OOC: Basically. I feel the need to skip a head to about May. For the simple fact any plots can develop form where they were. I.E. Iris's evil plans can begin to bloom. I just don't want to skip before everyone is ready.

I never learned how to tie a tie. That was why I struggling when I had to dress up. The only reason I was even trying to look proper was because Mina wanted me to. I sighed as I tied up my tie after yet another failed attempt. I had to meet them at some fancy restaurant in thirty minutes. And by "them" I mean, Mina and her new boyfriend: George. This was the first time I was gonna meet him, but I just felt "meh" about the entire situation. I didn't even get why Mina wanted me to meet him.

ooc: We're ebil like that. MinaI got into the passenger seat of George's car and buckled myself in, before sighing and looking out the window. My boyfriend placed a hand on my shoulder comfortingly. "Are you alright?" he asked, a slight hint of worry in his voice. "You seem tense." I nodded. "Yeah... just nervous, that's all." This was the first time Sam and George had met, and I was hoping that it would go down well. Not only did I consider the former my best friend, it was his idea that I started dating again in the first place. All of my female friends just adored my boyfriend... but it was really just Sam's approval I was after. |

"Oh, c'mon," I groaned as the tie still turned around crooked. I untied it and threw it on the bed. I didn't have time for this. I ran a hand through my hair and then threw my suit jacket over my shoulder before heading out to my car. As I pulled out of the driveway I picked up my phone, opening the directions Mina had sent me. "Right by the police building and then straight forward until the butcher shop," I read out loud. Sounded pretty straight forward.

I frowned suddenly - what if Sam didn't like George at all? What if this was going to go terribly wrong? I became overwhelmed with panic, although I tried my best not to show it. If I worried, then George worried - and nothing would go right, it was a guarantee.

As soon as I got to the restaurant (well, a restaurant - I was still slightly panicked that I'd gotten to the wrong place) I quickly parked the car and rushed out. Before heading inside, I took a look at myself through the window reflection; just to make sure I looked all right. I took a look at my watch. Exactly one minute left.

The next thing I knew, George had stopped the car and took the key out of the ignition. "Mina," he spoke gently, nudging me slightly. "We're here."
"Uhuh," I answered absentmindedly, glancing around and looking for Sam's car. It was here, good. I opened the door and followed my boyfriend inside, taking his hand as we walked. If anyone could calm me, it was him.

I felt relieved when my boyfriend smiled politely and held out his hand for Sam to shake. So far, this was going really well.

I nodded, and after getting directed by the hostess, took a seat at the table. Placing the napkin on my nap and putting my purse on the ground next to me, I sat upright again. George was taking one of the chairs beside me, and I glanced over to Sam - which was when my vision began to go fuzzy, and I began to lose my senses. Oh god, not now... any time but now. Please.

I smiled automatically at the hostess. It was almost scary how easily my powers cut through humans, dazzled them you might say. But I quickly looked away from her and back to Mina and her boy.
"Drinks?" I asked them both before waving the waitress over to our table.

When the waitress got over to us, George ordered drinks for him and Mina. I rolled my eyes. Since when did Mina let people order for her. I ordered a vodka Russian for myself before looking at Mina. I excepted her to glare at me for rolling my eyes. I did not except for to fall off her chair. In a second I ran over to her, barely breaking her fall. George was, of course, too slow.
"Mina, are you okay?" I asked, despite knowing exactly what was happening to her.
