Ring, ring - it was the classic phone signal. I still hadn't gotten around to changing it yo something creative.
"This is Buddy the Elf, what's your favorite color?" I pinned my cell against my shouldee as I locked the front door.

I hit the dge of the forest near the small coffee shop where I got coffee for my boss every morning, changing back I headed towards the coffee store and opened the door smiling at Kara behind the counter "Sorry...I know im late....I woke up late....can I get two of your best halzenut coffee's with whipped cream and chocolate on the top?"

Lacy

I sat in the coffee shop watching as everyone drank thier drinks and left. Gulping the last of the coffee down and tossing the rest of my bagel in the bin I stood up and smirked "I knew it wasnt because you hit large queues at the coffee store." I chuckled at Toby's face and I smiled "It doesnt matter, your due a day off anyway...i'll take my coffee though." he jumped and smiled apologising.

I put my mug down on the table as my computer finally started. I logged in and then watched as my browser opened my latest viewed websites. Hotmail... my addiction. I scanned through my mails quickly. Spam... spam.... spam... spam... I sighed. Then I finally saw something that wasn't spam.
"Rosefalls..." I mumbled as I read the title. I clicked on the mail and saw that it was a mass mail from some old guy I didn't know. I went back to delete it along with the spam.

After Lacy left I looked around for a table to sit and wait at, all that was left was a chair opposite a lady on her laptop. I headed to her table silently and then smiled "Uh excuse me, mind if I just perch on this seat while I wait for my coffee?"

I glanced over to the guy. "Sure," I said simply before taking another rsip from my hot coco. I kept my eyes fixed on the computer screen but a nervous sensation ran through my body. I wasn't feeling very social today...

"Green, you should know that," I answered with a small smile.

Marie
I walked down the pavement, humming to myself. I hadn't felt well this morning, and a walk was just what I needed to make me feel better again. I inhaled through my nostrils, and smiled, feeling better already.

"M to the Ina, what up?" I said and smiled slightly as I waved at a cab, watching it pull over.

I got the two Hazulnut Coffees ready. I put on the whipped and chopped up some of the chocolate. I sprinkled it on top and scooted out from behind the counter. I dodged all the incoming customers. "Here ya go Toby."

Mina

"I've got the day off work, and I'm bored," I answered. "Wanna hang out or something?"

Sam

"Of course, little one," I replied. "Meet me at the coffee shop in ten?"

Mina

"More like twenty, I'm parked outside Alva's school." I pursed my lips. "She was late, again."

Sam

"Ouch, that's one rebellious kid." I shrugged, despite her not being able to see it. "Bet I can cheer you up, if you know what I mean." I chuckled.

Toby

"Thanks Kara" I smiled and took the coffees and then gave her a thirty and smiled before walking away and back to the table "Thanks for the seat."

Alice

After mumbling a disguise spell I slunk my way into the slums most werewolves loved these areas. I smiled at my reflection, I was a few inches shorter, had short jagged black hair, and plain cloths. Perfect. I headed for a small bar and decided to see what I could find.

Iris

I sighed now I knew Alice had left to find more followers, and hopefully some more secrets. I drummed my nails boredly as some useless humans babbled on wether or not we needed a new liquor store in the slums and what to do with Shady Palms the local retirement home. This couldn't get over with soon enough I thought as I rolled my eyes and sipped my drink.

Spencer

I sighed when I found just the normal drunks, but when I noticed a bum looking like he was about to leave.I thought I'd follow him. Might as well play guardian angel. I thought as I crept behind him.

Ezra

The bookstore was great, but I knew Rose was going to find me pretty soon. So I crept out the back door and decided to keep wondering for a bit, I decided the park would be a great place to go. I sat down on a quiet bench and watched the people. Some where the stupid humans, and others were mystics doing various things.

Rose

My heels clacked along on the side walk as I looked for Ezra. You've managed to escape this time brother. I thought to myself as I watched a group of human teenagers pass, some of the boys turning to stare. I tossed my hair, and decided to just give up and roam the city.

"Thanks!" I said as I startd on the next order.

