Lies of Ivyfalls

Backstory: Human kind was never suppose to know about the secret world of the mystics. However some mystics felt this to be stupid, foolish even. They were clearly stronger and better than humans therefore they should be ruling them. Well one being had that in her mind and went through with it. She didn't care what it took to be gain total control of a small city near Santa Fe. Her blood lust for power envloped her eventully she destroied her own soul. Sure there were groups who rose to stop her, all engulfed in the flames of her power. However she wasn't strong enough to stop the high counsil, she managed to wound them heavily, but with the help of the wild ones, and the remaining peace keepers she was stopped. But the cost was tragic very few survived the ruins of Rosefalls*, leaving in it's waste a smoldering crater that was once, a major capital of mystical people. But is the evil gone, or will it rise from the ashes like a dark phoenix?

Intro! Pretty intense right? Yeah that's what I thought too. Basically it goes like this everyone in Rosefalls died, tragic I know. But their scrafice wasn't in vain right. I mean they stopped the dark one, or did they? Confused yet? Don't be because out stotry begins on the complete opposit end of the coast, that's right our lovely city is still standing tall and beautiful in Pennsivannia. So what about the mystic council? Well after a painstaking ten years of cover up they managed to get a grip on things, and Rosefalls is now just a myth of if it really exsisted. Now one talks about it, no one needs too. It's gone caput ancient history. However will the tragic events be the same fate for the dear sweet citizens of Ivyfalls, well that's a nother day a nother story, my lovelies! -J

Author's Note: This roleplay shall be based off a previous one I made called The Secret of Rosefalls* however squeale it is not, this is a new erra as it is ten years in the future to all the events of Rosefalls. If you have characters though I think most would have perished, you may bring them in(Or offspring if they managed to escape, or perhaps they have relatives from here). To help any confusion. In the Mystic relm there where two major city much like todays New York and L.A. both on opposit ends of the state, and both with different beings. Ivyfalls was always a bit more conservitive about people finding out about their secrets, and with the fall of Rosefalls this is now the major capital of all the Mystics.

Ivyfalls Law!

You are never to tell a human your secret, doing so is simply death end of story. Never revaele yourself to them, never take them to any rituals. If a human is found knowing the secret of the citizens they are to be changed, or killed. Most important you aren't allowed to fall in love with the humans!

The Mysics!

-Vampire: Oh yes the good, the bad, the old, young, ugly, and beautiful we have the Vampire. They have slightly paler skin than the usal person. They feast on blood, they choose wether or not to kill when doing so. Generally those who kill are evil. They are much stronger, faster and derable than a human. However the traditional wooden stake to the heart does nicely, decapitation, and my favorite roasting to a toasty 1000 degrece. Now how about some additional info! Vampires don't like the sun, though they won't become a pillar of ash, they will be very weak and easier to kill. They generally don't hang out with humans, or other mystics besides witches. They range from loners, to small groups. They're more civilized than other mystics. Some even have more powers than the usal vampies! Their general life span is forever, unless you know you set them on fire.

-Witch: ''I'll get you my pretties and your little dog too!" Oh yes wicked witch theys ladies and gentes are not. However they do enjoy heavy spell work, and some like voodoo even. Witches are practically like humans, though they can cast spells that actullay manifest, however they are a bit careless and enjoy showing their powers off, I think Salem was a huge slap to witchdoms face. The eat regular food, and drink regular drinks, though some have been know to enjoy blood from time to time. Like a human just about anything can kill them. Though they really don't like fire, or so I'm told! Additional info! Witches are another civilized race that blends in with humans with ease, some are good and don't mind humans some are indiffrent and some are evil all together. They often hang out with other witches, vampires, some shapeshifters, and their distant cousins the Sirenes and Psychics. They detest Werewolves and Faeries. Also females are often leaders and get more respect than males, males are also rarely witches, but it happens. They can live a long time if they do a few soul rejevenation rituals though most don't.

