Formally Hidden City 2.
The legendary 'Golden Age' was the first in a four 'Ages of Man', and denoted a period of primordial peace, harmony, stability, and prosperity. The Titans, a race of powerful deities born of Gaia and Uranus, reigned supreme. However, the Titans didn't respectfully earn their place as rulers - their leader, Kronos, overthrew his father, Uranus, to get there. He envied the power of Uranus, and, with a sickle given to him from his mother, attacked his own father. He and his sister, Rhea, took the throne as King and Queen.
Kronos then learned a prophecy from Gaia and Uranus - he was destined to be overcome by his own son, just as he had done previously. As a result, although he sired the gods Demeter, Hera, Hades, Hestia, and Poseidon by Rhea, he devoured them all as soon as they were born, to preempt the prophecy. When the sixth child, Zeus, was born Rhea sought Gaia to devise a plan to save them and to eventually get retribution on Kronos for his acts against his father and children. Rhea secretly gave birth to Zeus in Crete, and handed Kronos a stone wrapped in swaddling clothes, also known as the Omphalos Stone, which he promptly swallowed, thinking that it was his son.
Once he had grown up, Zeus used a poison given to him by Gaia to force Kronos to disgorge the contents of his stomach in reverse order: first the stone, which was set down at Pytho under the glens of Mount Parnassus to be a sign to mortal men, then the goat, and then his two brothers and three sisters. In a vast war called the Titanomachy, Zeus and his brothers and sisters, with the help of the Gigantes, Hecatonchires, and Cyclopes, overthrew Kronos and the other Titans. Afterwards, many of the Titans were confined in Tartarus.
Now, in the Iron Age, something that was never thought to happen is becoming a reality - Kronos is becoming powerful once more. He's used his great-grandaughter, Aria (daughter of Ares), to start it all, but now, he has the other Titans to back him up. He has imprisioned the Olympians and is causing a reign of terror over the Earth. However, Kronos forgot one important thing - the demigods, and their children. Rules[/u] ~ No godmodding. ~ No double-posting. ~ No 1337 speak. ~ No Mary-Sues/Bella Swans or Gary Stus/Edward Cullens. ~ Add all your charries you make later in the RP to your first post, so your charries are easily accessible. ~ You can have mean charries, but don't be mean yourself. ~ Use OOC when you're talking "out of character". ~ If you want to claim someone, ask the creator of the chari or something, don't just be all, "But I thought he/she was hot/pretty first! She has tons of friends, and is very popular. Helena is aware that she and her twin brother, Jaiden, were both mistakes, but their births brought their parents together. Jer and Hamilton got married when the twins were two, and it is Helena's favourite memory. And, since then, nothing really dramatic has happened in her life. Everything is almost perfect. The only thing that bugs her is that she doesn't get to see her uncle, James, very often. It's a shame too, since she is very fond of him. Plus, it helps that they have the same power. Ever since she was little she has just lived in her own little bubble. In her eyes the world is like a paradise, where nothing is bad. She is terribly optimistic and never judges people, which sometimes leaves her open to people who want to hurt her. She always see the good in people, even if someone hurts her time after time she never stays mad at someone. She's like a child in some ways. She has only gotten furious once in her life and that was when her dad and step-mom argued after they'd gotten divorced. Since she thinks good of everyone she can't really take care of herself if anything bad would happen but who would want to hurt a peaceful girl like her? Picture:  Bio/Personality: Jaiden mostly keeps to himself, and he's pretty much the polar opposite of his twin sister, Helena. He's sort of antisocial and doesn't have very many friends, because of this. Jaiden doesn't really care, and he spends much of his time either at the library, or, at night, stargazing. Jaiden's just always been interested in astrology. Jaiden also knows he and Helena were mistakes, and most of the time, he doesn't care, but sometimes, it really gets to him. It doesn't seem to affect Helena at all, and he wonders why, because he just can't stand it sometimes. Jaiden can have quite the temper, so he has a punching bag outside to get his anger out. Taylor just moved back about a week ago, moving into a tiny apartment of his own, and he plans on leaving for a small college around here soon, so he can fulfill his dream (since he was eleven) of being a mechanic. He's so outgoing and flirty all the time, while, when they were younger, both of his parents had a hard time actually sort of getting the guts to talk to each other. Dominic doesn't have that problem; he's a