Jude

After I'd left Shane, I ended up walking around town aimlessly. I really needed to find something to do. To occupy myself. Food-wise, I should be held over for another couple days, at least.

I exited the coffee store and headed further into the town keeping my head down to avoid anymore stares, however before i could look up I walked into someone "Sorry." I breathed looking up and smiling. (Jude)

Jude

"No problem," I said dismissively. A siren, huh? That was interesting. I couldn't help but wonder what her blood would taste like, but I brushed it off and sidestepped her, conitinuing my walk to nowhere in particular.

Shane

I stood up and headed out of the coffee shop, keeping my head down and keeping to myself in general, when I accidentally walked into some guy. "Ah, shit," I said, dropping the coffee I'd gotten to go.
"Sorry," the guy apologized, bending down and picking up the cup. He handed it to me with a slight smirk. "I don't think you're getting any more coffee out of there. I could buy you some, if you want, though. Since it was my fault."
I was still staring speechlessly at him, trying to place that face, those eyes, that smirk... it was all so familiar. But why?
"Um... are you alright?" he asked, arching an eyebrow at me.
"... Ryder Mastrano, right?" I guessed finally, crossing my arms.
He narrowed his eyes and did the same. "Who wants to know?"
"Shane Zachary," I said, holding a hand out to him. "Delia's little sister?" I added, wondering if that would ring a bell.
His eyes lit up in acknowledgement. "Well, you've uh..." he let out a low whistle and shook my hand, smirking slightly, "definitely grown up a bit since the last time I saw you, Shane."
"And you've gotten slightly better-looking - but not too much."
Ryder smiled faintly. "I think that was almost a compliment. I'm flattered."

I nodded and then continued walking looking down at my hands which where shaking with the coffee in my hand, shaking my head I ducked down the alleyway and started walking fast through it.

"I'm assuming that had a perverted meaning, so no thanks."

As I was tailing the homeless guy he suddenly turned around, I dove to hide behind a trash can. ''You can stop that you know," he said in a surprisingly sober voice. ''And I don't need some pesky babysitter I highly doubt a vampire would want to take a bite out of me." He added I immediately bristled. ''Fine! Enjoy being some leeches snack!" I said childishly as I stomped off. And back into the city. As I thought about what he had said I immediately became confused. But shrugged it off.

Jasper

I pulled the shabby hood tighter to me. Good now she's off my tail. I thought as I kept poking around wondering if I could find the Black Iris I hear the new secret organizations have been meeting there and wondered if I could find out what they were up to.

Alice

I got some very promising underlings in a werewolf and shapeshifter bar and decided to check around the other half of the city. I knew I only had a bout two hours before I'd need to return to the mayor's office.

"So, how have you been?" I asked Shane, putting my hands in my pockets. "Life's good?" I asked her curiously.
Shane shrugged. "I'm decent. Still alive and all that jazz."
"What about Delia?"
She looked away and went silent. I knew how that went, and I frowned. "It's okay if you don't wanna talk about it. I'm just nosy."

As I was walking down the main walk I bumped into someone (Jude). I was going to give them quite the lashing until I noticed how unhuman he was. ''Oh I'm so sorry about bumping into you." I said in a polite tone.

I stepped outside of the coffee shop, since it was starting to get crowded. There were still people outside though...

I shrugged. "It's fine, you're not the first," I said with a slight smile, taking a step away from her.

''You're telling me. It's like an idiot convention today or something," I said laughing lightly. ''I'm Rose Stormhold by the way." I added nonchalantly. As I looked up I noticed the sky darken as thick clouds rolled in.

I sighed as I walked to a coffee shop, it was getting cold and I wanted a nice french vanilla cappuccino, I got my drink then left the shop to sip it and walk.

I stepped past some other girl (Spencer), trying to get out of the morning's chaos. Maybe I'd open my own coffee shop... It seemed like an active business.

I noticed another blonde, being a mythic hunter and watcher I immediately knew she was a siren. I looked her up and down, something about her I didn't quite like, and I knew it wasn't something petty like her being prettier than me. Maybe old Spencer would have cared. But not me I debated throwing my cup on her just to see if she'd fight me. I decided to let her go on her way and sipped my drink.