-Psychic: You're thinking of a number between one and ten, oh it's that one, I already knew that! Aw yes the Psychic, a sister to the witch, they do all the fun stuff like mind reading, future or past seeing, predicting death, moving things with their mind. They're totally the life of this little mystic party, though most Shapeshifters think of them as insufferable know it alls! (But they really are so ha!) Let's see if you can stop their brain games they're toast, sneak attacks work, not thinking, shooting one between the eyes, I mean really they're practically human! Your Psychic is another civil race that blends in with ease, unless you know what to look for that is. Additional Info! Psychics are totally besties with their family members the Witch and Sirens, they also don't mind Vampires, but really stay away from Werewolves, Shapeshifters, some Humans, and Faeries they feel there is no real value looking into such pathetic minds. Unlike they're cousin the Witch Psychics live as long as a regular old Joe, how lame!

-Siren: The gem of the east coast is this fun little race. The Siren a beautiful being who seduces others to get what they want. Although they take heavy insult to being called a Sucubi, they never eat their quarry. Usually just do a little kissy, kissy magic to have devoted servants. However Sirens aren't to be scofted at like their Sister the Witch they can do a little magic, and have been known to be medians(creepy!). How to kill these lovelies really anything will work if you can get past all the devoted followers that is. Additional info! Sirens are another well bred and civil race, however they love the company of everyone they're more easy going than their Prima Donna sister, the Witch, and a lot more chill than the headache complaining Psychic. The only things these romancers want is to rule the world through lust and beauty. Like the Witch females are the main leaders of the group though male Sirens are total scorchers on the hottie pole! Sirens like their Sister the Witch can actually live for awhile, by the good old fashion youth and rejevenation spell. However when one uses this they actually become a sub human for a bit.(Make sure to ask them about the Faeries exsistance!)

-Human: High ho the regular folks a go! Yes as we seem to be winding down our civilized races, we end with the humans, they are well human normal average, though some are a bit above avarege, but they like to keep that a secret. Hmm, besides hitting them with a pillow just about everything kills the children of Eve. Additional info! Well they have jobs, and are for the most part unaware of the mystical beings around them, perhaps if they weren't always glued to that cellphone, iPod, or computer they'd see that they're about to get snacked on by a Vampie!

-Faerie: Another East Coast gem! The Fae, or Faeries are a race of short people, they have wings, and can control things like elements, they come in many varities like Fire, Water, Earth, Plant, Light, Dark, Ice, Metal, Rock, Spirit. They're actually a Witch in short form and wings.(It's a long story the witches want to forget about.) Your avaerage trained Faerie can blend in pretty well with humans however they're a little on the immature side. Faeries die saddly as easily as they're secret relative, though ones of the element stand point really don't like their weakness. (I.E. chucking a Fire Faerie in a river isn't nice) They're civilized for the most part, but hate civilization. Additional info! Besides being the bastard child of a Siren/Witch/Human the Faeries don't really hang around other Mystics they're pretty timid, though older ones have been known to be more social and easier to fool the other races into them thinking they're a Witch. They can do a little spell work themselves. Also the element ones can manefest into their elemental state if they want, and can live up to a sold 500 years of age. (And don't even get wrinkles!)

-Werewolves: I mean really come on if we have Vampires, we gotta have Werewolves. Werewolves are well, not civil. They can become civilzed, but really they are generally men, defininetly ruled by men or the alpah. They're strong can turn into a wolf, who's pelt color depends on the person's natural hair color. They're another hardy species that really doesn't like silver, or fire. Werewolves tend to stick togther, love raw meat, or rare steak, and are often the underlings to other races, like Vampires and sometimes Witches or Sirens. Additional info! Not all Werewolves are brainless, and a large enough group can do some serious damage, they also shapeshift at will, no moonlight and magic tricks for them. They also enjoy the company of their cousin the Shapeshifter, and also have a regular human's life span. Besides fast healing, quick reflexes and speed. Strength and a hardier bone structer is about all they have going for them in powers, oh and transforming into a decent sized wolf.

-Shapeshifter: Ah yes the half to a Werewolves whole. Shapeshifters are actually pretty versitle as some are very civilized and others are completely feral. They can only change into one animal which they choose come puperty(Though rare cases some can become two, or multichange but it's pretty rare). They die a little easier than a Werewolf, but really hate silver. Shapeshifters love the company of all the other races besides Witches, they find them too prissy. Like Vampires, Humans and Faeries their ruling is straight down the middle. Additonal Info! Shapeshifters are becoming a bit more upity and don't really like taking oders from Vampires.