really confident guy, but that might be due to the fact that he knows there are a lot of girls that can't resist him because of the attraction power he inherited from Nevva. Guys usually get along with him because of his jokingly sarcastic nature. Dominic also doesn't really... care about much. He cares about his family and friends, but girls have always been sort of toys to him. When Dominic gets tired of a girl, he just leaves her in the dust. He's sort of a heartbreaker, but not nearly as much as his friend, Kellan. Kellan is a different story... At least Dominic cares about the girls for a while. Kellan rarely does. Another thing about Dominic: he's rarely serious. In all seriousness (pun intended), he hates soberness. Both kinds. Though he's not often drunk. If he is, though, you won't notice much difference. Drunk Dominic is the same as Sober Dominic. Dominic isn't very close to his parents, though he loves them. As the oldest in his family, he feels it's his responsibility to be out all night and cause his parents to worry all the time, which he does quite well. He usually gets reprimanded from Nevva, though. Dominic can easily get on her good side by cooking dinner, which he's actually quite good at, and it's his most used approach. You wouldn't guess he'd be a good cook, but he is. Dominic also has a lot of friends. Most people guess this, but they don't know how many. He's friends with the wrong people, the right people, and the in-between people. He has connections most people could only have dreamed of. Hell, if Dominic wanted someone dead, he has friends that could do that for him! Not that he wants anyone dead. Just saying. He's actually friends with a few famous people, and he rarely loses contact with someone. Thus far, Dominic's life has been great, and he's going to continue living his life to the fullest. Name: Dallas Dade Gender: Female Age: 17 years old Godly Parent: Hades Picture:  Bio/Personality: Dallas is that person that people know from school, but no one's really ever gotten close to, mostly because of the fact that she's been in and out of the nearest juvenile detention center since she was thirteen. Stealing, graffiti, cussing out the teachers, fighting... you name it, and if it was against the rules, Dallas has done it. But don't be mistaken: the girl knows how to party. And to fight. She's never before gotten out of juvie on good behavior. More often than not, she gets forced to stay longer for beating up one of the guys in there. You see, Dallas has never liked people touching her without her permission. And she has a tendency to hurt people who do. She's not the nicest person you'll meet, but she's pretty good-natured for the most part, unless you make her angry. Dallas's best weapon, though? Her sarcasm, of course. Dallas doesn't really get along well with her mom, and she doesn't know who her dad is. Not that that's surprising to her, as her mom works as a stripper and she's usually drunk or staying the night at some pig's house. Dallas also has a secret, of course. Something that made her so... like she is. Well, towards men, at least. No one knows, though, and she doesn't plan on sharing. She's never been one for pity parties. Powers: Can make ghosts, the dead, and poltergeists do her bidding. Think mind control of the dead. xD Other: Occasionally called Dally. Name: Sinclair Noir Gender: Male Age: 22 years old Godly Parent: N/A. Picture:  Bio/Personality: Sin's a ladies' man, pure and simple. He may not have the attraction power that some people around here do, but Sin's had practice. He's charismatic and charming, and with that, he can make many women like putty in his hands. The real Sin is widely unknown - most people take no time to look beyond the dickhead surface. Sin wasn't always like this, though, but that's another story for another day, and one he doesn't like to bring up. Sin lived with his parents until he was nineteen, spending a lot of time with his younger brother, Kialish, sometimes too. He tried to train Ki in the art of seduction, but Ki didn't want to be like that. Like Sin. Not that Sin could really blame him - sometimes he hates being himself, too. However, one day, all things went wrong. Sin was just home, watching a basketball game with his dad while his mom made cookies - a typical December day for their household. Kialish was at a friend's house. Then, though... they came. The werewolves. They came, they sabotaged, and they left. Sin's parents were dead now, and he was rapidly changing into one of them. One of those monsters. The worst part was the want to devour the rest of his parents' dead bodies. He knew he had to get out of there, and before Kialish was there, all alive and heart beating and everything, to tempt him. So he did. That was four years ago. Sin doesn't plan on going back. Powers: Can change into a wolf. Other: He's a werewolf, not a godly child. He prefers to be called Sin. |

