I giggled. "I wouldn't know, I've never tried any...besides, since nobody's tried eating them, we'll never know if they're toxic or not." I glanced at her quickly, just to make sure she wasn't eating them again.

"Maybe we should ask," I said with a grin at her younger sister.

"Ha! Like she would know how to explain...though she is quite gifted..." I trailed off, then beamed slightly. "Maybe we should!"

I smiled at Ella, charming her the way I'd done with countless other girls. "Great. I can start that tour now if you want?" I asked her.

OOC: Cat, when I see your siggy I think of the song All Star. She was looking kind of dumb with a finger and a thumb in the shape of an L on her forehead...

I nodded. "Yeah, I guess."

I laughed. "Well, let's hope they're not toxic, at the very least," I said with a serious nod.

I nodded. "Don't want to lose my baby girl so soon in her lifetime." I bit my lip.

"Baby girl, huh? Unique choice of words," I murmured. That particular choice of words strengthened my suspicions. I mean, Eileen looked too much older than the little girl to be her older sister... but I was probably just overhinking things.

"I think I like you better when you're not the towel bandit," I teased when I caught up to him.

Fear coursed through me, but I didn't let it show. "I've always called her that," I said cooly, my eyes narrowing slightly.

"Aww, don't knock the superpower unless you've tried it," I told her with a grin, walking backwards.

Rayne

"It's just a nickname you don't usually hear from an older sister," I commented with a shrug.

"Let me know when you meet an older sister who takes care of her sister without a mother. Then come back and tell me what you think," I said dryly.

I grinned back at him, "Guess I'm gonna have to not knock it, since I'm not trying it."

"You wouldn't be able to anyways. There's only room for one towel bandit in this town," I told her seriously.

I frowned a bit; I hadn't meant to make her mad. "What happened to your mom?" I asked quietly.

Storytime. "She was a drunk and wasn't taking care of my sister properly, so I took Bree and left," I said, huffing angrily for show.

I sighed dramatically, "But I wanna be something cool!"

"Hmmm..." I said, thinking. "You could be the lemon ninja!" I exclaimed, nodding seriously.

I frowned. "That sounds like it'd suck." I couldn't really think of anything else to say to that.

"Ohh, so you're dissing my blonde hair now?" I rolled my eyes and smirked.

"No, really?" I asked, sarcasm dripping in my tone. I knew I was being rude and making a bad first impression, but I had to defend myself...but maybe I was over-defending myself? Making my secret obvious? I bit my bottom lip slightly.

"Great," I smiled at Ella and took her hand. I led her towards out of the park and towards the center of town.

"Actually, it was the first thing that came to mind," I said honestly, grinning at her.

Rayne

I made a face and looked at the ground. Jesus. What the hell did she want me to say? "Well, I don't know how that feels, but I haven't seen my parents in six years and I have twin sons I'm not allowed to meet"? Yeah, that'd go over well.

"Thanks," I told him sarcastically.

"So, what is there to do in this town?" I asked.

I frowned. "Hey, are you okay? I'm sorry, I'm being harsh, I'm just very defensive when things come to my sister. She means a lot to me, and I can't bear to see anything bad happen to her again."

Adrian

I grinned. "Anytime," I said as we arrived at the cliff. "Tada," I said loudly.

Rayne

I shook my head. "No, I know how you feel. I mean... well, with a mom like that, it's understandable," I said with a small smile.

"Oh God," I murmured under my breath as I looked off the cliff.

"Second thoughts?" I asked quietly, glancing back to her.

I shook my head quickly. Fear was not something I was going to show.

I nodded, looking away, back at Bree. She was no longer playing with flowers, but watching butterflies and many different bugs fly around. She giggled as a ladybug landed on the back of her hand.