Information: Whoo that's a lot to take in and we haven't even made it to the rules yet! So let's face it we have our races, however in Ivyfalls there really is only two secret groups those who are trying to protect the city from destruction, and the humans from certin death. And those for Mystic rebellion and human enslavement, which side you decide to fight for is all up to you! -J

Organizations: We have the Guardians (The East coats equvilance of the Protectors), the Terrors* (The Eyno Resistance), the rest is simply netural humans and mystics your choice for their fate is yours. Anyone can join eithe group besides a human in the Terrors, that would be highly unlikely! Also the groups tend to have meetings, and some members of the Guardians live in a hideout, but the Terrors meets in a secret location only the leader knows about.
*I am in control of the Terrors leader, however someone else can be the Gurdians leader this time if they'd like. ;D

Rules, and You!

-Let's see the usual RP rules apply but I'm going to go over some that you may wonder about.
-The obvious no Bella Cullens(Marysues) I hate characters like this, and will ask you to leave if you make too many of them. I get it some people will be stronger than others, but everyone has faults.
-No godmodding, another basic rule, we don't need you abusing how amazing your character is.
-I am the control of weather, time, dates, month jumps ect. I may allow someone to do this if I can't be there.
-Make sure you put 'Never forget Rosalita Thorne', in your post before joining so I know you at least read the rules! (Bonus points if you like the way I typed up the information)
-Romance lets see PG-13 you know kissing great, but lets not go into uber detial about the other junk, mkay!
-Romance part dou! I get that so and so will fall in love, but don't make it an insta thing that is really boring, I mean you can make it were there is an attraction, but let it blossom and grow before you just decide so and so is claimed and inlove within the first two posts.
-Characters can, and will die. Though you have to ask premission to kill someone else charrie. Your charries fates are whatever you want to do with however ;D
-Please, please, please keep an even number of men and womens. Because you know 14 men hungry independant women will be killing eachother for hottie number one and two.
-Rude characters are wonderful, the bitchier the better. Just don't turn into them please, I don't want to see real fights amoung members.
-Random attacks, I'm not a fan of this. I mean if you make a character who hates humans and just randomly have them attack some thats okay, but when group A is talking and you have random crack vampire just attack them I'm not a fan, at least let some word play go along before diving in.
-Wow this is getting long make sure you have fun! I hope you enjoy this roleplay I have good feelings about it.
-Remember that Humans aren't suppose to know about the mystics (Barring Mystic hunters) so remember to be a little sneaky with your mystics if they're going to attack someone or something, or transform.

-Sidenote: Whoo those were wordy, but let me sum it up have fun, make all the drama you want, be a bit smart with the rp, so no crazy vampire just tossing cars around in broad daylight. And no OMGZ we're inlovezzzz! Either. Other than that have fun and enjoy this wild little ride. On word to the character format! -J

She hates the human race, she was once on the high council, but resigned to protect Ivyfalls from the destruction that came to Rosefalls, or that's what she said. The real reason she wanted to be in complete power of the city, and knew it would be easier to moniter all of the mystics in her fair city. She has a dark plan that is builing in strength each day, same as her powers.
Personality: On the outside kind, good natured, charismatic. Her true self, cold, ruthless, cut throat. She has what it takes to rule the human world and knows it.

Bio: Spencer's life was easy up until she was fifteen. That's when her world turned upside down. The memory still blazes bright behind her eyes. It was about ten o'clock at a night there was a loud commotion in her spacious Victorian Mansion, of course she thought burgalrs but to her horror when she went to investigate to find a filthy leech attatching his mouth on her mothers throat. She tried to fight the attacker off, but was to no success, as he kicked her into the wall. She watched through hazy eyes as her mother and father were drained of all their blood. Spencer eventually passed out. She was amazed that the vampire spared her, but he wasn't as lucky.On her ninteeth birthday she hunted him down and staked him herself. She also joined the Guardians at age sixteen, ever since she has made it her mission to erraticate all vampires.

Spencer really enjoys humans, she use to be the queen bee type of girl, but all the softness and social status became meaningless when the vampire killed her family.

Of course, non of them like him as he always ditches the next morning. The only girl he's been friends with for a long time is Mina. She's not like other girls, she's not clingy or emotional and that's why the two of them get along so well. Sam works at a local bar as a waiter, but he doesn't care for it at all.
