"It wasn't that long ago," I said, sighing. "They said she should be fine, but they're keeping her at the hospital for a few days."

"I KNOW that's how they think of us," I grumbled, stretching.

Dawn

"Ya can't really blame them though, can you?" I asked, grabbing another piece of pizza. God, why wasn't I getting filled up?

Rayne

"Oh," I said and shrugged. "Well... at least at the hospital, they can keep a close eye on her, so I can't freak out if something like that happens while I'm babysitting," I told her with a weak smile.

I nodded wearily. "You are just a food machine. That baby must be a hungry one," I said, winking.

Eileen
I nodded. His attempts to make me feel better was cute. "I'm going to go sign the forms," I mumbled, heading to the front desk. I told them the patient name and they handed me the forms to sign. Legal guardian...Eileen Daniels. Legal Parents...Eileen Daniels...N/A for father.

Dawn

"You're telling me," I said with a sigh.

I nodded and sat back down as she walked off to sign the papers.

I laughed and started flipping channels again. Boring, boring...ah, Wipeout. Funny show. I'm sticking on this channel.

I grabbed another piece of pizza and walked into the living room, plopping down on the couch beside him.

"Don't get any pizza sauce on the couch," I said sternly, then broke into a smile. "Nah, just kidding, but I'm too lazy to clean it if you do."

"Me too. Guess I won't get any on the couch, then." I smiled slightly.

I smiled back at her and returned to watching Wipeout. "Whoa!" I yelled as a dude got wacked in the face on screen. "Sorry. This show makes me pretty jumpy. And laugh a lot."

"You shouldn't laugh at other people's pain," I said with a smirk. "Then again, I can't really judge, because I do it, too."

"I say, how could you not? The show was made for us to laugh at the expense of people's pain," I said, trying to sound smart.

Eileen
I sat back down next to Rayne after what seemed like gruesome questions I was asked to answer. "That just sucked the life out of me, that did."

"Well, you look like you're still alive, on the bright side," I pointed out. "But what did they do?"

Dawn

"Touche," I answered thoughtfully, then grinned at him. "You shouldn't add 'I say' to the beginning of your sentence. It makes you sound like a major old-timer," I teased.

"Ugh, the questions were just so...I had to basically give them my life story!" I groaned.

Andy
"That was the point," I jeered.

"Fun fun," I remarked. "I wonder why they needed your life story."

Dawn

I shrugged. "If you insist."

I stuck my tongue out at her and averted my eyes back to the TV screen.

"Because they're nosy little bastards."

"I think that's a common thing with people who work in hospitals," I told her with a slight smle.

Dawn

"Very mature," I remarked, also looking back at the TV.

I shrugged. "Guess so. I mean, do they really need to know what my occupation and lifestyle is like?"

Andy
"You should know that I'm am the most mature person in the world."

Rayne

"Not if they already know what's wrong with her. Otherwise, it could probably be used for a diagnosis."

Dawn

I laughed. "You're not even the tiniest bit immature?"

I rolled my eyes. "Whatever, but I like my privacy."

"Nu uh!" I said with a grin.

I just shrugged.

Dawn

"Pity. All the best people are at least somewhat immature," I said, sticking my tongue out at him.

I sighed and leaned back in the chair. "I'll have to take off work today."

Bio: When she was ten, she went camping, and she was entranced by the camp fire. So slowly she would sneak matches and lighters into her room, just cuz she thought burning paper was fun. She was a pyro, and she loved it. One day after a hard day of highschool, She came home and tried to burn her F she got on her Trig paper. It got out of hand and she dropped the paper onto the carpet, Causing it to ignite. She ran out of her room watching it go up in flames. Next thing she new she was in a hospital room with sever burns to her stomach, and her parents were dead

"I'd offer to stick around, but I already planned on it, and I can't really blame you for wanting to be nearby," I told her.

Dawn

I shrugged. "Guess we'll have to wait and see, huh?"

"Mmhm," I mumbled, closing my eyes. "Maybe I can...I'll call Andy. He goes to the diner a lot, so he can tell them I won't be coming in." I pulled out my phone and dialed Andy's number slowly.

Andy
My eyebrows raised. "Yes...we'll see." My phone rang suddenly, and I scrambled to pull it out and press talk. "Y'ello?"
"Andy? It's...Eileen."
My eyebrows furrowed. And she would call me because...? I'm nothing but a perv to her. "Yeah. What is it?"
"Since you go to the diner often, when you go in today, can you tell them I can't come in? My sister's in the hospital."
"Yeah, sure no problem, Eileen," I mumbled.
"Phew thanks. See ya."
"See ya." I pressed the end button and looked at Dawn. "Well, if you're still hungry, I have to head over to the diner and do something for someone."

THat plane touches down one the small runway. You could basically see the whole town from the window. It was pretty small. I'm just glad to get away from everything back in St. louis. I get off and grab my bags, I flag down a Taxi and i drive to a hilton Garden Inn.
