[Louise]

Russell

"Becky and I broke up," I stopped to check my watch, "about two hours ago. I think I need a breather from romance-related things for a while."

Helena

"Can you promise me one thing?"

[Callie]

Kellan

"Maybe..."

Adrienne

I frowned slightly at him. "I'm sorry," I said about the break-up, hoping that the apology seemed heartfelt even though I was happy. "How long's a while?" I asked, biting back a sly grin. Part of me wondered if Russell would even wonder why I was asking. If he'd even be interested in the first place. I made sure to keep my powers turned down as low as they could; if anything, I wanted Russell to like me for me... not for the appeal that I got from dear old grams.

[Louise]

Russell

I eyed her curiously at her question. "I don't know. A while is a while, let's just leave it at that."

Helena

I was about to speak when my doctor, followed by about half-a-dozen medical students, walked into the room. I was glad that one of them wasn't Becky; I knew she came here for work experience sometimes. Seeing her here would be awkward, as we didn't get along that well.
"Good news, Helena," Doctor Oldfield (that's his name, it says so on his nametag) began, smiling warmly. "You've recovered a lot better than we thought you would - you can go home."
I grinned and bounced up and down in my seat. "Woo!"
"We'd like to see you in the morning just to see how you're going, if that's alright?"
"It's fine."
"Good. I'll see you tomorrow, then. Stay away from that fish!" He and the students walked out again, and I turned back to face Kellan again. But, I couldn't remember what I was about to ask.

[Callie]

Kellan

I grinned at her. "Look at that, you're not dying after all."

Adrienne

I had to bite back a laugh at the look on his face. "Okay," I said simply, turning around and heading back to Helena's room. I knocked on the door. "Are you guys done having hospital sex?" I called to them.

[Louise]

ooc: I'm tempted for Helena to say "No, we're not Damon and Rosetta!"

Helena

"We never were!" I called out to Adrienne, making a face. "I'm allowed to go home."

[Callie]

OOC: xD

Adrienne

"Sure," I said sarcastically, though I had a feeling Helena wouldn't do something like that. Kellan, on the other hand... I opened the door and walked in, then grinned at her. "Should we go home, then?"

[Louise]

Helena

"Mhmm..." I suddenly had an idea, and my eyes lit up. "Oh my god, you two should totally sleep over," I declared, nodding.

[Callie]

Adrienne

I looked at her cautiously. "Okay, but I refuse to sleep in the same room as the two of you."
Kellan just laughed and winked at me. "Probably a wise choice."

[Louise]

Helena

"Alrighty then," I agreed, pulling the thin, white bedspread off my legs and getting out of the hospital bed. I went towards the door and walked out, smack bang into Russell. I toppled backwards and fell to the floor, sighing with frustration. "Watch where you're going!" I complained, standing back up and dusting myself off.
"Sorry."

[Callie]

Kellan

I exchanged a look with Adrienne before following Helena out of the room. "You're alive!" Jaiden was exclaiming as we walked out. He glanced over to the both of us, and blushed when he noticed Adrienne, who only smirked slightly.

[Louise]

Helena

"Yup!" I replied, grinning. "And we're having a slumber party of some sort to celebrate. Maybe we should pull an all-nighter."
"As long as you don't use the TV, I need to relax," Russell spoke, and I turned to smirk at him.
"Oh, what are you going to watch?" I teased playfully. "It's not going to be some romantic movie, is it? Is Becky coming over?"
Russell didn't answer, just stared at his feet and shifted uncomfortably. Did I say something wrong?

[Callie]

Adrienne

"They broke up," I whispered into Helena's ear.

OOC: I just had the funniest random scene pop in my head. Adrienne was trying to teach Russ how to dance to a Shakira song...

[Louise]

ooc: Russell would never do that.

Helena

"Oh." I turned to Russell. "Woops, sorry."
"Whatever."

[Callie]

OOC: But it would be funny. XD

Adrienne

"Yeaaah... let's just go?" I suggested, heaidng for the door.

[Louise]

ooc: Oh yes, totally.

Helena

"Yeah... how are you guys getting to my house?" I asked.

[Callie]

Adrienne

"I drove."
"I walked," Kellan said. "I'll ride with Adrienne so your guys' car doesn't get cramped."

[Louise]

Helena

"Alrighty then." I looked around and frowned slightly. "Wasn't Des here too, or was I seeing things?"

[Callie]

Kellan

I looked around, too, and couldn't see her. I made a face and ran back into Helena's room. Sure enough, Des was jumping up and down on the bed. I swiftly picked her up and dragged her back out with me, despite her whining. "You're not supposed to jump on the hospital beds, doof," I said with a laugh, setting her on my shoulders.

