I groaned. I didn't want to argue, but my mouth didn't agree with me. "Exactly, he's your boyfriend! You've never wanted my approval before, about anything." I was gripping the steering wheel so tight that my knuckles started turning white. "I may be your best friend, but you handle these things yourself. Nothing is different just because I don't like him!"

"But it was your idea to have fun and start dating again, so of course I wanted your approval!" I tried my best to stiffle a sob, and blink back the tears in my eyes. I usually never got this upset over little things like these, and we both knew it. What was wrong with me?

I felt a tear whisper down my cheek, and I turned away and looked out the window. I didn't want to say anything... although, I don't think a single word I could utter would make the situation any worse than it already was.

When there was no reply I looked over to her. "Are you... are you crying?" I was caught of guard, the anger almost disappearing the moment I saw the tears. I'd never seen her cry before. Not even happy tears.

I slowly opened the car door and walked towards the door. I took small, tiny steps, because my vision was so blurred from all the tears that had been pouring. It just... I felt as if reality had just hit me like a tonne of bricks.

I frowned, but didn't respond to his statement. I sat down on the couch and kicked off my heels, staring at my bare feet in silence. Jesus, what was wrong with me? I felt disgusted with myself.

I went in to the kitchen, filling a pot with water and turning on the stove. I knew Mina's house like I knew my own, so finding the stuff I needed to make her tea wasn't a challenge. As it boiler up I poured it in a mug and walked over to her, putting it on the coffee table. Then, I finally sat down opposite her.

I stared at the mug for a while, before eventually reaching for it and taking a sip of my tea. I was starting to calm down, finally - it wasn't like me to get so emotional, though.
