"wait, I gotta go, Ashanti. Text me, kay?" I said hanging up and checking the other one. I rolled back over onto my back. "Well, I just got back from the school dad sent us to." I grinned and struck a pose. "Everybody missed me!"
I started madly texting Mila back.

I was thinking as im now up and dressed I should drive over pick you up and then check in on shanti see what shes doing and then shop biatch! M luvs ya xx I typed back rapidly after recieving the text.

"Sorry, I've always been terrible with presents," I said wryly, heading back at a fast walk towards the base and dragging him with me.

I laughed and smiled at her. "No, not really. I think the most interesting things around here are Izzy's plans or your problems with your sister." I looked back to where I was supposed to be keeping a lookout and immediately saw a problem. "Or that," I muttered, seeing the young Cross in the distance.

His name was Ryan. Her big brother. And now he's gone, but she can't tell anyone because she was too close to his killer. However, V now has plans to go and find the killer to ask them why. I walked around, utterly bored out of my mind. I wondered if I would ever find her. God... I missed Ryan. He was the ultimate big brother: nice at all the right times, and an utter pest the rest of the time.

"Ok, cya," I murmured, and hung up the phone. I was happy to learn that I had received a text from Mila. I got nothing to do today. U? I texted back.

"Plans," I replied simply. Like I was going to tell some bloody dagger my plans. Riiight. We reached the base, and I went inside, to one of the cell-like rooms, taking off the blindfold, then sitting down and thinking. How would we prove it?

I stayed silent in here. If she asked for any info from me, I sure as hell wasn't going to give it. Although, I was slightly happy she took that blindfold off.

aww get over it seeya in a bit... ~paisley I got up and walked over to my closet. I immediately groaned. "Daddy never sent my packages with new clothes up here, did he?"

I smiled and then nodded grabbing my keys and running down the stairs Inabit petal....Dont be too long...xxMxx I text back paisley and then worked on the text to Ashanti How about you hurry up n get ready n come out shopping with me and Paisley.

"Ughh. Fine, I'll wear..hmm...." I crossed my arms and contemplated all the outfit possibilities. I finally decided on a short red miniskirt, pink tights, and a white tanktop over a red one. I took out my red Converses and turned to look at my sister. "Tadaaaa!"

I texted back a simple "K", and rushed over to my wardrobe. I didn't care too much about what I wore, but I was pretty sure that Paisley would be there, and I had to look hotter than her.

I pulled up outside her house in my yellow vw beetle and beeped the horn and waited for Ashanti to come down frowning at one of my brothers in the back of the car "Why'd you need a lift you own your own car." I hissed and he smirked and shrugged "Ugh whatever."

"Hang on!" I called, struggling to put my shoes on. Ugh, why did I buy these things? They were always a pain in the ass to put on.

I went into my private bathroom and changed, putting on my makeup first and then fixing my hair.

Beeping again i began to get annoyed.

I eventually got my shoes on, and grabbed my purse and ran out the door. "Sorry," I apologized when I got to Mila's car.

Alright, I look hot, I thought triumphantly, walking out of the bathroom. "Karolina, I'm going out to shop. Tell dad that, kay?" I told her, then walked out with my purse. When I got onto the porch, my phone started to ing. I looked at the caller ID, and immediately groaned. I flipped open the phone and heard him say hello.
"Look, dude, stop calling me." I lowered my voice. "You did quite enough."

I shrugged as she walked off, "Whatever." Hmm, what to wear. I ended up picking out a dark purple V-neck spaghetti string and denim short shorts.

The Cross was getting closer, but still pretty far away. I'd seen Izzy come back, so I ran inside, finding her in one of the cells with some guy.
"Izzy, there's a Cross outside. She can't be any older than 14," I told her cautiously.
She looked up from the ground, then pushed herself up. "Watch him," she said before walking out.
"Uh, wait! Aww... damn," I muttered. So I was just supposed to watch him? I could do that. Probably. "So... who're you?" I asked him, leaning against the spot by the door.

"Governor's son. You?" I said casually.

Harlow

"Well, that's a classy introduction." It also sort of explained why he was here. "I'm Harlow."

Izzy

I went outside and saw the girl the same she saw me. I stood frozen in place as she ran towards me, hugging me once she reached me. I pushed her away, then looked at her incredulously. "Bad mood?" she asked, arching an eyebrow at me.
"V, what are you doing here?" I hissed, starting to walk back into the base. She followed, like I knew she would. This was one blast from the past I really did not want to deal with, so I took her to the same place we have the governor's son in and shut the door behind myself. She was shut inside with me, Harlow, and the other guy.
"Who's she?" Harlow asked.
"I'm -"
"Nobody. She's nobody. We'll kill her tomorrow," I replied icily, going out of the room and shutting the door behind me.

I eyed the door, then looked at Harlow. "Well, does she kill people everyday, then?"

Harlow

"Sometimes," I said with a shrug, looking over to the girl.
"I'm Valencia, by the way," she said.
"How do you know Izzy, then?" I asked.
She frowned slightly. "I'm her ex-best friend's little sister. He's dead now. You know Ryan?"
I thought for a while, then my eyes widened. "You're his little sister?"
"Aren't you quick."
I glared at her.
"Sorry," she mumbled.

I said nothing and just listened to them. "Well...if anyone cares...I'm Nathan, unless you like to call me victim instead..."

"She wouldn't kill you, Nathan. You're the governor's son. She needs you for something," I said wryly.

"Well, what would she use me for..? Sorry, but I'm not exactly taught in kidnapping motives..."

I watched him leave and then slumped down the wall and sighed quietly to myself, I thought about ringing the bloke I had been sleeping with and getting the money i needed but I knew dealing with him would be a bad idea right now, considering he was righ and a cross.

Mila

I turneds around quickly and smiled at Ashanti "No problem, im glad you wanted to come out." I grinned putting my foot down and speeding towards Paisleys house.
