I yawned, pretending I was waking up now. Do I act like a rude jerk or a concerned friend? Eh, maybe I'll try concerned friend this time. "Oh my God," I gasped, getting up quickly. I slipped on a pair of sweatpants, then came up to Dawn, hands out in front of me, taking wary steps. "I...I'm so sorry."

Eileen
I helped Bree brush her teeth as I brushed my own, while trying to keep my curly hair from being overly curly. I quickly applied some makeup(mascara, blush, lipgloss, eyeshadow, the works) and then brushed my daughter's hair, kissing her forehead. I toasted us some bagels, covered them in butter, and we sat down on the couch in the living room to eat, turning the old, beatup television onto Dragon Tales.

Rayne

I stumbled out of the shower and did all my regular stuff, cologne, brushing my teeth, deodorant and such. Then I walked into the kitchen and made myself some toast, flipping on the TV to listen to the new as I did.

Dawn

I shook my head. "Don't be. We were drunk, right?" I sighed and finished tying my shoes. I really needed to get a shower... and to explain where I'd been. The old and overused hotel excuse was going to have to work. "Well, I gotta go. It was nice... meeting you, Andy," I said with a dry smile.

Andy
I leaned forward and hugged her gently. "Take care. I'll keep an eye out for you at the casino." I winked.

Eileen
As 11:30 rolled around, I started getting really nervous. I realized it had been almost five years since I had been on a date, or in a relationship. God. This is going to be...new.

[Callie]

Dawn

I made a face. "Yeah. Sorry to crush your hopes, but I wouldn't count on it," I said, heading out of the bedroom and shutting the door behind me before I went outside and took a guess on which way the casino was, then walked towards it. Honestly, I didn't want to be harsh on him, but I had a boyfriend, for Christ's sakes!

Rayne

When the time rolled around, I headed outside and got into my car, heading for the address she told me, and parking across from her house. Then I got out of the car, honking once and leaning against the door.

OOC: *assumes that it's the next day for Adrian too, since I'll need him, and that he gave Aubrey his number* xD

Adrian

I yawned and glanced at my alarm clock. Almost noon. Damn. And I was on babysitting duty today. I took a quick shower and threw some clothes on, brushing through my hair quickly, while searching the public areas of the house for anything that might give away my... disease. I shoved them into a drawer in my room. It was my business, and I hated people feeling sorry for me, like I knew Rayne would do if he found out. Maybe his date was the same way.

ooc: Is Aubrey at Adrian's house, then?

OOC: *le shrug* That's up to you.

Andy
I frowned. Damn, she could have made a good girlfriend. Ah, well. Just another loss for me. I've gotten pretty used to it, so I don't mind all that much. I flopped down on the couch and stared up at the ceiling.

Eileen
I picked Bree up gently, cradling her in my arms, shielding her, and headed outside. I closed the door behind me and ran out to meet Rayne. "Hi," I said breathlessly with a smile.

[Callie]

Rayne

"Hey," I said, returning her smile. "To Adrian's, then?"

Adrian

Once everything was hidden and such, I flopped down on the couch, staring up at the ceiling.

Dawn

I got back to Zack's house, and crept inside, hoping he was still asleep. He was. On the couch. I shut the door as quietly as I could, but when I turned around, he was sitting up and looking at me warily. "What happened?" he asked.
"I stayed out gambling too late and had to book a room at a hotel," I said with a sheepish smile, lying through my teeth. He wouldn't find out what had happened.
"Oh. Okay," he said and shrugged.
I headed back to the bathroom and took a shower, feeling... weird. Dirty. Of course Zack wouldn't question it; he didn't think I'd lie to him, but I had.

Aubrey

I yawned and crawled out of the bed in the guest room. Luckily, I'd gotten an extra pair of clothes. After changing I walked out to living room and found Adrian. "Morning."

Eileen
"Yes, of course." I opened the back door, sliding onto the seat, keeping Bree in my arms.

[Callie]

Adrian

I looked over to Aubrey and smiled. I'd forgotten that she stayed over. "Morning. By the way, I forgot to tell you yesterday, but the bathroom's that way," I said, pointing her to right. "We're gonna have company soon if you stick around for much longer. I'm babysitting."

Rayne

I got into the car, too, feeling like I was their driver or something. Too formal. I smiled slightly to myself and started the drive to Adrian's.

Aubrey

"Am I supposed to stick around?" I asked with a small smirk.

[Callie]

Adrian

I shrugged. "It might help. You're probably better with kids than I am."

