The Tribes

In the years past, anything would go. Before fancy gadgets, before modern time, before the civilized world of modern life, a certain group of people had no need to hide themselves from the world. Lycanthropes, or people "infected" with the lycan gene would undergo a slightly painful transition every night. This change turned man into beast. A human into a wolf. At first, very few people had this rare, unique, and fascinating gene. Then they began to reproduce, and their numbers grew larger. Eventually, thousands of years later, humans decided it was time retaliate, take back land that was theirs. But no. A war ensued, leaving werewolves bloody, mangled, and broken. Nonetheless, the human race was wiped out. The werewolves broke off into three different Nations. Each Nation had their own idea of framework and order, and so like any headstrong leader, they started to create conflicts. The Itsui, Aragine, and Fydon werewolve nations can not seem to find any harmony. The chances of them getting along are slim. What could possibly happen in a world run by werewolves?

The Itsui are the most peaceful group of werewolves. Ultimately, they are the hippies of the lycanthrope world. They have a very simple government framework, and getting along comes easy to everyone. If you had everything you could ever want, why fight?

With every utopia comes the rough, rebels. Aragine is the war-like nation. Werewolves born on fighting and death can be a dangerous thing. In a dog eat dog world, anything goes. Disputes are settled by to the death battles, making the Aragine the most fearful nation.

A nation raised on wisdom and human like ways, they believe in letting the werewolves choose who they want to control them, and letting that leader take charge. Probably the most up tight of the nations, this place is full of stick up their behinds leaders.

Growing up in a wolrd that knows no love or forgivness, Sienna firmly belives that there is no such thing as "love." When you watch the only person you ever cared for die before you, what is left for you to live for? Sienna thinks that everyone exists for a reason, and what you do with your existance is your choice entirely. If you fufill the reason for existance, than great for you...If not, well then that's just too bad now isn't it?

Kesha hasnt really been bothered about listening to these stories she kill if it stops her from being killed, but she'll allow someone some speaking room if they need to explain thier situation. However if they say something she doesnt like its meet the grim reaper time. Kesha's friends have nicknamed her the goddess of blood and she loves it. Whenever she kills she likes to use the blood of her victims to paint her face so that her tribes knows she has killed again.

Biography: Ash is the only son of one of the most infamous lycanthropes there are: Hunter Redfern. He has siblings, but they're all girls. He occasionally gets along with Rowan, Kestral, and Jade (his sisters), but he doesn't see them often. Ash also doesn't spend very much time with his dad, who pretty much everyone is scared of. Hunter's lethal, but Ash can be, too. Especially if you make him mad. That doesn't happen very easily, but if it does...
Ash is also a bit of a player. He has a tendency to get a girl crazy about him, play with her for a bit, then kill her. It's just a habit after all these years, pretty much. However, Ash can be very alluring when he wants to, and it can be very hard for someone to resist him.
Personality: Arrogant, self-absorbed, greedy, clever, seductive, rude, sarcastic, flirty, charming.

Biography: September watched her parents die in front of her. She was hiding in a closet, and then some people from the Aragine nation murdered them. They didn't find her (that's what she'll tell people, at least; something happened then that she refuses to share), and back then, she didn't know yet that she was a wolf, too. When her twin, Stella, came back from the friend's house she was at, she asked September what happened, but September couldn't answer. She couldn't talk. She still can't. Can't use her voice. Since then, Stella's pretty much become her personal translator. She says what September would say if she could talk.
Personality: Gentle, naive, sincere, loyal, honest, wise, patient.

Biography: Stella was at her best friend's house when her parents died, and she still feels guilty about it, even though it was six years ago. She knows she can't change it, though, so she tries to hide it, for September's benefit, though she imagines her twin feels much worse about it than she does. Stella's probably the most... bloodthirsty of the people of the Itsui nation, and she thinks this is due to her parents' deaths. She sort of... took a turn for the worst. Ever since then, she's been short tempered, and gets mad very easily. Sometimes she'll even snap at September, but she'll almost always immediately apologize if it comes to this.
Personality: Outgoing, energetic, bouncy, friendly, fiery, short tempered, determined.