I frowned as someone behind me turned the TV down. I turned around and saw Russell with the remote, turning it down. "Do you mind?" I asked, making a face.
He shook his head. "Actually, I don't," he replied, a hint of a smile tracing his lips. "I have an important exam in a couple of days, and I need you to turn this...what is this crap, anyway?"
I rolled my eyes. "It's Sixteen and Pregnant," I told him. "Jeez, you're even more of a party pooper than Jaiden."
"And don't I know it," he answered, before walking upstairs.
As soon as he was gone, I turned the TV up again.

I made a face when the TV was turned up once more, but I wasn't going to be the one to tell Helena to turn it down, so I just turned on the radio, frowning slightly when all I heard was someone talking. Stupid. Why couldn't they just play music? No one wanted to hear them talk, anyhow.

I stopped my car, hopped out and grabbed Kellan's wrist.
"Hey!" he protested.
"I'm kidnapping you," I answered, shoving him into the backseat and buckling him up like a little kid.
He grinned at me and did something weird with his eyebrows. "Daddy likey."
"Only you could take someone buckling you up with a seatbelt the wrong way," I replied with a smirk, getting in the other side and driving to Helena's house.
When we got there, I immediately opened the door, and Kellan followed. I flung open Helena's front door and frowned dramatically. "Helenaaaaa," I groaned, "Kellan's trying to rape me again."
He laughed and grinned mischieviously. "Well, if you would move your ass out of the way, we wouldn't have that problem."
"Don't touch my ass," I told him, glancing back at him... just to make sure. You never knew with Kellan.

I turned the TV off and walked to the front door. "Really? Again?" I asked with a smirk.

Did my ears decieve me, or did Helena turn the TV off? I put down my textbook and walked downstairs. Sure enough, the TV was off. I shrugged, and headed to the kitchen. I was hungry, anyway.

"Well, I was completely occupied playing basketball until you came and kidnapped me. Not that I minded," he replied with a wink.
I rolled my eyes. "See how he is?"
"Psh, how I am? I'm a saint," he retorted, putting on an innocent look. I grinned, looking into the kitchen where Helena's uncle had gone into. Every time I came here... man, the guy was hot!
Just then, Jer showed up and shot a brief glare at Kellan; it didn't seem to affect him. "Going out?" he asked Helena, nodding briefly at me and pretty much ignoring Kellan. I didn't understand why Jer had such a grudge against him, really.

Her parents were never the mom and dad kinds of people so Ricky convinced Lara to take off to God knows where and leave her with James and Janessa when she was a baby. Caitlyn lives by the rule that nothing needs to be taken seriously. Everything to her can be dealt with using sarcasm or batting her eyelashes. Powers: Archery; Can control lightning Other: Name: Zorana Dawes Gender: Female Age: 18 Godly Parent: Lara (Daughter of Artemis) and Jordan (Son of Apollo) Picture:  Bio/Personality: Zorana is one of the most outgoing people you'll ever meet, despite her sad past. When she was born her parents weren't exactly ready to have kids, but they did their best anyways and really did love each other. Two years later some guy named Ricky moved next door and started spending time with Lara. Turns out the guy was a son of Aphrodite and somehow seduced her to cheat on Jordan and get pregnant. Lara didn't even want the kid so Ricky used his 'charm' again to get her to run off to Vegas with him and totally forget both her daughters. Jordan's taken it really hard and refuses to meet anyone else. Zorana still holds out hope that her mom will come back one day, but in the mean time, she's fine finding ways to get herself into trouble and trying to convert Jasna. "Hey, so can I stay over?" I asked as I got into my side of the car. "I don't wanna be home. It's all big and empty and shit."

I beamed with excitement as I got into the car, due to Adrienne's question. "Yeah, you can sleep over," I replied, then turned to Kellan and narrowed my eyes. "Don't you even ask about joining in, because I know you're going to," I warned him.

Laura was once a simple little girl with a simple life but the she was attacked by something and slowly turned into the same thing...After months of searching she found others like herself and joined them. Its just good that Lucy is so easy going about the whole flirting issue because he knows shes exactly the same. Powers: Changes into a wolf. Other: Invented for Stelley  : Name: Macca Walsh Gender: Male Age: 23 Godly Parent: N/A Picture: Bio/Personality: Macca has pretty much had the most perfect of lives, he had a brilliant childhood and loved messing about with his brother who is two years younger than him. Macca is quite well off as he run and owns his own Bistro in hidden city, from time to time Macca goes and visits his parent and his younger brother Zac at thier family home. However they try and get him to take on more and although he loves his family it annoys him and he prefers staying in the centre of Hidden city and running the Bistro. Macca owns a decent car and has a nice house which he keeps well furnished and clean. Adrienne rolled her eyes and poked me sharply in the side, but I kept giving Helena puppy eyes, even though I knew it wouldn't work.

I stopped in front of a club and took the keys out of the ignition. "Tada!" I announced with a grin, getting out and rushing for the entrance, then stopping briefly and waiting impatiently for Helena and Kellan. Kellan was purposely going in slow-mo, taking his sweet time getting out of the car just to irritate me.
