OOC: There aren't dorms, but there are classrooms.

I got bored standing around with the others, and decided to walk around, eventually seeing my old school. Heathcroft. After standing there like an idiot for a few minutes, and walked inside, just looking around.

Gabrielle

I slapped Mitch across the face when he roughly pressed his lips against mine.
"Aww, does the little Naught want to fight back now? That's a change," he scoffed.
"No, the little Naught doesn't like you when you're drunk. Or at all, actually."
I kicked him hard in the shin so he'd back off. He yelped a little and shot me a glare, taking Luke's gun to shoot me in the shoulder; he must've seen the wound already there. I bit my lip silently as they ran off.

I stepped behind a tree, hoping I didn't make too much noise. Who was this Ryan dude?

[Callie]

OOC: Nathan already knows about Ryan, remember? When Izzy blew up at V for telling her that she loved him and she killed him.

Izabelle

Then I shook my head and stood up, taking a step back, now whispering. "Never mind. It doesn't matter anyways. You're gone, and you're not coming back. I need to face that. Like V did," I murmured as I felt something wet go down my face. Must've gotten something in my eye. "You can come out, if you want, Nathan," I said out loud, so he would hear me. I figured he'd only gotten here just recently, and I hoped it hadn't been until just now, because I didn't want him to hear what I'd said before. About how it was Ryan's own fault and everything before that.

Trey

I backed against the wall as two guys ran past me, and I wondered what had them all freaked out, but I shrugged and kept walking, going into my old english classroom. The one that I'd been talked to in, and shipped off to boarding school. Where I'd put the tack on my teacher's chair. It was a harmless joke, really. Well, for the most part. People just needed to lighten up.

I bit my lip, and stepped out form behind the tree, sitting down next to her, but I didn't say anything.

Izabelle

I almost left, but instead I bit my lip and sat back down next to him. "What happened to your mom?" I asked abruptly. I hadn't ever heard of where she was. Was she here? Or had she left? I didn't see her around the mansion.

Nathan
I looked up at her in surprise. "She died," I said simply. "A ferry and another boat crashed on the river, and she was on the ferry. Then my dad got remarried shortly after...There was barely any time for me to get used to the idea she was gone." I sighed. "Sorry for my little ramble there.."

Izabelle

I shook my head. "It's fine," I said simply.

I looked down again, unsure of what to say.

Gabrielle

I looked around for something to pull the bullet out with and stop the bleeding. The last time I told the nurse she just rolled her eyes at me and shooed me out of the room, so I was on my own.

Izabelle

"How long were you listening?"

Trey

I sat down in one of the desks, then laughed at my stupidity. My desk. And my signature was still carved into it. There were various notes here, now, too. Some from girls telling me how hot I was, others from guys telling me I was awesome, some from other guys telling me I was a stupid jackass and one from another guy saying I was his idol. I made a weird face at that one, then got back up.

"Long enough." I said feeling ashamed.

[Callie]

Izabelle

I smiled faintly. "Well, now you know. I loved him, but I killed him... that can't be something you hear everyday."

"No, not usually," I said softly. "Don't think that'll make me stay away, though."

[Callie]

Izabelle

"Damn. Not even if I tell you I hate company?"

Nathan
"I already got that vibe, so no," I said with a slight smile.

[Callie]

Izabelle

I made a face and looked down at the ground. To be honest, Nathan didn't irritate me as much as his dad did. Or his sisters. I'd seen them around and always felt the urge to take out my dagger and - stop. You're not helping yourself, Izzy. They're going to be part of the group you have to teach to fight. Part of the group that could use it against you if they learned how to fight properly. I grunted slightly and stood up, running a hand through my hair nervously. What would happen if they did that?

I heaved myself up and stretched. "When are we going to start this training stuff?" I thought about my sisters attempting, and actually laughed. "Sorry. I was imagining what my sisters would be doing..."

[Callie]

Izabelle

"So was I," I said dryly. "Should I prepare myself for a lot of whining?"

[Emmy]

Nathan
"Yeah. A LOT of whining." I thought about it. "If you got annoyed and had to shoot them or something, I wouldn't mind." I said smirking.

[Callie]

Izabelle

"That would be bad. But if they whine enough, I'm definitely gonna have to bitch at them," I muttered.

[Emmy]

Nathan
"Go ahead, they need it." I said seriously, nodding.

[Callie]

Izabelle

I smirked. "I bitch at everybody; they'll probably stop listening eventually. I think I might have that jackass of yours announce - I'm talking about your dad, in case that wasn't clear - that training'll start tomorrow," I mumbled, biting my lower lip slightly. Would people even show up? More importantly, would they respect us?

[Emmy]

Nathan
"I figured that. Though he is one." I looked at her, then put my arm around her shoulder. "Things will go fine," I assured her.

[Callie]

Izabelle

I let out a harsh laugh and squirmed out from under his arm. It felt... weird. I wasn't sure I liked it. No. I didn't like it, because I didn't like Crosses. Though, now... I wasn't sure if I was reaffirming it or trying to convince myself. "I doubt it, but I'll survive," I told him with a faint smile.

I looked down at the ground. "Sorry," I said sincerely. "I don't mean to seem desperate or anything. Or, like a bastard since we're in a graveyard..."

[Callie]

Izabelle

I smirked slightly. "You don't. Besides, I think we both know I'd kick your ass if you even thought about trying to take advantage of me or something. Not that you would." He might've thought I was saying he wouldn't do it because I thought he was too nice for it or something, but it was because he - or any Cross other than Ryan - would never think about putting the moves on a naught. We were there to serve them, and that was it. Or at least, that was what most of them thought. But I was sure Nathan was no different. He might act like it, but he couldn't be.

Damion

I got bored at home and, feeling sentimental, went to the graveyard to visit Mom. When I got there, though, my temporary sentimentality was ruined by seeing Nathan with some naught, and they looked awfully close. "Nathan, what are you doing hanging out with a blanker?" I asked him in disgust. The blanker turned to look at me with a pissed expression on her face, and she crossed her arms. I smiled slightly, like a challenge. Now she looked amused. I didn't get it.

I was about to say something back to Izzy but somebody else talked before I could. I whirled around. "Damion?" I asked in surprise. Then my face set to stone. "Don't call her that." I warned.

[Callie]

Damion

"And why not?" I asked. "It's what she is. Don't tell me you're gonna go all soft on me now, Masters."

Izabelle

"It's fine, Nathan," I said dismissively, starting to leave the graveyard, but the name still stung. Yup. This was what I got for starting to even trust daggers. No matter. I just... had to not make the same mistake again. Not even Nathan.
