I walked into Paisley's room and plopped down on her bed, attempting to eavesdrop on the phone conversation.

Gabrielle
I glanced back from the sky when some guy came and sat next to me. I'd seen that guy around before flirting with some Naught girls. "Sorry, I'm taken." He shot me a weird look, "By who?" "Anybody but you." I smiled sweetly and walked off to... honestly? I had no clue where I was going.

Josh
I rolled my eyes as I saw Gabrielle wandering around town, but quickly ran by so she couldn't recognize me.

I glanced at Karolina and waved just slightly. "I'm talking here," I mouthed at her.

Izzy

When we arrived, I was shoved into what looked like an office. The governor himself and some guy about my age - his son, I guessed - were in the room. Governor Masters shot me a look, then one to the brute that had brought me in here. I smirked slightly at him. "I can wait," I informed him politely, sitting in one of the chairs and making myself comfortable.
It took him a minute of staring at me, but then the knowing light flickered on in his eyes. "Weber," he muttered.

I gave my dad a confused look. One; he had a naught in his office that wasn't a slave(yet) and two; why'd he recognize a random naught? "Uh, Dad. What'd you call me in for?" I asked warily.

"Nathan, I'll talk to you later. Get out," he said.
"No, really, I can just twiddle my thumbs while you have your father-to-son talk," I said mildly.
"What are you doing here?" Masters demanded once his son was out of the room.
I was watching the door his son had just exited. "What, you worried that I'm gonna hurt your heir to your fortune?" I asked dryly.
"This is between you and I, Izabelle. Leave my son out of it."
I turned back to him and flashed him a grin. Within seconds, I'd broken the leg off a table and put it between the doors to his office so it would take some effort to remove them and pinned him to the wall. "If you hadn't murdered my father, we wouldn't have these problems, guvnah." Then I put the chloroform over his mouth, knocking him out, then stuffing him in a closet. I had to wonder how long it would take for someone to find him. Ah well. No matter. I'd be long gone by then, anyways. And I wasn't going to kill him. Not yet, anyhow.

I pressed my ear to the door, trying to figure out what he was talking about. I heard something slide between the door handles...huh? She was going to try to get away. I didn't exactly care if he killed my dad. We needed a new governor, anyway. I told the guards to open those doors in a few minutes. Then I ran out of the house to see if she'd escape through the window.

"Its beautiful....Ive never been out here before." I smiled

Harlow

"That's a damn shame," I remarked with a small smile. "I love it out here... though I feel like a sap admitting it. I'm part of the LM and here I am, liking guarding the entrance because the sunset's pretty." I laughed for a moment, then looked over to her. "Do you ever feel that way? I think I do because... I don't know. Around here, our lives could end at any moment. So we have to cherish what we have, while we've got it." I laughed again. "I'm rambling. I'll stop now."

Izzy

I heard pounding and some scuffling at the door. I took it as my cue and busted out the glass of the window, looking down. Long jump. I swallowed, telling myself that I wasn't afraid of anything, then shut my eyes before I jumped. If I told myself something enough to a point that I believed it, it worked. That was how I told myself that I didn't mind that I didn't have friends. That I didn't care when I took someone's life. But that's a trademark secret, and I'm not sharing. When I opened my eyes, I saw the boy out there and froze briefly. Then I could move again, and my hand automatically went for my pocket, where my knife was.

I smiled and nodded my fondness for this lovely man was growing he had just sumed my feelings up within his own "I always feel that way, the other day on my way through the forest behind our house I found myself stopping to watch and admire a butterfly feeding from the purple bush. After I'd sat there and made myself 3hours late I felt like a complete idiot but I realised that I have to live each day to the full incase of ya know..." I smiled and sighed "But please...I like your rambling its unusually pleasant."

I didn't move. I had a feeling she was dangerous, no matter how young she was. "I won't rat you out," Why did I just say that? I knew I would.

"That's the thing - I have like, no idea. Everyone is dead this morning!" I frowned. I wasn't used to getting this few texts in the morning. Hell, I usually wasted about $100 a day texting people. But today? Either everyone had broke their phone or taking a religious, spirital thing today. Yeah, I'll just keep telling myself that.

Braxlin

I had somehow managed to get to the store and back without hearing anything offensive about me. Which was amazing, since I was a naught and all. It was probably more likely that they did, and I wasn't paying atttention to it. I usually did that; not pay attention to the jeers about me and my kind. It seemed to work just fine.

"Huh. Maybe they're still sleeping. I dunno." I said, laying back on the bed and examining my fingernails closely.

"Maybe."

Paisley
"Well, I've been gone for, like, 2 weeks or something. What happened? Anybody hot single?" I asked excitedly.

[Louise]

"Unfortunately, no. Oh, but James and Abbie's relationship is on the rocks. But that's old news."

"Blehhh. Abbie's always slutting around with other---I say UGLY--guys. I don't know why James denies it and stays with her."

[Louise]

"It's because he's whipped."

Paisley
I laughed. "I guess so. So, did anyone get pregnant or anything?" I rolled over onto my tummy. "Nothing interesting?"

"Nope. Lilly had a pregnancy scare though." Seriously, didn't she know this stuff already? This was old news. Like, a week ago.

Paisley
I sighed. "I saw that on Facebook. They were commenting like nobody could see. Idiots."

[Louise]

"I know. There's some stuff that should be kept private."

Paisley
"Oh! Did I tell you what Nathan did while we were gone, yet?" I grinned. Nathan was sooooo busted, once I told this to dad.

[Louise]

Ashanti

"No...what happened?" I asked.

Paisley
"Ohh! This is sooo funny. We were at this party, y'know, private schools throw like the best ones. Anyway someone spiked the punch and Nathan got totally wasted. Last time I saw him that night, he was half naked with some girl!"

[Louise]

I laughed. "Seriously?"

Harlow

I chuckled softly. "I don't, really. Like my own rambling. It gets on my nerves, actually."

Izzy

Deciding not to grace that lie with a comment, I ran around behind him and blindfolded him; I had a plan. I took my knife and held it to his neck, whispering into his ear, "Don't make a sound or I'll slit your throat and make sure you're dead before they can even get out the door."

I pressed my lips together tightly. "Well. This a great welcome back home. Getting kidnapped." I said softly enough so only she could hear it.

"Seriously!! Now, I always have something against him that dad doesn't know."

My eyes widened. I didn't know Nathan had done that. Though telling the school about my drunk brother didn't seem good for gossip. Bad reputation.

Lila - Naught talking to Harlow

"Fair enough if you dont like then I won't listen to it." I smiled and then sat down and pulled the switch blade from my long black boots and hummed quietly as I began to clean it, I didnt use it much unless it was to break out of our window when mum was trying to keep us in "So anything intresting crop up lately?"