Sienna

A disgrace to the Aragine culture. To feel was a mere full human emotion. I was better than that. I was a lycanthrope. A werewolf. So how did this explain the river of tears that ran down my face? For goodness sake I could pass for those mushy "make love not war" Itsui wolves! They were a pathetic excuse for werewolves. What was the point of unhuman abilities if you wasted them upon trivial things? I could never grasp that...It just wouldn't register. My unnatrually bright red hair kept falling in my face, and I angrilly wiped it out of the way. Death was normal. It was five years ago. Why did it still haunt me. I angrilly slammed my fists against the ground in a fit of rage. What had I become? I continued walking on. A path to nowhere. A path to a new life.

Tymen

The Itsui. My home land. The birthplace of my forefathers. I loved this place like stars loved burst. Each day was nothing but hapiness and sunshine. And after 18 long and tiresome years of peace, I would start to grow restless. Yeah, tensions were high with me but it didn't change how I acted. Calm and collect, overreacting wasn't even in my vocabulary. A love for life is all you need. If you have a dream, go for it. So, that was what I was doing. Walking down the street with my hands jammed in my pockets, it didn't seem like I was doing much. But oh contrare. For the first time of my life, I crossed the border. I left the solace of the Itsui nation into no mans land, the area between all three nations.

Walking. Just walking. To where? I didn't know. I just wandered like that. Ah, the life of an Aragine. To have no fear, and to be feared. That was what I lived for. That's all I needed. I didn't need anybody to call my own. Looking over to my side, I saw my brother and sister. Except them. They were the only ones I couldn't live without in this world.

Gaberiella:

I saw raze looking over at me, and smiled. He could be such an ass sometimes, but never to me or Ace. No. He was completely loyal. I looked over at ace who was studying the stars.

Ace:
The stars. I wonder what could be up there. Someone watching us, who made us who we are? Or nothing. Oh, how I longed for something better than what I lived. A life of war and hatred never brought anything good upon our kind.

Blake:
Running through the forest. How exciting! The smells of wild pines and lush roses bombarded my senses. Life was great, and nothing was gonna change that!

I hunted silently through the forest stalking every little thing in my path and then murdering it in cold blood, I couldnt be bothered to argue today and this was the best way to stay out of the way of the rest of my clan the rest of my group. I finally found the smell I had been looking for.

Charli

I lay my head in the grass and sighed as much as I loved the simple life I was bored and tired of anything, I lay in amongest the forest trees and the small grass and I could smell the roses and the wild pines.

Orlando

I sat and watched Charli sitting amonst the grass and I quietly shut my eye listening for any other movements we didnt want to be here for long if a rebel came along.

Alec

I sat in the little area we had taken on as a home and looked around you could see young of our kind playing and eating.

OOC: Sure. Who did you want him for?

Ash

I ran a hand through my hair as I headed for the land between all three nations: no man's land. Free-for-all. Maybe if I was lucky, some naive/stupid Itsui girl would be there. I was bored, and a combination of romance and maybe a good fight or meal was just what I needed.

Stella

"Oh, c'mon, Sep! It'll be fun, I pinky swear!" I begged my sister. I didn't understand why she was so dead-set against no man's land. It could be fun there, and the people here were so... boring. They were all calm and hippieish. I wasn't like that, but then again, I didn't really fit into any of the nations, and I couldn't leave September anyhow, so I'd just decided to stay here. Sometimes, though, I thought I might be a better Aragine or something. I was too energetic for this place.

September

I shook my head firmly at Stella and she sighed. Why did she want to go there so bad, anyhow? I signed to her, 'Do you have a hot date waiting there for you?'
She laughed and shook her head. "Not today. But we should still go. PLEASE, Sep?"
'Why don't you go without me?' I signed, looking at her questioningly.
Stella frowned; so did I. I hadn't meant to make her sad. "You know why..."
Our parents. 'I'm sorry.'

Spencer

I sat at the edge of the pond, skipping stones across the surface. I was beyond bored, and I thought about going to see Stella and September, but Stella told me they were going to no man's land today and I didn't feel like it. Not to mention that September could be very stubborn when she felt like it, and I had a feeling she wouldn't want to go to no man's land. Stella could also be very stubborn, but I knew she wouldn't leave without September. So maybe they were still there. Deciding it couldn't hurt to check, I stood up and headed for their house.

