After a minute or so, I pulled back to breathe, resting my forehead against his lightly. I pecked him on the lips once more, then tucked my head into the hollow under his chin, like nothing had happened...though I was surely grinning and felt bubbly inside.

Rayne

"Well..." I said, blinking a few times, wondering if I'd imagined it. "Nice," I finished, blushing a bit, unable to think of anything to say. Of course I had to get all shy now.

Eileen
I couldn't stop myself from laughing a little. It was kind of cute how shy he was. "It was."

[Callie]

Rayne

I smiled a bit and looked back at the movie.

OOC: Should we skippy now, or see what plays out?

[Callie]

OOC: I'm ready to skip, but if you want, we can keep going. xD I don't really know what to post, though.

OOC: Same, that's why I suggested skipping. Okay, let's say it's been...two weeks?

Eileen
I yawned as I looked over at Bree's sleeping body. I didn't like waking her up early, but now that Rayne could watch her, I could take longer shifts and get more money. I had just enough money to pay last month's rent, but I really have to start working harder to get enough to pay for this month's, plus some extra money for food and clothes. I sighed. Five more minutes.

Rayne

I got out of the shower and put some clothes on, then went to go and start the pancakes that Bree always liked in the mornings.

Dawn

I quietly slipped out of the bed and left Zack sleeping next to me, holding a hand over my mouth as I ran into the bathroom and emptied last night's supper into the toilet. Ugh. I'd been doing this way too much for my own good lately.

Andy
The sound of garble from the TV made me open an eye. Great, the energy bill just went up. I need to remember to turn the TV off when I start to get sleepy. I stretched, looked at the clock, and hopped out of bed, changing quickly. Time to walk to the casino to look for Dawn. She had been coming less frequently, but something inside me kept me wanting to go and keep seeing her.

Eileen
After I had showered and dried my curls, I slipped on my work uniform. "Bree honey," I said quietly, shaking her little body. "Bree?" I pressed an ear to her chest. No, she was fine...but her breathing was heavy, and her nose was running. "Oh, great. She's sick!" I exclaimed to myself. I took out my phone and dialed Rayne. "Hello?" I said when it picked up.

Rayne

I picked up the phone. "Yeah? What's wrong, Eileen?"

Dawn

My eyes went wide when it hit me. There was no way. It wasn't even possible. I threw on some clothes, ran a brush through my hair, then walked over to the convenience store without waking Adrian or Zack up. I grabbed a box of pregnancy tests, then a gallon of Sunny D, and drank the whole thing. I ran to the bathroom and used the tests, ignoring the amused look the cashier had when I ran in there. But I couldn't...
I slumped down on the toilet seat and started to cry. I couldn't handle this. And everything was falling down now. It'd been months since I'd had sex with Zack, which meant that Andy was definitely this baby's father.

OOC: Le Gasp!

Eileen
"Bree, she's sick. I'll just keep her at home today and take off of work." I bit my lip as I headed to the bathroom. "Do you mind picking up some Tylonel? I'm out."

Andy
I reached the casino and headed to the bar. I didn't see Dawn or that Zack boyfriend of hers anywhere. I sat on a stool and chose to wait.

OOC: Eh, we all knew it was coming. xDD

Dawn

After I'd thoroughly emptied all my tears out, I stood up and threw away the tests. I'd taken seven, and every single one had come back positive, so I had to face the facts. I was pregnant. I was becoming everything Mom had told me I'd be the last time I saw her. I decided not to think about that, and that I had to tell Andy, at least. So I headed down to the casino, because, if my guess was right, he'd be there. I walked inside and looked at him for a minute before walking up and sitting down next to him. "Hey," I said quietly.

Rayne

I frowned slightly. "Yeah, sure. I'll be there in about ten minutes."

OOC: Lol, yes we did.

Andy
I blinked. "Hey. How are you?" Wow, she basically just materialized right in front of me.

Eileen
"'Kay, thanks," I breathed and hung up. I started pacing across mine and Bree's room, waiting and checking on her.

Dawn

I just shrugged and ordered a beer. One couldn't hurt, right? "What about you?"

Rayne

I went and picked up some tylenol from the nearest store, then drove off to Eileen's house and parked my car, knocking on the door when I arrived.

