I looked up at him and smiled weakly. "No, it's fine. I just... hate fighting," I said. I wasn't sure what was going on with my emotions, but I knew I didn't like the arguing or the depressed mood in this room. It just made me want to slam my head against the wall a few times. Besides, relationships were about compromise, right? Even if this wasn't technically a relationship.