I stopped and smelled the air. We were in no mans land... Crap. Looking at my brother and sister, I froze. I could smell more of us.

Stella

I decided to try one more time. "Please, can we go, September?" I asked her softly.
She sighed and held her arm out to me. I grinned and grabbed her arm, literally dragging her off to no man's land.
"Hey, wait!" a familiar voice shouted, laughing. I turned to see Spencer.
"Spence, wanna come with us to no man's land?" I asked him excitedly.
He raised an eyebrow. "You mean September's letting you drag her along."
I nodded happily.
"Ah, what the hell. Why not?" he shrugged and we walked in silence. Once we were there, we sort of looked around, seeing a few other people.
September was looking at me. 'What now, O Great One?' she signed.
I frowned. "Oh, shut it."

I quickly stepped in front of my siblings. I was ready to protect them, no matter what happened. A growl began to rise from deep inside my chest.

Ace:

"Cool it Raze!" I hissed. "For all we know, they could just be taking a gentle walk in the woods. They don't need someone to attack them when their doing nothing!"

[Callie]

Stella

We all heard a growl at the same time, but September was the only one who jumped. I turned to look at the guy. "We come in peace," I said wryly; I was scared, but that was only because it was possible that one of these people were from Aragine.

Ace:

"See dumb ass, I told you! Nobody is here to fight!" I rolled my eyes.
"It's okay." I shouted over to them. "My brother here is just a dumb nut. He won't bite unless he's threatened."

Raze:

I glared at Ace, took Gaberiella's hand- who hand remained quiet this whole time- and started to walk over to them.

Stella

"Well, I won't either, but I can't guarantee anything about these two," I told the guy.
"I promise I won't either," Spencer said, laughing a bit.
I looked at September, but she didn't sign anything or say anything. I had to hold back a smirk. September wasn't much of a fighter, but I had the feeling if they tried anything on me or Spencer, they'd have to watch their backs.

I stepped in, much calmer now. I smiled dangerously, letting them know not to mess with us.

"Hey, I'm Raze. This is my sister Gaberiella and my idiot brother Ace. Nice to meet you."

"You too. I'm Spencer," Spence said, nodding politely.
I looked at the one talking cautiously. He seemed kinda dangerous, but I wasn't going to let him threaten me. "I'm Stella, and this is September," I said, jabbing a finger back to my sister, who waved slightly. She was looking them over with the same cautiousness I had, but then she stopped.

I stood up quickly and headed to no mans land, I just felt that I had to go there...There was something pulling me towards that place and I didnt know why I needed to go there, eventually I arrived and looked around there were many wolves from different clans here.

Ash

Sprawled out on the ground, a ways away from everyone else, I watched the group of six watching each other warily. How careful they were was sort of... amusing, in an odd way. I decided one, maybe two of them were naive enough, but it was probably just the one. The childish-looking, blonde girl that didn't speak (September). Even so, though, the need for some company was fading. It'd probably flare up again soon enough, however.

Charli

I stepped out of the trees and I giggled in delight as the sun caught my red hair and shimmered, I hadnt been out in the sun for such a long time. I was throughtly enjoying this though and watching the other wolves move in careful calculated ways made me laugh again. The pull had stopped and so I sat down and began to observe, I may have been an Itsui but I would defend myself if needed however I would always find a way to talk things out first.

"Hello," I said to the beautiful girl that had sat next to me. Hm. She seemed gullible enough. She was definitely an Itsui, too. "Gorgeous day out..." I remarked, looking up at the sky.

"Hey. Yes most gorgeous isn't it." I smiled and nodded looking up at the sky with him and sighing heavily "It's funny, I havent been out in the sunshine for ages, too busy for this relaxing lark...too much love and peace to spread." I giggled and then shook out my hair again "Oh im so stupid im Charli."

My heart skipped for a moment. She was beautiful... SO innocent and fair... Not that I'd ever let anyone know that. She's probably break my heart. Just like all the others.

I looked over to September when she signed something. I laughed a bit and turned to the others. "She says this is awkward. I think I agree, 'coz it's all quiet now."

Ash

I smiled charmingly at her. "I'm Ash. Pleased to meet you, Charli," I said, taking her hand and kissing him.
