Michaela

After a bit longer, I pulled away, blushing slightly. "Ehm... yeah... I'm gonna go get you a sleeping bag or something then..."

Micah

I looked at Holly curiously. The way she said it made it sound like they knew each other. "Well, you're the mind reader. I don't know why the hell he's here."
"Ahh, but Psychic Holly can't read my mind, big brother," Silas said, smirking.
"So you do know each other?" I asked.
He shrugged. "Small world," he remarked dryly.
"Why can't she read your mind?"
"I'll need a five dollar bill to tell you."
I gave him a confused look, but took a 5 out of my pocket and handed it to him.
Silas took it, pocketed it, and shrugged. "I have no idea."
I rolled my eyes; he'd tricked me.

Dallas
I blushed a little too. "Yeah, ok.." I sat down on her couch as she left to go get it.
Holly
I laughed. "Even I can't read his mind and I knew that was a trick," I told Micah smirking. "So you're brothers?" I asked, frowning again. Really small world....

Michaela

I went into my room and pulled a sleeping bag out of the closet, then dragged it into the living room and set it down.

Silas

"Half-brothers," I corrected.
"Yeah, we only have the same mom."
"Had," I muttered sourly.

Holly
I looked form one to the other. "Uh, sorry I asked..."
Dallas
"Thanks, Michaela. Night." I said smiling, sliding form the couch to the floor onto the sleeping bag.

Silas

It took a minute, but then I waw back to myself. "Don't be. The past is the past and the future's what we're stuck with, right?" I shrugged and looked at Micah. "D'you mind if I stay here for a while?" I asked him quietly.

Michaela

"Night," I answered softly, shutting the light off and walking back to my room. I changed my pajamas, since I was still soaking wet from the pond.

Holly
I sat down in a chair and tried to ignore their conversation. That past and future thing sounded like something I'd say.
Dallas
I slid into the bag and shut my eyes, quickly dozing off.

Silas

"Well, I... I -"
"C'mon, spit it out. Just reject me and we can movr on with our lives," I said, tapping my foot impatiently.
"Of course you can," Micah said, nodding.
"Yeah, oka - wait. Did you say I could?"
He nodded again.
"Wow. Well... thanks." I seriously couldn't believe he didn't mind. I mean... sure, I was his little brother, but we were never very close or anything.

"Yup," I said and smiled as I laid down on the couch, caressing my stomach with my hands. "I think she needs a boyfriend though."

Eliott

"Aww..." I frowned. "You must have dated jerks then. If a guy really, really cares about you then he won't be bothered if you work too much."

Holly
I smirked. "If he lets me stay here I think he would let you, Silas." I said matter-of-factly. I realized I'd never told him how we had met and why the hell I was staying here. Oh well, he'd ask if he wondered.

Ian

I laughed. "Why don't you set her up on a blind date?" I asked with a grin.

Alessandra

I smiled slightly. "Well, I guess I tend to be more attracted to the jerks. Damn jerk sense," I joked.

Silas

"You're staying here?" I asked Holly curiously. Then I smirked and looked at Micah. "Isn't she a bit below your allotted age group?" I asked him.
He just rolled his eyes. "She has nowhere else to go; same as you."

Ok, ewww. He was 22. I was friggin 14. "He found me in a park. Well, I found him, since his thoughts were sorta....weird, but still."

Silas

I grinned widely. "Weird thoughts? Were you being naughty, Micah?"
"Oh my God, shut up, Silas," he groaned.

Holly
I laughed. "No, nothign like that. Saying people like me don't exist, etc. Boy did I prove him wrong." I smirked.

[Callie]

Silas

"Yeah... Micah doesn't really believe in much. He has to see something to actually even start thinking it might be real. Like the stork. That never happened, though."
He looked at me weirdly. "Storks are real, though... aren't they?"
"Dur. They just don't carry babies to random people who write in, telling him they wanna be parents."
Micah stuck his tongue out at me. "I knew that."

Holly
I giggled a little. "He made me lay his thoughts out in front of him before he believed me."

[Callie]

Silas

I smirked. "Sounds like him. Anyways, I'm gonna use the shower, because I stink."


OOC: Shall we pretend Silas doesn't look like his picture yet? I imagine you wouldn't look that nice after living on the streets for so long. xD So he'll look like that after his shower and such, so Micah and Holly can be surprised at the difference.

"Okay then.' I said grabbing the remote again. "Good, you didn't change it." I told Micah.

"I was too lazy to pick up the remote," I joked, even though I liked this show. She already knew that, though.

Silas

I was done with the shower in about ten minutes, which used to be really long for me, but apparently I needed more time now that I hadn't had one in God only knows how long. I put a towel around myself and crept into Micah's room, stealing some of his clothes and putting them on. Then I grabbed a brush and ran it through my hair. My eyes widened at how much I didn't look like a hobo anymore. Weird shit. When I was all dressed and presentable, I joined Micah and Holly on the couch. "What are we watching?" I asked them cheerfully.
"Who are you?" Micah asked with a smirk, looking from my hair to my clothes. "And why are you wearing my clothes?"
"It was that or the bath curtain."

My eyes widened at his appearance. Honestly, he looked sexy. But I wouldn't admit that. I focused my gaze back to the TV, not saying anything. It was awkward being the girl and having two guys for company.

Silas

"So, Holly, what d'you think, do I clean up nice?" I asked her with a grin.

[Emmy]

Holly
"Yeah, sure. Whatever." I said simply, not looking at him.

[Callie]

Silas

"Aww, you're being shy! That's cute."
Micah shook his head. "Silas, I'd shut up if I were you."
"Obeying the master," I said, pretending to zip my lips.

Holly
I shot a death glare at him, then turned back to the TV.

I nodded. "I suppose I could... but with who?"

Eliott

I smiled slightly. "Don't worry, you'll find someone and when you do, that guy will be lucky to have you!"

I shrugged. "No idea. I just moved here, remember?"

Alessandra

I smiled back at him. "Thanks," I said quietly.

Selena

I pouted. "Well I don't know anyone! Socially handicapped, remember?" I said and pointed to myself.

Eliott

"Well it's true," I said with a shrug. Wow, I hadn't realized how awkward things had gotten now.

"Well, uh... I think you've gotten the hang of the whole dancing thing," I said with a small smile. "Oh! Before I forget..." I opened my purse and dug through it. "Shit..." I muttered. "I forgot the invitation selections..." They were at Ian and Selena's. "But... um... I know where they are. I was going to give them to Lola myself, but you could get them to her, right?"

"Not anymore!" I protested. "You haven't stuttered in over a month."

"Of course, of course," I said and nodded. "You want me to drive you to... wherever they are?" I asked her politely.

Selena

I rolled my eyes and sighed. "Yeah, but I only hang out with you, Alessandra and Nessie anyway. So, that doesn't count. My old self didn't have friends," I pointed out.

Alessandra

I shook my head. "Nah, I can drive. But it'd be easier if you just came with."

Ian

"Well... all my so-called friends are in London."

Eliott

"Fair enough," I said with a smile. "Lets go then." I stood up and walked out of her house, seeing another car in the driveway. I assumed it was hers so I walked toward it.

Selena

"We need more friends," I said and laughed before resting my head on his lap.