Andy
I asked for a mango margarita and took a sip when it arrived. "Kinda lonely." I took a thoughtful sip, then said, "So, where's that boyfriend of yours?" It had become a common conversation topic between us now; we had learned to forget our little mishap. Sort of.

Eileen
I hurried to the door, opening it quickly. "Thank you!" I said, wrapping my arms quickly around Rayne and then taking the small bag in his hands. "Can you wake up Bree for me, please?" I called as I headed to get her breakfast ready.

[Callie]

Dawn

"Asleep," I answered, biting my lip a bit and shaking my head. "I think we might have a fight though."

Rayne

I hugged her back and nodded, walking back to Bree's room and shaking her gently. "Hey, Bree. It's time to wake up, munchkin."

Andy
I raised an eyebrow. "And why is that?"

Eileen
As I popped some bread into the toaster, I heard Bree moan from the other room. "Tired...tummy hurts...where's Momma?" I froze. She must be confused...she can't think right...ohhhh crap.

[Callie]

Dawn

I looked down at the counter. "I'm pregnant."

Rayne

"She's getting you something to eat in the kitchen," I said in a soothing voice, pushing her hair away from her forehead.

OOC: Will Rayne be questioning Eileen about what Bree just said, or has he caught on?

Andy
I blinked at Dawn in shock for a minute, then gulped down the rest of my drink. No way, there's no way...this is the fifth girl...what would Dawn do if she knew about my past? "That...it's not possible...there's no way..."

[Callie]

OOC: He doesn't get it. And neither do I. Oh! He'll question later. But for now he thinks that Bree's been with Eileen so long that maybe she calls her mom sometimes.

Dawn

"You're telling me," I mumbled, drinking some of the beer. God, this was a mess. And how the hell was I supposed to tell Zack?

OOC: Ah, okay!

Andy
"Ease up on the alcohol," I said, pushing the beer bottle away from her mouth. I asked for a refill on mine, then looked at her. "You could always tell him you have the stomach flu for now, then pretend he knocked you up. When you have the baby, it could be 'premature'." I've gotten pretty good at coming up with these stories lately.

[Callie]

Dawn

I grimaced. "We haven't... um... had sex in a few months."

Andy
"That's why you should seduce him tonight and tell him you've just had the flu recently," I explained again.

Eileen
The toast popped back up, and I put the pieces of bread on a paper plate. When sick, you only eat little things that won't fill you up; that way you won't upset your stomach. I walked into the bedroom. "Hi honey," I whispered, bending down on my knees. "Can you sit up and eat for me, please, Bree?" She nodded weakly and sat up. "Eat your toast and then you can have the cherry juice when you're done," I said softly. Bree nibbled on the toast and I gestured for Rayne to follow me into the living room to give her peace.

Dawn

I bit my lip. It was crazy but you know what they say. It just might work.

Rayne

I followed Eileen out into the living room and raised an eyebrow at her. "Mama?"

Andy
I shrugged. "You never know unless you try. Unless you want him to break up with you, or whatever might happen."

Eileen
I looked down at my feet. What do I do? Tell him the truth? Can I actually trust him? I searched Rayne with my eyes...I couldn't find anything untrustworthy about him. But what if he tells everyone? I just want a normal life with no shame. I sighed as I sat down on my ratty old couch. "Sit," I told him before saying anything else.

Rayne

I sat down and looked up at her.

Dawn

I frowned. "Well, this is where it gets interesting," I mumbled sarcastically. "I'm not sure I... feel... the same way... as I used to... about him."

Eileen
I sighed and looked down at my feet. "I'm going to assume I can trust you. If I can't...then this is all a mistake." I watched a bug crawl across the wall for a bit before I blurted, "Bree is my daughter."

[Callie]

OOC: *cough*

Rayne

"I had no idea," I said sarcastically, then smiled kindly at her. "Sorry. But you know... there's a pretty big age difference between the two of you, and your parents probably wouldn't've waited that long to have another kid."

I let out a sigh of relief, then shrugged. "It happens all the time. I could have been the child who was born while they were teens, and they wanted to wait until I could take care of my little sibling before they had one. You never know." I grinned sheepishly. "So...you're not freaked out or anything?"

[Callie]

OOC: Actually, I was coughing at the absence of an Andy post.

Rayne

I shook my head. "I'm not a hypocrite." Then I blinked, realizing what I'd just said. Maybe she hadn't noticed.
