[Callie]

OOC: I never said I hated you.

Alexei

"Maybe... it's not," I said gently. "You could adopt."

Taryn

I pouted at him. "Asshole," I muttered, sulking.

Dice

I lifted my head up and grinned at his expression. "It wouldn't work. The asthma attack, I mean. They wouldn't believe you."

[Louise]

Margit

I frowned. "I wouldn't want to adopt on my own."

[Callie]

Alexei

I threw my hands in the air and fell back on the bed. "I don't know, then, Margit." Of course I wanted to volunteer to adopt with her, but I couldn't. I wouldn't be there to take care of the kid; it would be pointless.

[Louise]

Margit

I sighed. "I give up," I said bitterly, crossing my arms. "I can grow old with my 20 cats or something, since I'm never going to have anything that I want in life." I hated this job, and I knew it. If I had remained a blood whore, I wouldn't have to worry about any of this shit. But no, I wanted to make my life "worthwhile", so I trained to be a guardian. Only now, I regretted it.

Elijah

"Sure about that?" I asked, returning her grin. I was pretty good at getting out of things, if I really wanted to.

[Callie]

Alexei

I frowned and sat next to her, kissing her on the cheek. "Margit..." I trailed off; I didn't know what to say. I'd have to quit my job to help her take care of a kid, and that meant leaving Damon and Rosetta unprotected. I couldn't do that. Unless... "Margit, how would you feel about asking to switch positions? Like... guarding Damon and Rosetta?" Right? That could work. If we both guarded Damon and Rosetta, we could try to raise a kid together.

Dice

I nodded. "Yep, pretty sure. Did you forget that Moroi rarely get sick and they certainly don't have asthma?" I asked him with a small smirk.

[Louise]

Margit

"Do you think they'll let me, though?"

[Callie]

Alexei

"Of course. You're Rosetta's little sister, and Damon's whipped, so all Rosetta has to do is give the say-so. Besides, they have one less guardian since Jaimie works here now," I told her confidently.

[Louise]

ooc: Damon is whipped.

Margit

I smiled slightly. "Okay. But I'll ask later, because I'm exhausted and you have a job to do," I told Alexei, nodding thoughtfully.

[Ashley (;]

Elijah

"Damn us and our perfectness!" I remarked, sitting back in my chair.

[Callie]

Dice

I just laughed and stood up as the bell, signaling lunch, rang. "Finally. Something interesting," I remarked, grabbing my books and shoving them into my bag, which I slung over my shoulder.
On his way out of the room, Sin stopped next to me and smiled charmingly. "I don't suppose you'd think about being my lunch date?"
"I think you'll have more luck asking one of the humans you're biting the neck of," I said mildly.
He grinned at me. "But they're not as pretty as you are."
"Hasn't stopped you before, has it?"
Sin opened his mouth to speak, but then just shook his head and walked off. Honestly, I hadn't even meant it that way, but if it got him to leave me allone, I wasn't exactly going to be picky.

Alexei

I groaned. "Right. I'm late. Not that I mind, after that. But still." I sighed softly, kissed her lightly on the cheek, and walked out to the door to my post.

[Ashley (;]

Elijah

"Why is that guy so set on following you around all day?" I asked, raising an eyebrow as he walked off.

[Callie]

Dice

I shrugged. "I guess I'm just so irresistably sexy that he can't stay away," I said wryly.

Jaimie

"Ooh, lunch. Thank God; I'm starved," I muttered, heading off to the main building.

Christian

"I'll beat you there," I told Adrian with a grin.

[Louise]

ooc: That awkward moment when Alexei forgets to put on clothes.

Margit

I smiled slightly, then rolled over and closed my eyes. By the sounds of it, things were changing for the better.

Renee

I stopped in my tracks as my vision began to blur, and I blinked a couple of times to get back in focus. When it did focus, however, I wasn't in St. Vladimir's anymore. In fact, I was home. I could see things through Mum's eyes, which was strange, yet it occured so often that I was now used the idea of 'spying' on her everyday activities. Although, no one knew about this except for her and I, she told me at a young age never to speak of it to anyone. She said that it was best if I didn't utter a single mention about my 'gift' to no one; not a single soul. I kept my word.
She was sitting in her and Dad's bed, snug under the covers. She was alone, but content of this, as she had her nose stuck in a book. I recognized the text almost immediately - she was reading my favourite poem as a child, Le Vampire. I knew that villanelle off by heart... Toi qui, comme un coup de couteau, dans mon coeur plaintif es entree...
Mum stopped reading suddenly, and cleared her throat. Suddenly, she felt uncomfortable, and her throat felt rasp. She coughed hoarsly a few times, and her eyes widened with horror as she noticed blood on the page that she was reading. She pushed the book aside and jumped out of bed, running to the ensuite. "Damon!" Mum called anxiously, grabbing for the tissue box by the sink. She frowned when it was empty, and began to search again - but she stopped when her breathing began to feel weak. Still coughing, she slowly stumbled over to the toilet - where she coughed so hard, she vomited crimson red into the bowl.
I was worried, and I tried desperately to get out of her mind - but it was a struggle.

OOC: ... We'll say he remembered. xD By the way, I totally just remembered that Trent doesn't know that Damon and Jaimie are bonded. o.O

Damon

I looked up from the french book I was trying to decode in the living room. "Rose?" I called, dropping it to the ground and running to the bathroom. My eyes widened as she vomited red into the bowl. That obviously wasn't good. "What..." I decided Rose probably knew what she needed better than I did. "What do you need?" What I really wanted to ask was how the hell do I make it stop?

[Louise]

ooc: Does that mean that Jamie gets to see through Damon's mind again?