[Louise]

Helena

I frowned. "I'm bored, let's go," I said bluntly, crossing my arms and tapping my foot impatiently.

[Callie]

OOC: xD I'm still so excited for someone (*coughStebietotallyshouldcough*) to make a next one so I get to play teenage Des.

Kellan

"Okay, okay," I said, heading for the door. Adrienne, Jer, and Jaiden followed behind me.

[Louise]

ooc: *coughStebiewillcough*

Helena

Russell began to quickly make his way to the door, and I tried my best to keep up with him. "I'm going to keep you company, okay?" I told him once we were outside, searching around for his car.
"Okay," he answered, his voice a flat monotone, before walking towards his vehicle. I think he was thinking about Becky or something.

[Callie]

OOC: Yay! But... I thought Russell walked...

Adrienne

Jer and Jaiden appeared to be going in the same car, at least, so that left me with Des and Kellan. I unlocked the doors and got in the driver's seat. Kellan strapped Des into the backseat, then got in the passenger's seat. It was sort of cute how he was such a softie with Des and a manwhore the rest of the time. Except for lately. Maybe he was cheating on Helena? I hoped not. It'd suck to have to kill Kellan.

[Louise]

ooc: He walked home to get his car. And Kellan better not be cheating on Helena. >.>

Russell

I got into the driver's seat and buckled my seatbelt, and tapped my fingers on the dashboard while waiting for Helena to catch up. Eventually, she made it, and got into the passenger side. I put the key in the ignition and turned it, and before I had even gotten the car out of park, she had already turned on the radio and was bopping up and down to some stupid song. I honestly couldn't have been bothered to change it, and sighed as I put the car into drive and began to leave.

OOC: He's not... that I know of. O.o Skip to Helena's house?

Helena

I think Russell was in a rush, because we were the first ones to get home. He stopped the vehicle and got out of the car, and I followed suit and wandered inside. I was starting to get a bit tired and dizzy and, by the time I had actually walked through the door, my uncle had already changed and was putting a DVD in the drive. He looked a lot more comfortable and relaxed then usual - instead of his regular, uptight get-up, he was just casually wearing track pants and a Harvard University T-shirt. I watched as he sighed to himself with satisfaction and move to the couch, getting comfortable in his seat and beginning to press buttons on the remote. "What are we watching?" I asked, side-stepping so I could see the screen.

Russell

"The exact opposite of what I normally watch," I replied, smiling slightly and turning to face Helena. Her face was as pale as a ghost, and she was trembling in fear. "Not a fan of the Saw franchise, I see?"
Helena quickly shook her head. "The puppet thing scares me." She pointed to the DVD case on the coffee table, where a still shot of Billy was on the cover.
"Maybe you should stay upstairs then."
"...yeah, I think so." And with that, she bolted up the stairs and I heard her door slam shut. I shook my head to myself and, turning back towards the TV, pressed 'play'.

[Callie]

Adrienne

"Thanks for the ride, Adrienne," Kellan said with a grin, climbing out the car. I beat him to the door because he had to get Des and I opened the door.
"Where's Helena? Ooh, Saw," I murmured, staring at the television for a moment. Should I stay down here and watch Saw with Russell or go upstairs and watch Kellan and Helena make out? Hmm... tough one there. I loved Helena like she was my sister, but I adored scary movies and Russell was hot. Not to mention watching people make out kind of made me wanna vomit in my mouth, no matter who it was.

[Louise]

Russell

"Upstairs, scared to death," I replied simply, not bothering to take my eyes off the screen.

[Callie]

Adrienne

"There ya go, Kellan," I said, shoving him in the direction of the stairs as he walked in with Des still on his shoulders. He shot me a glare, but climbed up the stairs. I took a seat in one of the chairs. "Mind if I watch, too?"

Jasper

I followed everyone out of the store, still hoping they'd plan on cancelling our illegal plans for the day. Why couldn't we be like normal people and go... shooting or something?

[Louise]

Russell

"Go ahead."

Helena

I changed out of the dress I wore to dinner and into my warm, comfortable pajamas. I walked over to my vanity and, grabbing a tie, put my hair in a messy ponytail. There, much better. Suddenly, I felt slight discomfort in my stomach, and I walked over to my bed and I sat down. I knew that this would happen, the doctor said so... but, I also knew that there wasn't a chance in Hell that I was going back downstairs to get painkillers. Maybe I could just relax until it went away.