[Ashley (;]

Aubrey

"Well, I doubt it. But I'll stay anyways," I replied with a small smile. Honestly? I sort of thought that little kids were adorable. There was just no way in hell I'd admit it.

[Callie]

Adrian

"Well, like I said, bathroom's that way, if you wanna take a shower. And I can almost guarantee you are. I tried babysitting once, and I turned on the TV, asked the kid what he wanted to watch, and he ran to his room, screaming. He didn't come out while I was there."

Eileen
I stared out the window as we drove through the town. "Hey, mister!" Bree called to Rayne in a tinkling voice. I bit my lip, holding back a laugh.

[Callie]

Rayne

"Yeah?" I said, looking in the mirror back at them.

Eileen
Bree giggled. "I saw you yes-ter-day!" she pronounced slowly. I chuckled silently.

[Callie]

Rayne

I laughed as we stopped at Adrian's house. "I saw you too," I told her teasingly, opening the back door for them.

Eileen
I carried Bree out and set her on the ground, taking her hand. She beamed at Rayne, and I smiled at them both as we walked up to the front door of the house.

Rayne

I knocked on the door and waited for Adrian to answer. I listened closely and I could hear him moving around. Then the door opened and he grinned. "I don't let strangers in unless they bring food," he said with a grin.
I rolled my eyes at him. "Adrian..."
"... but I suppose I could make an exception," he added, smirking as he stepped aside. "Come on in."

Eileen
I blinked, but urged Bree inside. "Hi, I'm Eileen," I said to Rayne's friend as I ushered Bree in. She threw herself at Rayne, clutching his leg. I smiled.

Andy
I could feel the hangover coming on, and I groaned. Plus the end of the LSD ride...ugh.

Dawn

I headed out of the bathroom once I was done with my shower to see the front door open, so I headed outside. Zack was shoving bags into the trunk of the car. "You ready?" he called to me. I nodded and walked out to him since I'd already put my bags in the car.

Adrian

I gave her an easy smile. "Eileen, nice to meet you. I'm Adrian. Rayne here's all sorts of excited about your guys' date," I told her, grinning as Rayne looked down and blushed heavily.
"Shut up," he muttered.
"Hey, Zack's not here yet, so it's my duty to pick on you like an older brother," I told him solemnly, nodding.
"I'm older than you," Rayne reminded me with a roll of his eyes.

Rayne

Adrian just shrugged, and I smiled slightly at Eileen's little sister, wondering how I'd detach her from my leg when the time came.

Eileen
I laughed, though I blushed too. "Bree, baby, come to Leeny," I crooned. Bree smiled and ran at me, and I threw her up into the air. She squealed as I caught her, and then nuzzled her face into my neck. "Who's Zack?" I questioned the two of them.

[Callie]

Adrian

"My twin. He's supposed to be coming to visit soon. Now it's just a matter of if he'll actually do it."

Eileen
"Oh. Great to know Bree will have plenty of people to watch her. If anything happens to her, I have the right to sue," I joked, grinning.

[Callie]

Adrian

"I'd really rather you didn't, since I'm not all that great with kids anyways, but that's why Audrey's here," I said with a grin.

Dawn

The music blared in the car and I could feel the awkward silence. I shut my eyes and just listened to the music, acting like there was nothing wrong, that I didn't feel guilty.

Zack

I frowned slightly when I looked over at Dawn. She seemed... weird today. "Wanna go to that casino you found the other night?" I asked her suddenly. "Y'know, before we stay at Adrian's for a while. We'll just drop off our stuff."
She seemed uncertain; something that never happened with Dawn and casinos. "Okay," she said finally. Slightly more satisfied, I stopped talking.

Aubrey

I smirked, "Apparently so."

Eileen
"Haha, well, we should be off," I said, looking up at Rayne. I kissed Bree's forehead and murmured, "Be good, baby girl. Don't cause any trouble." She nodded slightly, then ran off and jumped onto a couch. I shook my head, biting back laughter.

Adrian

"I don't think she will," I said, smiling as she hopped onto the couch.

Zack

I got out of the car and headed up to Adrian's door, Dawn after me. I knocked and waited for him to answer. I didn't have to wait long, and when Adrian opened the door, he was grinning. He hugged me and looked back to Dawn. "Hmm, decent. I think you could've done better."
"Better watch it, Adrian," she warned, but she was smirking.
"Good to see you again, too, Adrian," I said, shaking my head and laughing slightly.
