"All right then. We can just hop in my car and head out," I said, standing up and brushing crumbs off of me.

I closed my phone and tucked it back in my pocket. "He said he'll do it. Guess I'll have to be nice to him for awhile."

I walk around and decide to rest underneath a lilac tree

I nodded and headed out the door, waiting for him.

I chuckled. "Only if he's nice to you, too."

Eventually I turned off the warm shower water and went into the kitchen to make breakfast. Huh. Milk-less Frosted Flakes or stale doughnuts. To the grocery store.

I opened the door to see Zack making out with some girl on the couch, just as Dawn had said. "Wow. Think you could at least take that to the bedroom? Y'know, for my sake, so I don't have to see you two going at it on my couch."
Zack shrugged and got up. "Tina was just about to leave."
"I was?"
"Yeah."
She frowned, but got up and walked out the door.

The lilac tree overlooked the pond. I picked up a flat rock and skipped it over the water

I rolled my eyes. "He's not too bad of a person, I don't think. But he is...a total perv."

Andy
I followed Dawn out, closing the front door behind me. I stretched and then opened the passenger side door for her, allowing her to get in the car.

Dawn

I got into the car and put my seatbelt on, smirking at him. "Are you a gentlemen all the time or am I just getting the special treatment because I'm carrying around your kid?"

Rayne

"Most guys are like that," I said and nodded, grinning at her. "Yes, even me."

"More the second choice than the first," I said, grinning as I slid into my seat.

Eileen
I raised my eyebrows. "You? No, not possible. I don't see you as the immature perv that Andy is."

Dawn

I just laughed and leaned back in the seat. I wasn't quite sure how I felt about this baby. I mean, I'd always wanted one, but I'd thought I'd be married and in love when I had one. And certainly not this young.

Rayne

I smiled at her. "Maybe I'm not that immature, but I can tell you right now, I keep perverted thoughts to myself."

I walked towards the main part of town, twirling the ring on my finger,since it was a bad habit. I looked over the pond then walked away. I pulled out a lighter and started lighting it, then blowing it out. It was the only thing i could remeber everything by

"Oh do you? Well, share 'em. I want to know what you think when you see me." A grin widened across my face, but I cocked my head to the side to look innocent.

Andy
"And what are you thinking about over there?" I called to Dawn, glancing at her far out expression.

My eyes went wide. "Ohh no. These are thoughts I'm keeping to myself. Know that I love you, I think you're sexy, and we'll leave it at that. Okay?"

Dawn

I glanced up. "Hmm?" I asked, still not really paying attention. What if I didn't... know how to take care of a baby? Books weren't going to help; I'd never learned from books. Like... I couldn't. I'd just have to know.

I threw my head back and laughed. "Damn straight! Ditto, babe." I kept my tone light and teasing, though it didn't seem appropriate for a hospital, much less the situation I was in.

Andy
"What's on your mind? You have this very distant expression on your face right now. It's actually kind of cute."

I shook my head at her and took her into my arms. "You're amazing," I whispered into her ear.

Dawn

I smiled slightly at him, looking down at my feet. "The baby, mostly. I mean... what if I don't know what to do? What if I'm not a good mom?"

Eileen
I turned my head slightly to lock mouths with him, putting one hand in his hair. When we broke apart, I turned back, smiling, and murmured, "I know."

Andy
"You'll be a great mom," I reassured her. "Don't all women have some sort of natural maternal instinct?"

Dawn

I shrugged. "Probably not. There are some pretty shitty moms out there."

Rayne

I chuckled and kissed the top of her head. "So what now?"

OOC: I sort of want the four of them to get to meet.

"Hey, whatever you fail at I'll take over for you. I know some kids who are super attached to their father and don't give a crap about their mother," I chuckled, grinning.

Eileen
"Well...I was thinking...I don't need to be here 24/7...while we've got some time to ourselves...we can head back to my place and...talk?" I suggested. I hope it didn't seem selfish of me, but I do deserve some time off occasionally.

I smiled slightly and nodded at her. "Sure."

Dawn

I rolled my eyes and punched him lightly in the arm. "Thanks, that makes me feel so much better about myself."

I grinned. "No problem. I've been told I was good at that."

Eileen
I grinned back at him and stood up, taking his hand. "Shall we go then?"

"We shall," I said with a small smile, walking slowly for the door.

Dawn

I smiled weakly, but I was still worried.

"Seriously, you don't need to worry. You can buy those books, take those Mommy/Daddy classes; I'm pretty sure you have a maternal instinct in there."

Eileen
We walked out of the hospital and I breathed the fresh air. It felt nice in my hair, even though the circumstances weren't the best. I headed to Rayne's car and let go of his hand so I could get in the passenger's side.

Dawn

I stuck my tongue out at him. "If you say so. But that means you're gonna have to come, too."

Rayne

I got into the driver's seat after opening Eileen's door for her and started the car.

I rolled my eyes. "Fine then. But I don't see what I have to do besides change diapers."

Eileen
I leaned back in the seat, closing my eyes and daydreaming. I seemed to have dozed off for a bit, because I opened my eyes to find the car stopped and parked in front of my house. I yawned. "Sorry 'bout that. Today's been a bit crazy."

I shook my head. "It's no problem."

Dawn

"Do you know how to change a diaper? And feeding a baby is sort of necessary to keep it alive," I said, looking at him with a slight smirk.

I looked pointedly at her. "Of course I...don't know how to change a diaper. And don't you do all the feeding?" I asked, raising my eyebrows.

Eileen
I yawned again. "Oh good. Okay, I need to make a pot of coffee and wake myself up a bit. Then we can...do whatever." I smirked and opened the door for myself, getting out of the car and pulling my keys out of my pocket.

[Callie]

Rayne

I coughed to myself, hoping that would stop the perverted thoughts flooding into my head now, then locked the car and followed her.

Dawn

"At the beginning. I mean later, with a bottle. Obviously I'll have to do the feeding at first."

I nodded as I turned a corner, moving into a parking spot as we reached the diner. "I don't think feeding a baby with a bottle will be all that hard. I've done it before," I commented.

Eileen
I opened the door and headed up to my apartment door, unlocking it with my key and pushing open the door. I looked over my shoulder to make sure Rayne was still there and then headed into the kitchen, starting a pot of coffee.

I shut the door behind me and sat down on her couch, yawning a bit and stretching out.

Dawn

I got out of the car and grinned. "Well, that's all you had to say," I told him, shutting the door and heading up to the restaurant place.

"Why didn't I think of it until now?" I grumbled as I locked the car doors and headed into the diner. "Okay, look for a scary redheaded woman with a beak."

While the coffee brewed, I watched Rayne for a bit, leaning against the kitchen counter. "Gettin cozy over there?" I teased.
