I raised an eyebrow, then grinned. "Geronimo, then," I said, before running forward and jumping. While in midair, I called to her, "Throw the towels down to the beach before you jump!"

Rayne

I followed her gaze, smiling slightly as I watched her sister as well. I wondered if my boys would be trying to squish the bugs instead of catching them. Of course, I didn't know. I hadn't ever met them.

Aubrey
I threw the towels toward the beach, wanting to walk back down. I bit my lip and jumped off as I screamed.

Adrian

I pushed my head out of the water and held back a smile when I heard Aubrey's scream. She was definitely new at this.

Aubrey
I felt myself plunge into the water, feeling like I'd drown or something. Eventually I came back up and let my lungs fill with fresh air.

Adrian

"You okay?" I asked, unable to keep the amused smile off my face anymore.

Eileen
I glanced at Rayne. "So...how's life been treating you?" I bit my lip. I had nothing to say, I couldn't think of anything to say at all.

Aubrey
I smirked slightly, "That was completely insane and idiotic! Yet at the same time fun.."

Rayne

I shrugged. "Good," I lied. "What about you?"

Adrian

I grinned at her. "See? Not that bad. And I am insane and idiotic," I told her, nodding seriously.

Aubrey
I grinned back at him, "Insane? Probably. But you don't strike me as idiotic."

Eileen
"Better than before," I lied smoothly. Truth was, I don't see how I will be able to afford the next few months' rent, much less Bree's daycare bills. Soon enough, I'll have to bring her to work with me, which I was forbad(spelled wrong?) to do.

I scratched my head with my free hand. "In this town? Nothing really. I mean theres the cheap, clean fun like movies or bowling. If you want fun fun then you have to make the drive up to the bigger towns and cities."

I frowned. "Oh." I couldn't go to anywhere that was big, like a city, because there was a possibility that the police were still looking for me. I wouldn't be surprised if that was the case.

Rayne

"Well, that's good, at least," I remarked quietly.

Adrian

I grinned broadly at her. "Ah, but you haven't been around me quite so much yet."

"Right...good..." I murmured, lost in thought. Maybe I would have to take on a second job.

[Callie]

Rayne

"So... uh..." Go for it, Rayne. Live a little! I could almost imagine Adrian next to me, egging me on and saying these exact things. "Would you wanna go out sometime?" I asked, hoping I'd said it loud enough for her to hear. God, I was nervous.

I was surprised at his question. Wow, we'd just met...but still he was pretty cute, and friendly. A bit shy, but otherwise..."Sure." I chuckled slightly, seeing how nervous he was. "We could go out to lunch sometime, before I have to go to work."

"Alright," I said, running a hand through my hair. "What day are you free?"

"True," I returned his grin.

Adrian

I knew I was gonna regret this later if she agreed, but... oh, to hell with it. She could be pissed at me eventually. After I was dead. If she got close to me and fell for me now... I didn't know. If I fell for her, obviously I'd have to tell her my best kept secret. But whatever. I'd worry about all of this when it came to it. "We should fix that," I told her with a small smile.

I smiled, "I think I'd like that."

Eileen
I shrugged. "Anytime, I guess. I just have to get somebody to watch Bree." I play with my fingers a bit, looking up at him from under my lashes.

Adrian

I laughed and floated on my back. "We're such flirts," I stated, grinning.

Rayne

"Uh... my rude friend might be able to watch her," I offered with a small smile. Somehow, I doubted it. Adrian wasn't really one for kids, but I hoped he'd come through for me this time.

I smiled back. "Really? That would be great. We could try to go tomorrow, if you want, before my shift starts at two."

OOC: That Adrian and Aubrey are flirts, Adrian isn't one for kids, or that he could watch the kidlet? xD

"That'd be great," I agreed, nodding. I should really talk to Adrian... but I had no idea where he went.

I grinned, "Well, I was born that way. What's your excuse?"

Adrian

I smirked. "It's the same as yours." Actually, I was dying, and I wanted to live my life, so why not flirt a little was a better question.

I smirked back and splashed him with water.

I smiled. "It's settled then." What was I supposed to do now? Shaking his hand would be WAY to formal; a hug, maybe? A kiss on the cheek? No, we barely know each other. I mean, we just met; ugh.

I just looked at her in shock.

Rayne

"So... I'll see you around?" I said, but it sounded more like a question. "Oh!" Then I took out a piece of paper and a pen. "In case I can't make it or something, uh... do you think I could have your number?" I asked awkwardly.

"Of course," I said earnestly, taking the pen and paper. I could feel his discomfort radiating around him as I scribbled down my cell phone and home phone number. "Can I have yours?"
