I raised both my eyebrows. "Oh really now? Well that could make a difference."

Eileen
My brows furrowed. "What do you mean by that?" I asked, though I had a good idea.

Rayne

I looked down at the carpet. "I have twin sons," I admitted quietly.

Dawn

"Yeah? I thought so." I smiled slightly.

Eileen
My eyebrows raised so high you could barely see them. "Really?" I was able to choke out. Wow...twin sons?

Andy
I stirred my drink around and then looked at her. "So what do you intend on doing now?"

[Callie]

Rayne

I nodded. "My, uh... ex-girlfriend won't let me see them, though." I chuckled dryly, then looked back up to her. "You wanna hear the story?"

Dawn

I shrugged. "I don't have the slightest idea. I got as far as telling you, and then had a blank. But I guess I should get back home and seduce my boyfriend."

Eileen
I nodded, mouth half open. "You deserve to hear mine afterwards," I whispered. I crossed my legs, ready to listen.

Andy
I nodded. "You can always tell him you don't need his help, or fake anger at him for doing that to you. Tell him you didn't want it and stuff like that."

[Callie]

Dawn

I frowned slightly, shaking my head. "I can't do the second one, at least. He'd wonder why the hell I kept it, then. And... I don't... I don't know if I can take care of him myself."

Rayne

I took a deep breath. "My ex-girlfriend... well, ex-best friend, Audrey. She's their mom. Her boyfriend had just broken up with her and she felt like shit. Acted like it, too. She was crying all over the place and she didn't feel up for anything. After a long time, I managed to convince her that going to a bar would be a good idea. It might help her forget what she felt for him. 'Course, it only magnified how I felt for her. I'd been in love with her for years, but I was too much a chickenshit to ever tell her. Anyhow, we both had quite a few beers, got sufficiently drunk, and... well... the twins were born. But... she won't talk to me anymore. Says it's all my fault, and she gave birth to them, so they're her kids more than mine," I finished softly. I really did want to meet them. I didn't even know their names or what they looked like.

Andy
I sighed. "I see what you're getting at here." The first three girls I had gotten pregnant I hadn't cared about; the fourth I really loved but lost; Dawn was somewhere in the middle. She started out as a one-night stand...that I'm getting more and more attracted to. "I'll take full responsibility here and help out, if you want."

Eileen
"I would have had no idea," I whispered. I leaned forward and kissed him, pulling myself closer to him so that we were right next to each other. When I pulled away, I sighed. "My turn." I gather my thoughts and then murmured, "He was my life. Everyday I looked forward to seeing him and hanging out with him. I thought he was my true love. Eric...he took me to his senior prom when I was sixteen, still a sophmore. He...he took advantage of me that night. When I got pregnant, he basically spit in my face and told me he wouldn't help me out at all. He went off and found himself a better girlfriend. When my mom found out I now had no support from him, she kicked me out to fend for myself. I'm glad that Bree and I are healthy and doing pretty decent. I taught her, when we moved here, to referr to me as Leeny in public. She understands perfectly, she's so smart. I love her to death and all that matters now is her." I hadn't realized I was crying until something wet hit my hand. I buried my face in my hands, ashamed.

Rayne

I smiled weakly and kissed the top of her head, pulling her as close to me as I could. "We both have pretty shitty pasts, huh? I think yours is worse, though, if I'm being honest."

Dawn

I looked up at him, shocked. "No. It's... fine. I'll figure something out." I smiled a bit and got up from the stool. "I'll see you around."

Eileen
"I don't like admitting it, but yeah, probably." I chuckled weakly, but burrowed into Rayne as far as possible.

Andy
I frowned. "Hope so, yeah. See ya." Well that was weird. But if she was going to dump her boyfriend or somehow end up on her own, I want - no need - to be apart of the picture.

[Callie]

Rayne

I smiled, then reluctantly pulled away from her. "I'm gonna check on Bree," I told her, getting off the couch and getting the toast out of the toaster first. "Uh... what's she like on it?"

