"Kara!" I heard behind me. I cringed, knowing what hat meant.
"Yes sir?"
"You realize you are an hour late?"
"Sorry sir!" I thought of a lie quickly "My mother called and was sick, so I had to stay over at her apartment last night and it's halfway across town."
He scowled. "Don't let it happen again!"
"Yes sir!" I breathed out a sigh of relief when I saw him turn away. Ugh, I hated this job. Stupid humans.

OOC: Oh, I see, I see. xD Sorry, apparently I didn't read the rules very thoroughly.

Jude

"You realize I don't drink coffee, yes?" I asked Shane, following her into the coffee store reluctantly. "I much prefer... hmm... other substances," I remarked, staring at her wrist. The veins.
She turned to briefly shoot me a glare. "Yeah, well, I doubt they sell your drink of choice here."
"Why would I buy it when I could get it from them for free?" I asked innocently.
Shane's eyes went wide. "I swear to the big dude in the sky, Jude, if you even think - "
"Oh, calm down, child. I'm much more in control than that," I told her with a roll of my eyes.
She didn't seem very convinced, but she left me alone to go and order herself a coffee anyways. Shapeshifters. Shane wasn't usually uptight, but apparently my bloodsucking remarks put her on edge.

Ryder

I heard knocking on the door from my room, and I debated just leaving it. But, since I was the only one here, I decided it was probably Spencer, and I should probably get up to let her in. I sighed and lay there for a moment before getting out of bed and pulling some jeans on, then heading down the stairs. She'd survive if I wasn't wearing a shirt. Maybe be even more scarred for life than usual, but she'd survive. Besides, I could just put one on later. I looked through the peephole and smirked slightly. "Magic password?" I asked her teasingly.

Arielle

I yawned slightly, annoyed by all the sunlight coming in the window. It was a little late to go back to bed, so I crawled out of it to get dressed. After picking out something casual yet revealing, I headed outside to the coffee shop.

[Callie]

OOC: She could totally try to recruit Jude! O: That'd be interesting.

Shane

I quickly got my coffee, then joined Jude at one of the booths, narrowing my eyes and surveying him. He looked amused. "Relax, Shane, I'm not going to drain anyone. No matter it would be fun right at the moment..."
"Jude..." I groaned.
"Shane..." he groaned back.
Jude was cool most of the time, but other times, I really just wanted to burn him.

Arielle

I stepped inside, not recognizing anybody. "I'll have a mocha cappuchino, double the espresso," I told the waitress absentmindedly.

I looked around at all the people who were out for coffee this morning. ugh... It was gonna be a long day. A lady walked up to me. "That all?"

Spencer

''Hmmm, let's see," I said in a cutesy voice as I placed a finger to my chin and thought. ''Open the door, or I'll kick your ass. Does that work for you sweetums?" I cooed, and batted my eyelashes at the peephole.

Rose

I sighed as I finished my drink, and Ezra dazed off. I crumpled it up and threw it at a random girl, who turned around angrily and glared at me. Until she notice that she was a rather average looking human, than she backed down immediately I smiled sweetly at her, before looking back at Ezra. ''So are you even thinking or, are you simply doing what you always do and let your brain rest?" I teased. He shot me a look and said, ''Do you ever wonder what happened to Rosefalls?" I rolled my eyes, before flagging down one of the waitresses to fetch me another drink. ''You and I both know that it is nothing more than a fairytale, why?" I asked. ''Just wondering if it was real, or if whoever our great uncle Apollo was." I cackled lightly. ''He was probably the black sheep and no one wants to talk about it. He probably married a human." I said shuddering slightly. ''So do you know what you're going to do today?" Ezra asked me bored as he stirred his black coffee, and messed with a bagel. ''Probably cause some trouble, then shop." I said cooly as I snatched the drink away from the incompetent waitress. Just as I was about to get up to use the restroom a screaming human toddler bumped into another waitress who split two hot lattes all over me. I let out a primal shriek. ''ARE YOU KIDDING ME!"

Ezra

I sighed as my sister went ballistic on one of the human waitresses, I may not like humans but I had a soft spot for the ones Rose gets mad at. I decided now would be the best time to slip away from my mom away from mom.

