I smirked. "Don't worry, I'll hustle him in your honor."

Rayne

The waitress put the check on the table and I took my wallet out, getting the money and her tip out, and putting them in the booklet.

Andy
I smirked back. "Good, you do that." I raised a hand and called for the bartender.

Eileen
Phew. There went that tension - for me anyway. "Do you want to...go home and do something?" I asked calmly.

[Callie]

Rayne

I arched an eyebrow at her. "Whose house and what?"

Dawn

I walked over to the pool table and just watched Zack play pool with a few other guys for now - I knew they wouldn't let me join until this game was over, anyhow. I kept sneaking glances over to Andy occasionally, too, though.

Eileen
I shrugged. "Your house is probably way better than mine. And I dunno...watch TV? What do normal people do in a house?" I asked. I really wouldn't know.

Andy
After quickly downing my second drink, I decided it best to stop now. Didn't want Dawn thinking I was some stupid drunk all the time. I paid my tab and walked up to an electronic dartboard. Good way to vent anger.

Rayne

"Well, my house, then." Then I shrugged. "Yeah, I usually read or watch TV."

Dawn

The game ended and another started. I ended up being on Zack's team, because the other guys didn't see me as a threat. Zack smiled and squeezed my hand, and I did my best to smile back, though I still felt guilty.

Andy
I threw the darts a few times, hitting the outer bullseye once or twice. I glanced at Dawn and saw her with her boyfriend now. Blood boiled under my skin, and I threw the dart as hard as possible...hitting the inner bullseye. I grinned.

Eileen
I stood up, brushing any crumbs on me off. "Well then let's go." I smiled.

Rayne

I stood up, too, and headed for the door, opening for her. "Ladies first," I said with a grin.

Eileen
I laughed once and walked through, my head shaking slightly. I got in the passenger side and buckled in, laying my head back and humming to myself.

Rayne

I let the door close and got into the car after her, starting the drive back to my house.

When we reached his house, the first thing that shocked me was how much it looked like a...house. I stumbled out of the car and stopped myself from gaping.

Rayne

I locked the car and headed up to the door, unlocking it and holding it open for her again.

Eileen
I walked through the door, nodding my thanks, and scoped the room. The dining room and kitchen were one, seperated from the living room by a folding door. I sat down on the loveseat in the living room, taking everything in. It looked so...clean here. So...normal. Or what should be normal, anyway.

Rayne

I shut the door and plopped down on the loveseat next to her. "So now we watch TV. What do we opt for: scary movie, action adventure, comedy, mushy romance, or a romantic comedy?"

Eileen
"I haven't seen a scary movie in forever! Can't watch them around Bree," I explained quickly.

OOC: Muahaha, my thoughts exactly.

Rayne

I nodded. "Understandable," I said as I looked through the Pay-Per-View channels for something to watch. "See anything good?"

Eileen
"The Ring looks good," I commented. "I heard about it. People coming out of wells to kill you sounds pretty interesting."

Rayne

"Not something I would want to happen in real life, but interesting all the same," I said with a grin, ordering it.

I lay back in the loveseat, pulling my feet up onto the cushions as the opening credits came on the screen. "I don't want a creepy kid in a well killing me off."

[Callie]

Rayne

I laughed and grinned at her. "Don't worry, I'll beat 'em up for you if they try."

Eileen
I smiled appreciatively. "Thanks, that'll help."

Rayne

"Thought it might," I said with a smile.

Eileen
I quieted as the beginning credits rolled off the screen. I watched the beginning scenes with wide eyes, expecting the worst. I turned frozen as the movie turned worse. I let out a scream as the first murder was made, and I hid my face in the couch. I must seem like such a wuss.

I walked slowly through town, scanning the faces of everyone I walked by, keeping my eyes peeled for Derryck.

Rayne

I grimaced. Okay, that was just gruesome. I turned when Eileen screamed and saw her bury her face in the pillow. I wrapped my arms around her and pulled her closer to me. "Hey, didn't I say I'd keep you safe?" I asked jokingly.

"Of course I do," I teased, sticking my tongue out at him.

[Callie]

Adrian

"Good," I said with a grin, taking the chicken nuggets out when they beeped and giving all but three of them to Bree. I handed the other three to Aubrey. "Merry Christmas," I said teasingly.

Bree
I gobbled the nuggets down quickly while keeping my eyes glued to the TV screen. I swallowed so I could shout, "A clue! A clue!!"

Eileen
I burrowed deeper into Rayne's arms, resting my head on his shoulder. I loved the feel of his warmth surrounding me. "I believe you," I said quietly.

Rayne

I looked down at her so my eyes met hers and felt... different. Weird. But a good kind of weird. I hadn't noticed how soft her lips looked before, and I found myself wondering what it would be like to kiss her.

Eileen
I felt Rayne's eyes on me, and I looked up at him. I searched his face for any traces of awkwardness or dislike, but there wasn't any. He was watching me the same way too, but in a more...desiring way. I placed a hand on his cheek lightly, hesitated, and then pulled his face down to mine, pressing my lips gently against his.

I kissed her back, and realized I'd been right - it did feel good to kiss her.
