I nodded, though I myself was freaked out by the idea of it. "She appears to be doing all right."

"But she was dead. How does that even - ... Sheridan," I said her name in a whisper. It could've happened, couldn't it? Sherri had never demonstrated any powers before, and she hadn't been anywhere nearby when her mother died... Maybe she healed Julian, brought her back to life.

"Of course! She's supposed to have powers, isn't she? Maybe she's some sort of healer or something."

OOC: Er...I don't remember what was going on with you and Kitt...but there was a huge fight between the Resistance and the king's soldiers, and the soldiers took Daemon, Keira, and Sheridan back to the palace. =3

OOC: Sheridan was the little girl Julian was taking care of after Sherri's mum got killeded... Mika and Nate were sort of just... wandering... and now... *is unsure of what to do* 'sup to you.

I reached for Nate's arm. "What the hell's happening?" I asked.

OOC: I'm confused but I will figure it out.

I looked at Mika, a little confused. "What do you mean?"

"Do all children her age have powers that strong?" I asked. "I mean, being able to bring somebody back from the dead...you've got to have a lot of power to do that."

OOC: I hate you so much. T_T I can't even get it until I get iTunes money! Or money in general!

Mercedes

I blinked, this not having really registered before. "I... No, they... shouldn't. It usually takes a while for powers to develop and get stronger, and Sherri's only... 3?"

I was no Martian, but I could tell this was a big deal. My eyes widened slightly. "Why do you think her powers are so developed?"

I swallowed, shaking my head. The fleeting sick, dizzy feeling had passed. "I- I'm fine now..." I murmured, forcing a little smile now that the world was spinning normally.

"Are you gonna be okay?" I could tell something was bothering her

I shrugged. "I have no idea. Julian might know, but other than that... no one else would. Except maybe her dad. God knows where he is, though." I'd heard from Julian about the guy that had knocked her sister up and run away.
She hadn't sounded very pleased about it.

I closed my eyes and ran a hand through my hair, sighing. "I... I hope so." I whispered eventually.

I snorted. Dead-beat dad. Typical. "Looks like you Martians go through situations just like us too."

Mercedes

I smiled faintly. "I guess so." Julian was probably our only choice at finding something out, though, and she was going back and forth, all around the room, tending to people. I pushed myself up and swung my legs off the bed. "We should ask her. Julian's the only one that might know anything."

Nate

I didn't know much about what was happening. So this really worried me. "Me too. If anythings wrong, don't hesitate to tell me."

Mika

I nodded slightly, kissing him gently. "Yeah. I will." My breath was quick and nervous, but I still smiled at him, forcing myself not to make things worse for him.

OOC: Imma assume they're still at that place where the rebels were.....

Nate

I kissed her back and the looked around. "It's been awfully quiet around here."

"We are, technically, in a war zone now..." I almost whispered, almost scared now I thought about it.

I stood up quickly, standing closely by her. I was hesitant to let her walk around incase she fainted or possibly had a dizzy spell. "You sure you're feeling okay, though?" I asked.

Mercedes

I nodded. "Not dead yet... not like some people we know probably should be," I remarked with a slight smile.

I chuckled and shook my head. "Okay. But I'm here if you need me."

"Thanks," I said with a small smile. Then I took a few more steps and didn't fall, so that was good. But I didn't really want to disturb Julian while she was whizzing around and making sure her people didn't die...

I slowly followed her, keeping close to her side just incase she really did need me. She stopped, and I looked down at her. "Problem?"

"Well... she's helping people. I don't wanna screw her up or something," I murmured, yawning a bit. "And I'm kinda tired. Apparently passing out doesn't make you any less sleepy."
