I stumbled back a few steps, surprised, but kissed her back, wrapping my arms around her waist. Her stomach was kind of keeping us a bit apart, and I wanted to complain about it, but knew better.

"Thanks," I said sarcastically, rolling my eyes slightly at him. Normally I would've chewed him out for hinting that I was fat, but I knew the baby added some weight and he didn't mean it that way. Instead, I wrapped my arms around his neck and rested my head on his shoulder, thankful that he hadn't dropped me... yet.

I carried her over the kitchen, grunting occasionally with the effort. I carefully dropped her down into a chair at the kitchen table, then took a seat of my own. "Phew. You're lucky I have muscle."

I bit my lip, then let the smile through. "You're lucky that I'd probably kill the kid if I propelled myself over this table at you, so I'm not doing it. ... Yes. Yes, of course I'll marry you." And now I was crying. Not because I was sad, but because I was so damn happy. I blamed Destrian for putting my emotions on "high". I got up and waddled over to Andy, then hugged him tightly.