Renee

"I don't know," Mum replied, before vomiting yet again. She turned and looked at Dad in desperation; she felt hurt and she didn't know what to do. Her head began to feel faint, and everything around her spun...
The next thing I knew, everything was black.
Well shit, this wasn't good, was it? I was still stuck in Mum's mind, and she had passed out. I felt fucking blind. I stood up and began to walk (despite the fact I didn't know where I was), just hoping the circulation would snap me back.
However, suddenly everything stopped.

ooc: My guess is that she... fell down the stairs and landed awkwardly. /guestimation

[Callie]

OOC: She's learned to control that, for the most part. And Schuyler will find Renee eventually.

Damon

I leaned into Rose, panicking. What did I do, what did I - idiot. I put my hand over her heart and concentrated really hard, attempting to heal her. After a while, I began to feel weak, and reluctantly pulled my hand away, hoping, praying, wishing for her to wake up.

Jaimie

I stopped abruptly on my way to get some lunch. The ghosts were back, and they were yelling, shouting, screaming at me. It made me feel dizzy, but it also made me want to hurt someone. Really bad. The next thing I knew, I'd collapsed on the sidewalk.

[Louise]

ooc: It's like a mass death at the moment, with everyone collapsing suddenly and all.

Rosetta

I coughed and spluttered like it was going out of fashion, then groaned and reluctantly opened my eyes. My stomach was in immense pain; it was like someone was repeatedly stabbing me with a knife. The only other way I could explain it (hey, I was sick, don't blame me) was that it felt like going in to labour, and I thought that was extremely innapropriate for this context.

[Callie]

Damon

"Rose?" I asked quietly, leaning against the wall next to her. I hadn't ever felt this weak before.

[Ashley (;]

Elijah

"Well, I wouldn't disagree," I told her with a grin, walking out of the classroom.

Adrian

I grinned back as an agreement, then took off running for the cafeteria.

Trent

I watched Jaimie pass out, and ran across the courtyard at full speed, picking her up gently. What was even wrong?! She was still breathing, which was at least a good sign. "Jaimie?" I mumbled softly. If she didn't wake up...

[Callie]

Dice

I just laughed. "Should've known I was setting myself up for that one."

Christian

"Cheater!" I yelled, running after him. I slowed to a stop when I saw Mom and... Dad. "What happened?" I asked with wide eyes.

[Ashley (;]

Elijah

"Yeah, you kind of did," I remarked, still grinning.

Trent

"I don't know!" I replied frantically as Adrian came over with the Drozdov girl.
"Do you want me to go get a nurse?" she asked.
"No, Moroi aren't anywhere near as fast," I muttered, "Adrian, get the nurse!" He nodded and took off.

Alexis Shay

I stared at him in disbelief for a minute, before taking off to find Dice and Elijah.

[Louise]

Rosetta

"Damon," I breathed, covering my mouth with my hand as I hacked up a lung. "I've never felt this sick before. Ever."

[Callie]

Damon

"I don't know what to do, Rose. I've never felt this weak before," I whispered, glancing over to her and frowning slightly.

Christian

"This hasn't happened before," I muttered, shaking my head and thinking. My eyes widened. "Maybe... maybe it's a side effect?" I wasn't sure if I was talking to Dad or myself.

Dice

"I think I want actual people food today," I said randomly. "Like... pancakes. Not blood."

[Louise]

Rosetta

I also frowned, when suddenly I felt a sharp blow to my stomach and chest. I screamed and curled into a ball on the ground. My breathing was suddenly becoming very sharp and hoarse, and, to be honest, I was scared shitless. I didn't want to die; I didn't want Damon to have to face with me turning Strigoi. And I certainly didn't want Renee to face the world alone... not yet, anyway. I was worried that if our bond broke, she'd go mad.

[Callie]

OOC: Psh. What about your other two children, Rosetta? I sense favoritism! xD

Damon

"No!" I shouted when Rose let out a scream. I couldn't keep myself from letting my arm go forward to her to heal her some more. It didn't matter how weak I felt, I couldn't let Rose keep hurting like this.

Jaimie

I couldn't see, but that didn't matter. I could feel, and boy, did I feel. Feel the ghosts pressing down on me; attacking me. They were swiping at my face, my legs, my arms, anywhere they could get at. I tossed and turned, biting back a scream. I wouldn't give them the satisfaction of letting them hear me in pain. They'd have to kill me first.

[Louise]

ooc: She's got 3 other children, actually. And When's Shadow coming?

Rosetta

I bit my tongue and squinted my eyes shut as I tried my best not to shriek. God, it hurt.

[Ashley (;]

Trent

"A side effect?" I asked incredulously. "She's doing drugs?!"

Elijah

I glanced at her with a slightly weird look, "... Why?"
"What about blood?" Alexis Shay asked, coming up from behind us.

[Callie]

OOC: ... Right. And right.

Damon

"Please," I whispered, praying for it to hurry up and work.

Schuyler

I was walking off to find the lunchroom, when I passed a flight of stairs, and saw Renee passed out at the bottom of them. I knelt down next to her and felt her wrist for a pulse. There was one, thankfully. I picked her up and headed off to find the infirmary instead.

Christian

I shook my head. "No, of the bond. When she was younger, apparently she died. And Damon brought her back to life with his powers. Or something like that. Usually she just gets really angry, but this could be a side effect, too." I looked up. Where was Adrian with that nurse?!

Dice

I shrugged. "I just do." I looked over to Alexis. "We were discussing the benefits of blood versus syrup on pancakes. Only not really."

[Louise]

Rosetta

I screamed again, and looked up to Damon. "Please, stop," I pleaded. "You're making it worse."

Renee
