ooc: careers will have a better chance of winning, as they come from a richer district, and often have skills that are required, e.g. strength, cunning, agility. Also because they are a richer district, they often get more gifts in the arena, and more sponsors.

"Welcome to the first annual Hunger Games!" a loud voice boomed. I cringed where I stood, but dead afraid to move. They said if we took a step before it was time, we'd be blown up. I tensed however, ready to run for my life, knowing I'd be going down the moment I tried to take something out of the Cornocopia.

Anvl
I cracked my knuckles, waiting. I'd beat anybody out of my way to get that taser gun I saw up ahead. It could do some serious damage; I could shock somebody into unconsciousness with it, then steal their supplies. My mind raced ahead, tensed and ready.

Bead
My first thought was to get that anouncer to shut up. I was eyeing the switchblade up there. Easy to carry and easier to conceal. Man, They really gave you time to think.

Corydon
I was scared. no, TERRIFIED. I Didn't want to die! I was too young! Should I skip the supplies or not? This was too hard. I was gonna die. Maybe I should just run for it

Psyche
I crouched, ready to run, grab what I needed, and get to safety. I couldn't muck up this first bit without risking the rest of the games. Any second now...

Deen

I was the youngest. Maybe they would think I was a weakling and pick off a few others before coming for me. I wanted a chance to say goodbye to the world. I didn't want to die quickly. I would grab something, a weapon, food, anything. Any moment, I had to be prepared to run.

Ebony

I was scared, I didn't hide that. I was going to grab a weapon, and fight. I wasn't going to die without a fight.

Juniper
I didn't hear it, only registered the fact that my pod had been opened. I dashed out, heart pounding, and grabbed an orange backpack full of medical supplies and food. I slung it over my shoulder and grabbed a tranquilizer gun near it, then took off for the forest.

Anvl
I growled as I ran out. I instantly grabbed the taser gun, and whipped around to taser the District 8 boy who had reached for it too. I grabbed a Swiss Army knife as well and started to take off toward the way the sun was rising.

Deen

I dashed towards the supplies, grabbing whatever I could reach. A couple of knives, and a green backpack full of something I didn't look at. I lost my focus as the district 8 boy died. I stopped for a moment, horrified somebody could kill thoughtlessly like that.

Ebony

I stumbled, confused for a moment, going from the silence of the tube to the arena in a moment. I snatched an axe, holding it at arms length as I checked around me.

I grabbed a random bag, and a bow and container of arrows before running for cover in the woods, trying to get as far away as possible.

Bead
I ran and grabbed a bag of supplies and picked up a switch blade and some brass knuckles too. I also slid an extra dagger into my bag before running off into the woods

Corydon
The door opened and I ran. I grabbed a bag but no weapon. Probably wasn't a good idea, but I didn't want to die yet. I ran and ran. Deeper int the woods till I couldn't hear anyone anymore

Personality: Ruthless, aggressive. He's "In it to win it." He doesn't always tell the truth either. But he has a soft spot for his brother.
Bio: When Artan's 14 year old brother was chosen for the Hunger Games he didn't hesitate it step in. Artan knew his brother didn't have a chance at winning the games and also wanted to protect his brother.

I took off from my space around Cornucopia quickly. I headed in to the supplies piled in the middle of our circle. I grabbed a large backback and swung it in to my back. Than I grabbed a large knife on the ground and looked around at my enemies.

Ebony

I took a swing at a boy (Artan) who was grabbing supplies. He looked slightly older than me. Still too young to die. I let my hands fall to my sides. This was what the Capital had done to me. Made me a murderer.

I saw a girl swing for me and ducked, though not quick enough. Her axe sliced my side but I pushed the pain out of my mind. I wasn't going to die, not on the first day. I lunged forward at the girl with my knife. Than, I ran out of the mess at Cornucopia, avoiding more battle. I had a weapon, I had a pack. Now I need shelter.