Iris

I sighed in frustration as I finished more paper work. And prepped for a city council meeting. ''Alice, why don't you be a dear and fetch me a coffee." I said politely to my purple haired secretary and personal assistant. And in an instant Alice was gone, off to visit Steams and Creams my most favorite coffee and doughnut shop.

I couldn't help but laugh at the girl who screamed, "Well, that's one way to have your coffee..."

Toby

I ran through the forest at the back of my home, I was already late for work and I knew my car was in the shop so taking a gamble I was running in wolf hoping that nobody would find me or see me.

Lacy

My hair whipped about my face as I headed down the street and into my local coffee shop, I smiled at some of the guys as they looked in my direction however I wasnt ready to recieve thier attentions till i'd drank some coffee and had a bagal or something.

Jude

"Aww, see, things are getting interesting even without me," I told Shane with a small smile; she just rolled her eyes at me.
"Would you at least try to behave?"
I looked at her innocently. "I'm behaving so far."

Ryder

I chuckled and opened the door. "That's not very nice, Spence. You shouldn't threaten the guy that just woke up. Besides, you couldn't kick my ass anyways," I said, fondly ruffling her hair and grinning at her.

[Louise]

Mina

After driving for about 20 minutes and listening to Alva ramble on and on about what's been happening in school lately, we eventually arrived. I parked the car and got out, waiting for my sister to do the same. "Hurry up," I complained, poking out my tongue at her playfully. She imitiated my expression, then got out of the car.

Alva

I wanted to just get to class, but Mina dragged me to the administration. She wanted to make sure that I wouldn't get to trouble for being late, and be accussed of skipping class or something. I tried to protest, but she wouldn't listen.
Once we got inside, my sister walked to the front desk. "I just want you guys to know that Alva Petersen is running late today." I rolled my eyes at her, then shook my head.
The receptionist handed a notebook to her. "Sign her in, and she can go to class."
Mina did such, then turned to face me. "Okay, vamoose."
I smirked. "Will do, boss. Cya later." With that, I walked out of the room and off to class.

I switched my bag to my other shoulder as I entered the coffee shop. My eyes locked at the only available table inside as I swiftly moved toward it. I put my computer bag on the table, marking my territory. I approached the cashier with a smile.
"A hot chocolate, please," I said kindly. I felt slightly stupid for ordering coco in a coffee shop, but I just couldn't get myself to liking the bitter-energy-rush that they could coffee.

Sam

As I got out of the shower, the girl was gone. As a protest she hadn't done the dishes. I chuckled under my breath. Silly humans.

"Kay," I sighed and put the pot of hot milk. I chopped up the baking milk chocolate and melted it into the boiling milk. I stirred it until it was creamy. I turned to the girl who had ordered it. "Would you like cinnamon in it?"

I bit my lip as I silently debated in my head. "Sure," I finally decided. "Go for it." As I said so, I handed her the proper amount of cash along with a little tip.

"Thanks!" I smiled. I stirred in the cinnamon and poured the coco into a cup. "Here ya go!" I said cheerfully while I handed it to her

"Thank you," I replied, smiling back. I grabbed my coco and went back to my table, seeing my computer bag waiting for me. I put down my mug and opened the bag, pulling out a laptop. I sipped my hot chocolate as I waited for the computer to boot.

Well at least I got a tip and a nice customer. I sighed and staarted on the pot of hazelnut coffee.

Shane

I rolled my eyes again. "Emphasis on the 'so far'," I pointed out to him.
Jude just shrugged, unconcerned with anyone but himself yet again.

Rose

I was to angry to feel embarrassed at some of the people, who weren't human who were smirking or chuckling. Instead I stormed off to the bathroom, and murmured a drying spell. Then breezed out of the shop without paying. I noticed the waitress glaring at me through he window and merrily smirked as the coffee in her hand exploded. I blew her an air kiss before stomping off to my black Audi.

Ezra

I chuckled to myself at Rose's bad temper before unbuttoning my coat, it was surprisingly pleasant for December. I decided to maybe check out one of my favorite bookstores I could use a little quiet and well read humans were better than the caffeine crazed ones any day.

Alice

I waited patiently in line, but on my way in I noticed a rather distressed girl with brunette hair who was obviously a witch as she made one of the waitress' coffee cups explode. I smiled to myself as I watched her clean up the mess.

