[Callie]

Sheridan

After a minute, I stopped giggling and let out a wail. "Auntie Julian!" I cried, seeing her on the floor. I was still a kid, but even I understood that she was probably dead. I squirmed against the guy, trying to get him to let me down.

Keira
"Stop that," the soldier growled, though his brow furrowed in confusion at the term Sherri had used. A bunch of soldiers picked Daemon and I up, and the rest of the soldiers followed suit, leaving hundreds of Resistance people dead. I stared up at Parker in vain as they hauled us away.

[Callie]

Parker

I ditched the machinegun and ran down the stairs for the door, but Mercedes stopped me, shaking her head. "They won't hurt her. We'll get her back somehow. We try now, though, we're dead."
I just glared at her, though I knew she was right. So I watched while they hauled Keira and Daemon away.

Sheridan

After a lot of squirming, I managed to get out of the scary man's arms and I ran back to Auntie Julian, sitting by her and holding her hand. I wanted my mommy. I wanted Auntie Julian to come back. And then, she was breathing! And she was sitting up and looking real confused. Then she stood up and leaned down to me. "Go back, Sherri. Princess Keira will take care of you," she whispered, pushing me gently back to Keira. I stared at her, confused, but ran back to Keira and the scary man, grabbing the bottom of Keira's dress and burying my face in it. I still wanted Mommy. I didn't wanna be scared anymore.

Keira
I gaped at Julian, wondering how she was alive and why she had sent Sherri back to me when she could have stayed with her.
"Do we really have to carry you both, or can you walk for yourselves?" the solder leading us asked gruffly.
"We'll...we can walk. We won't try to leave," I whispered, and the golden robes fell, dull, onto the ground. I picked up Sherri carefully as we began the walk to the castle. "Listen, Sherri," I whispered. "These men don't know who you are, and if they knew who your real mommy was, then they might hurt you. Can you pretend that I'm your mommy for now, please?" I said this all quickly and quietly, hoping Sheridan would grasp what I was saying.

Sheridan

I nodded slowly, hugging her leg. "I'm scared, Mommy," I said, sort of quiet, but loud enough so the scary men would hear me. Maybe I would see Mommy wherever they were taking us?

Mercedes

I looked back over to Julian in incredulity. How was she breathing? I'd just seen her... die! And now she was standing and breathing and... I could hardly comprehend it. So it wasn't really all that surprising when I fainted.

OOC: How is she hugging her leg if Keira picked her up? o.O

Keira
"We'll be fine, Sherri, don't worry," I murmured, though I also made it sound louder.

Marcus
"Merecedes?!" I called to her frantically, running over to her side. "Hey. Wake up," I whispered, shaking her very gently.

OOC: ... Because Callie is a bad reader.

Sheridan

"Okay," I murmured.

Julian

I knelt down next to Mercedes and the guy I still didn't know the name of. "You should take her to the infirmary," I advised him, pointing the way with my finger before standing up and adding to myself in an undertone, "And I should look for anyone that still has a pulse so they can go to the same place."

Marcus
I blinked at Julian, still shocked myself that she was suddenly alive and well, but then nodded. I carefully lifted Mercedes up, cradling her close to my chest as I carefully picked my way around bodies and over to the infirmary.

Julian

"Yo. Mars to Loverboy," I said, waving my hand in front of Parker's face. He narrowed his eyes and looked over to me.
"What?" he snapped.
"Get over yourself for five minutes and help me keep these people from dying. I'll help you come up with a plan to get your princess back later," I told him, gesturing around at all the people. Some were still squirming around.
"She's not my princess," he mumbled, but lifted someone who was moving around up and followed Marcus to the infirmary.
"Uh huh," I said sarcastically, following suit.

Marcus
I laid Mercedes down in a makeshift bed, kneeling down beside her and waiting for somebody to come and tend to her. Keira and Daemon are gone. I could only imagine how Parker feels...I would be killing everybody if they took Mercedes.

[Callie]

Parker

I reached the infirmary first and carefully set whoever I was carrying down on a cot, then sat in the chair next to it. My head was whirling and I couldn't even think. I was surprised I'd even managed to make it here without getting lost or impaling myself on something. All I knew was that first I'd lost Calypso, and now Keira. I wasn't gonna have to handle this or get over myself. And that was because I would get Keira back. I could save her. I couldn't save Calypso.

OOC: Feel free to make a nurse or something. Parker's a bit lost in his own thoughts right now to actually notice anything. xD

OOC: But I don't know what's wrong with Mercedes. xD

[Callie]

OOC: She just got a bit overwhelmed so she passed out. xD I'd imagine that can happen when you see the woman you used to love randomly come back from the dead.

Marcus
A few nurses were going around from cot to cot, checking the victims. Finally one came over to us. "What happened?" the lady asked me.
"She just...collapsed," I told her, replaying the scene in my head.
She pressed her hand to Mercedes' forehead, then grunted. "She should be fine. I'll get her a cold rag for her forehead, but otherwise there's nothing wrong with her." The nurse did just that, and I watched her from my place next to the cot.

Parker

After I'd forced myself back to reality, I walked over to Marcus and Mercedes and stood there awkwardly. I knew Marcus and I weren't exactly the best of friends, but it seemed like he was the closest thing I had around here right now. Hell, I just wanted to be around someone I knew! "She gonna be okay?" I asked, gesturing to Mercedes.

Marcus
"Yeah, I think so," I told him, running my hand through her hair repeatedly. "She only fainted." I looked up at him. "I'm sorry. 'Bout Keira."

[Callie]

Parker

I just nodded mechanically. Ha. Pun. "We'll get her back," I said simply.

Marcus
I nodded, though I wasn't too sure. "'Course we will. That is, if she wants to."

[Callie]

Parker

I blinked. I hadn't thought about that. What if she didn't want to come back? What then? Did I just stay here and wait for her to change her mind? Did I try to figure out how to fix a ship with whatever tools the Martians had?

Marcus
"Hey, buddy," I said, calling to Parker. "I was kidding. I don't think she'd have stuck around through the past two wars if she didn't want to stay." I smiled a little for reassurance.

[Callie]

Parker

"Well, I did kind of guilt-trip her into it... but thanks, at any rate. I know you saw her first," I told him with a small smirk.

Marcus
I smirked back, but then I raised an eyebrow. "How did you guilt her into staying?"

[Callie]

Parker

"Can't remember exactly, but I'm pretty sure I used the 'dead sister' card." Did Marcus even know my sister was dead? Did he even remember her? She'd been talking to him when I popped up, but... Did he even know she was my sister?

Marcus
"Sister?" I asked, confused. None of us had ever really talked about our personal lives before, but I wondered why Keira would be so easily guilted just because Parker's sister was dead.

[Callie]

Parker

"She died in the fight. You were talking to her when we'd just crashed."

Marcus
I blinked. "Oh." The...orange haired girl? "Oh. I'm so sorry," I said sincerely.

[Callie]

Parker

I just shrugged; I didn't want to talk about it. "I should see if Julian needs help with anything," I muttered, walking over to her, where she was talk-yelling to/at the nurses.

Mercedes

I blinked a few times to get everything into focus, then tried to sit up. I immediately went back down when everything got dizzy again. "What happened?" I murmured, wondering if there was anyone nearby.

I stopped moving my hand, but I kept my hand in her hair. "You fainted," I told her softly.

I scrunched my face up, trying to remember what could've caused that. Then my eyes got wide. "Julian died. And then came back. To life."
