I finished up with everything and walked down to the cafeteria for breakfast, running into Cooper on the way. "You look like shit," I observed.

After a few minutes I walked down to the cafeteria and saw Damian, Cooper and Avery. I went to grab some food, even though I wasn't hungry.

I saw that Angel girl, but I avoided her. Things got awkward when it was just her and me. I walked into the cafeteria after her and grabbed an apple before sitting down at Avery's table. "Morning."

"Morning sunshine," I said teasingly, grinning at him. "Sleep well?" I looked around at everyone for this.
"Not exactly," Cooper said with a roll of his eyes. "Gabe was snoring."
Damian grinned. "I slept wonderfully. My roommate didn't even recognize me," he said proudly.

I opened my eyes to face a strange ceiling. Oh right. I sat up in the bed and looked around. I was in a crappy hotel. Though it still felt like freedom, despite the weird smell. I smiled.

I quickly walked out the cafeteria before anyone could tell me that I wasn't allowed to bring food outside the room and hurried up to Ciana's room. I knocked on the door once when I got back, but it was unlocked. "Here's a toast for you, my lady," I said with a smirk as I put the toast on her bedside table.