Spencer

I smiled at Ryder, ''Oh I don't know about that Ry I'm pretty sure I could take you." I said as I sat down on his bed. ''So have you heard of any strange activity lately?" I asked him. I had heard some murmurs of a psychic, and some secret mystic group but nothing major.

"You believe what you want, Spence," I said breezily, grabbing a shirt off the floor and pulling it over my head. "Nah, not really. Well, except for these mysterious bodies that have been drained of their blood. Thought you might like to know that one. And the police are covering it up. Usually it's just hobos, though - people no one would really miss. Kind of sneaky. For a bloodsucking monster, at least."

"Sherry! Are you okay?" It was a witch and I knew it. I ran over to Sherry, who was the managers wife, was covered in scalding hot coffee.
She was embaressed and looked on the verge of tears. I helped her clean everything up. "Go back and clean up, I can handle the counter." I said as she went to the back.
"Who's next to order?" I asked the line of people

My eyes hardened for a moment. ''You're right that is interesting." I plucked a nonexistent piece of lint off my sweater. ''Well looks like I have some community hours coming up at the old homeless shelter." I added with a bit of a laugh as I got up. ''And what are you going to do all day?" I asked smiling slightly. ''Though if you ask real nice I'll kick your ass for free." I added laughing lightly.

Alice

''I need one french vanilla nonfat cappuccino with a double shot of expresso." I said to the font at the front counter.

Ezra

As I entered the story I enjoyed the smell of old books, and coffee. I walked causally over to the wiccan section funny how the faux magic books had some truths to them. I plucked one out of the vast shelfs and began looking through it smiling at some of the suggested spells.

Rose

I gunned it to the Saint Rose Mall. I smiled to my self nice of humans to realize I'm a saint. I thought as I got out of the Audi and walked into the mall and looked through various stores.

Jasper

I was frowning at some of the news I had heard. There were more hobos reported missing. Although it wasn't breaking human news the mystic who was doing it may want to be careful if not wanting to find a stake in their heart. I winced as I stepped outside. Although the clouds were beginning to roll in I wasn't a fan of the sun's rays I decided to head to a nice quiet pub until sun down.

Ryder

"Me?" I shrugged and got up, too. "Not a clue. May just explore all day, look for trouble and such. Well, until the dogs come out to play, of course," I said with a sly smile.

Shane

I finished off my coffee and looked pointedly at Jude. "Try to stay out of trouble?" I asked. The guy was the closest thing I had to a friend these days, even if he was busy being an ass most of the time.
He rolled his eyes and got up. "I'll be fine, sweetheart. I've been taking care of myself for a long time now, I assure you I can keep it up," Jude said in that breezy tone of his before walking out of the shop.

''At least that will be fun, I better find a leech I fear my stake is getting dull," I said feigning horror.

[Callie]

Ryder

"That would be pretty horrible," I agreed with a nod. "Have fun finding your bloodsucker, sis," I said with a wink.

''Thanks, maybe I'll find a nice little nest of them bro." I said sticking my tongue out at Ryder before heading back outside. I hopped on my motorcycle and drove off to an area near the disappearing hobos.

I smiled and headed out the door after her, looking around before heading off to walk around, bored.

I surveyed the scene there were some drifters in drunken heaps. How are the cops so stupid not to notice the no blood at the murder? I asked my self as I kicked a box out of my way. I sighed as I found no trace of the vampire. Maybe the Phoggy Doggy pub would have some low lifes. I thought as I marched towards the pub.

Rose

After rifling through the designer cloths I was bored, and decided to load it in the Audi drive home then go out for a walk. After leaving my things with the help I decided tracking down Ezra might not be a bad idea.

Iris

I looked down at my watch. 10:07, where the hell is Alice? I asked myself as my scared assistant's assistant placed the wrong drink on my desk. I rolled my eyes and stomped off the the board meeting.

Alice

I snatched the drink from the waitress and marched back to town hall. I handed Iris the cup, she immediately forgave me, as she then sighed and walked into the board meeting. I decided looking for some recruits could be fun and slipped out of town hall.

Mina

Well, now what? I walked out of the school and to my car, then fiddled through my purse. Once I found my mobile, I dialed Sam's number and placed it to my ear. I prayed that he wasn't 'entertaining'.

I finished the orders and the line finally died down. I sat back on a chair and sighed.
