I stood up as well, not knowing where this supposed tent was. I looked around and frowned. "Where did you guys get a tent anyway?" I wondered out loud.

[Callie]

Sebastian

I looked around, then grabbed the backpack I'd grabbed from the Cornucopia, unzipping it. "In here," I said, pulling the curled up tent out. "I grabbed it from the Cornucopia," I informed her with a small smile.

I watched Sebastian as he showed me the tent, pulling it out so we could begin to set it up. "I didn't know they were giving out shelter. You're pretty lucky to have grabbed it."

[Callie]

Sebastian

"Yeah," I said with a small smile, unfolding the tent after she'd taken it out of the bag. "I guess so." She had a point. How had I, of all people, gotten lucky enough to grab a tent? Whatever. Why question good fortune?

I bent down to help set up the tent, quieting as I did my best to prop it up.

Sebastian

I shoved a stake into the ground, wishing these tents came with directions. It hadn't collapsed onto the ground yet, anyways. That was progress, right?

I used my foot to dig a stake as far as it would go into the soil, then moved on to the next one. I was confused - we'd never gotten shelter like this in our district - but I was doing my best to set it up. "Does this look...right?" I asked, wrinkling my nose and stepping back to take in our work.

Sebastian

"It looks like it won't collapse on us, at the very least. I consider that a plus," I said with a laugh, throwing the flap open and crawling inside. Huh. It was roomier in here than I had expected.

I laughed nervously too. "That'll do then," I remarked, crawling in after him. I'd never been alone in a room - or much less, anything - with a guy before, and my face flushed automatically. "It's kind of big in here," I commented. "About the same size as my bedroom."

Sebastian

"It's bigger than my bedroom," I remarked, flopping down onto the ground.

"You must have a really small bedroom," I remarked stupidly, and I mentally slapped myself.

[Callie]

Sebastian

I shot her a friendly grin, shaking my hair out of my eyes. "Yup. We have a small house. It's not that bad, though. It's got family in it," I remarked with a small smile. Any home was made better by the presence of the ones you loved.

"Yeah, me too," I told him. "I'd say we have a smaller version of a cottage." I didn't exactly live in the rich part of our district, so my family and I were forced to live in poor conditions and a small house. Though we couldn't have it as bad as Sebastian apparently did. I smiled a little too. "Yes. Material items do not matter as much as the people we love.

[Callie]

Sebastian

A bad thought suddenly popped up in my head, and I didn't really want to think about it, but I brought it up anyways. "Well... at least maybe one of will make it back to our family," I murmured, laying down on the ground.

I glanced at him as I brought my knees into my chest, wrapping my arms around them and holding myself tightly. "Maybe," I murmured. It was hard to think that one of us or both of us could die, and it was worse thinking that we might even die at the hand of the other. I shivered. "Or neither of us will make it," I muttered more to myself.

[Callie]

Sebastian

"Hush," I said with a faint smile, "I'm trying to be as optimistic as I can in this condition."

I smiled a little dryly back at him. "Sorry if I find it hard to be. I usually am a pretty optimistic person.."

[Callie]

Sebastian

"S'alright," I told her, laying down on the ground and resting my head on my arms. "I can see why it's difficult."