Dawn

I drove back to Adrian's, and when I got there, his car was gone, so who knew what the hell he was up to. I unlocked the door and my eyes widened. I scoffed a bit. "Well. Lovely."
Zack and some other girl I'd never met before were sitting on the sofa, making out, both of them half naked. Zack's eyes got as big as saucers and he leapt off the couch, walking over to me. "Please, Dawn, I can - "
"Does it look like I care? Have fun, Zack," I told him, brushing past him and walking into the guest room to get my things.
"It's not what it looks like."
"Are you cheating on me, Zack?" I asked him, looking over and puitting my hands on my hips.
He sighed. "I... yes, but - "
"Then it's exactly what it looks like. And you know what? That's fine. I cheated on you too. A one-night stand. With Andy," I said. "And you know? Lately he's been being better to me than you ever have."
Zack's eyes narrowed. "You're still cheating on me?"
"How long has this been going on?" I asked. My head was spinning slightly. I felt angry. Betrayed. But I knew I shouldn't. I managed to shove my things into a bag while Zack just stood there.
"A few months."
"How many?"
"Six."
Well, that was longer than I'd expected. "No. It was a one night stand. I'm not cheating on you anymore. And if I were to fuck another guy right now, I still wouldn't be. Because it's over, Zack."
"Jiust as well. It's been over for a long time, Dawn," he said softly.
"I still would've appreciated the notice," I said and grabbed my suitcase, heading for the door and slamming it behind me. I kept walking until a familiar car stopped in front of me and rolled down the windows.
"I don't normally pick up hitchhikers, but you look absolutely pissed and I love the ramblers," Adrian said. "Get on in."
I bit back a smile and got into the front seat, explaining the whole Zack thing. When I was done, he dropped me off at the city near the bar, but in the park this time. I sat down at a bench and finally let the tears falll.

Eileen
"Don't put anything on it; that way if she gets seriously sick then there won't be much for her to throw up," I called to him.

Andy
I downed the rest of my beer, paid the tab, and walked back to my house. I'm going to be a father...again. But I might actually get to see this baby...no. Don't get your hopes up. Besides, you don't care about the other ones. They didn't feel right. Jessie's baby...that one felt like my kid. So does this one. That means...I must actually like the mother. Oh crap.

OOC: Poor Dawn! If she wants Andy, she knows where his house is.

Dawn

After a while longer of sitting, I got tired of it and got up, getting my things and trying to remember where Andy's house was at. I remembered after a bit, then stood there for a moment before getting the courage to actually knock on the door instead of standing there like a lost duck.

Rayne

"Right," I said, and grabbed a plate, putting the toast on and going back into Bree's room, where I smoothed the har back from her forehead again. "Feel like you can eat something, munchkin?"

Andy
I had been sitting on the couch watching the news when I heard a slight knock on my door. I opened it and my mouth practically flew open. "Dawn?" I asked stupidly. But after looking her over, I could tell something was wrong. "Are you okay? Come in, come in," I said, pulling the door open wider.

Eileen
I heard the creak of Bree's bed as she sat up. I heard the crunch of bread, hopefully as she chewed, and then chimed, "Thank you, Daddy!" My mouth dropped open, and I covered it with my hands. Bree is seriously confused today!

[Callie]

Dawn

I stood there for a minute. I wasn't going to stay for long, probably. "I... uh..." I sighed and looked down at the ground. "Do you think I could... stay here for a while?"

Rayne

My eyes went wide, but I smiled gently at her. "No problem, munchkin."

Andy
"Of course!" I exclaimed, a little to eagerly.

Eileen
I heard more crunching as Bree munched on the bread, and I sunk back into the couch, closing my eyes and taking deep breaths.

[Callie]

Dawn

I walked inside and sat down on the couch, putting my bag next to me. I looked back over to Andy. "Can I take you up on that offer?"

OOC: I dunno what to put for Rayne... xD

OOC: Eh, he can come back in the living room if he wants.

Andy
I nodded, closing the door slowly. I sat down next to her and leaned back, putting my feet up on the coffee table. "So...what happened?"

Rayne

I walked back in the living room and sat down next to Eileen on the couch, kissing her gently.

Dawn

"He's been cheating on me for six months." I shrugged. "At least when I did, it was only one night."

Eileen
I kissed him back, then leaned into him when we broke apart. "I love you," I murmured.

Andy
I frowned. "I'm really sorry. When you put it like that, it sounds like a bowl of crap."

[Callie]

Rayne

My eyes went wide. "Did you just...?" She had just said it. There was no way I was imagining that. But did I...? I blinked. I couldn't. I... did I? I didn't believe in love anymore, and this felt different than it had with Audrey. Then again, they said love didn't feel the same way when it was two different people. And Eileen made me feel... she made me feel better. Happy.

Dawn

"What do you mean?" I asked, looking up at him.

Eileen
I looked up at Rayne and frowned when I saw his expression. "...I think I'll go and give Bree some company. Feel free to watch something on my shitty television." I stiffly got up and headed to Bree's room. "Hi baby," I said with a smile, kissing her forehead.

Andy
"The fact that you both cheated on the other. I don't know, it just sounds like you could put it in better terms." I shrugged. "I don't think clearly, or like most people."

[Callie]

Rayne

I sighed and put my head in my hands after she left. Well, I couldn't exactly blame her. I'd frozen up, and she'd wanted to hear it back. But it'd hurt when she left.

Dawn

I laughed a bit. "What do you suggest I call it, then?"

Andy
I smiled wryly. "Call it payback, even though you had no idea he was cheating on you. Or call it officially declaring you guys over."

Eileen
"I don't wanna eat anymore, Momma," Bree whispered, pushing the plate away from her. I put it on her bedside table for later. I went into the bathroom and took the Tylonel Rayne had brought out of the plastic bag. I opened it, poured the right amount, and coaxed Bree to drink it. When she finished, I brought the little plastic cup back into the bathroom, washed it out, and store the Tylonel in a cabinet. I went back into Bree's room and rubbed her forehead for awhile, singing her favorite song, This Will Be(An Everlasting Love) quietly until she fell asleep.

OOC: I was listening to the song right now, so I felt like putting it in there. xD

[Callie]

OOC: XD Makes me think of Taxi. If that's the movie it's in.

Dawn

"Zack and I are officially over. There," I said with a small smile at him.

Rayne

I took my head out of my hands, and decided maybe I should go home, while I tried to figure out what the hell I felt for Eileen. I mean... maybe I did love her. After I thought for a while longer, it hit me. I loved everything about her. Well, everything I knew about. I didn't give a shit that she was poor or that I'd just found out that her sister was actually her daughter. I loved Bree, too, though not in the same way. All I knew was that I loved Eileen, and I wanted to keep that feeling of butterflies in my stomach whenever she was around.

Andy
I smiled. "Good job with that." I scratched the stubble on my face. Hm. Need to shave soon. "So, depending on how long you'll be staying here, I'll stay on the couch and you can sleep in my bed. No use trying to defy it."

Eileen
"This will be some kind of wonderful...this will be an everlasting love for...me," I whispered. Bree was asleep now, and I debated heading back to the living room. I shrugged and did so, sitting on the couch, but not exactly right next to Rayne. I felt pretty hurt by his reaction.

[Callie]

Rayne

I turned when Eileen say down. "I'm sorry," I murmured. "I just... I didn't know what to do. After... the whole episode with Audrey, I stopped... believing in love. But I was wrong."

Dawn

"You're awfully persistent, aren't you? I seem to vaguely remember having a discussion about this with you a few weeks ago. That time, though, we both ended up in the bed."

Eileen
I looked over at Rayne and raised my eyebrows. "You think I would have too," I said coldly. "But I believe in you."

Andy
I laughed nervously. "Yeah, I do recall that. That's kind of what got is here, isn't it?"

[Callie]

Rayne

The tone of her voice seemed to pierce the air like an overly sharp icicle, but I tried to ignore it. "I'm sorry," I repeated. I didn't know what else to say. How to form the words I wanted to say. That I cared about her more than I'd ever cared about anything else, and how my heart was breaking right now to know that she was hurt and to know that it was all my fault.

Dawn

I smiled slightly and looked down. "Sort of. Though I probably would've still caught his... payback... and then I would've had nowhere to stay, so I would've had to go back to living with my mom until I could get back on my feet. And that just would've been a wonderful time," I said sarcastically.

Eileen
"I heard you the first time," I said quietly, looking away. I kept my ears open for Bree, any coughing or anything.

Andy
"Sounds lovely, living with your mother at what, nineteen? She would love to see you come home as a stumbling drunk who wins loads of cash."

[Callie]

OOC: xD We like drama too much.

Dawn

"Oh yes. And don't forget pregnant. She actually guessed that one. Told my dad I was gonna get knocked up too young, and I'd end up being a hobo in the corners of Las Vegas." I scoffed. So she was right, but I wasn't currently in the corners of Las Vegas. And I'd get a job. Hopefully.

Rayne

"I don't wanna lose this, Eileen. I believe in you, too," I said softly.
