Dallas
After Michaela left I got really, really bored, so I decided to go back out to the pond even though it was nighttime. I thought it'd be cool. I got up and walked back out there, suddenly having second thoughts about jumping right in. It looked so...black... Well of course it does, you idiot. My mind told me.
Holly
I walked through Micah's door with no knocking or anything. "Hi, I got bored," I explained, plopping down on a chair.

[Callie]

Micah

"Understandable," I answered simply, still lounging comfortably on the couch.

[Emmy]

Holly
"So, what were ya watchin?" I asked adjusting my position on the chair.
Dallas
Well, here goes nothing...I changed in midair like always and jumped in. I knew immediately it was the wrong thing to do, since I landed on something scaly. Crap. Must be a monster house at night. I popped back up to the surface and tried to get out but only managed to scratch the edge of the pond a little as the thing grabbed me with it's hand thing and pulled me down to the caves.
I hope Michaela came back soon.

Micah

I shrugged. "Something boring, apparently, considering I fell asleep to it," I informed her with a small smile.

Michaela

While I was brushing my teeth, I got this weird feeling. Like... I didn't know, but something was wrong. As Dallas was the only one I was remotely close to other than the old lady librarian, I spit the toothpaste out, rinsed, put some shoes on and raced to his house, not even caring that I probably looked like crap. I knocked on the door and waited a few minutes, but no one answered, and I couldn't help thinking maybe he was at the lake again, and someone else had found out about what he was. The next thing I knew, I was sprinting for the lake. When I got there, I looked around, ripping a branch off a tree. Closest thing around here to a weapon. "Dallas?" I called cautiously.

Dallas
Whatever grabbed me had disappeared and I was being glared at by a real mermaid, I guessed. She looked...well, evilish. "Who are you?" I asked more in shock than fear.
"You worst nightmare," she hissed.
Holly
I laughed. "can I have the remote?"

[Callie]

Michaela

When I didn't get an answer, I took a deep breath and clutched the stick in my hand before I dived underwater and squinted, trying to see. I could see a faint white a long way away, and I swam towards it. Dallas's hair was white; maybe it was him.

Micah

"Help yourself."

[Emmy]

Dallas
I heard a churning above; but it was faint, so the other one couldn't hear it. I kept talking so she wouldn't. "Uh, but mind telling me who you actually are?" I asked loudly.
"Ugh. God, you haven't figured it out? Same eyes as you, same blue hair...well, you have highlights of it." She paused, waiting for a guess. WHen I didn't give one she sighed heavily. "I'm your mother, sherlock."
Holly
"Yay!" I squealed snatching the remote and immediately turning on a crime show.

OOC: I thought Dallas's mom was a angel and his dad was a mer...person.

Michaela

I could hear... talking? Merpeople, definitely. I swam a bit quicker, then I saw them. Dallas and... a woman who sort of looked like him.

Micah

"Crime, huh?" I asked her, sitting up on the couch. Good choice, though I rathered to pointlessly stupid cop shows, like Reno 911.

Dallas
My eyes widened. "Uh...say what, now?" I asked her, very, very confused. She seemed too young, for one; and she...was...just kinda evil... I swam back to the pond entrance, my back to Michaela, who I know full well was there. "Well..uh...gotta go, mom!" I said quickly jumping back into the water and grabbing Michaela's hands, darting back up to the surface. I pushed her out first and then myself.
Holly
I smirked. "You have such GREAT taste. I like Bones better."

Michaela

"Bad sneak attack," I muttered to myself, looking over to Dallas. "What was up with that?" I asked him.

Micah

"Bones, huh? Well, it's okay, I suppose. I prefer NCIS and Las Vegas, myself," I said with a small smirk. "As my non-stupid shows."

[Emmy]

Dallas
"No clue. I hope she doesn't come up to su-- ahhhh, crap. Move away from the pond, Michaela. Now." I commanded and looked at the angry mermaid. She looked really, really angry. "I was talking to you, it's not polite to do that. And...Oh my God. She's a human."
Holly
"NCIS is good too. Abby for the win." I grinned and sunk lower in the chair.

Michaela

I did as he said, backing away from the pond. I made a face when the woman mermaid he'd been talking with came to the surface. I really wanted to shoot a sarcastic remark back at her, but decided I probably shouldn't confirm her suspicions. So I stayed quiet.

Micah

"I'm high-fiving you in my mind in agreement," I told her with a grin. "Can you tell?"

[Emmy]

Dallas
"What? Now, what gave you that suspicion?" I said coolly, changing back into a human and gazing at her. She fumed more.
"I know things Dallas. Don't expect to go into this pond again and live. Do you hear me?" She then turned around and dove back in. I looked at Michaela wearily. "At least she's gone."
Holly
I grinned. "Oh, I can tell." I put the TV back on guide and looked for NCIS somewhere."

"Who is she, anyways?" I asked him curiously.

Micah

I just smiled as she searched the TV guide.

[Emmy]

Dallas
"No idea. She claimed to be my mother...but...I really don't believe that. I mean, you saw how young she looked." I frowned. "Michaela, let's just go back to our houses. How did you know I was in trouble, anyway?" I asked the last part curiously.
Holly
"HAH! FINALLY!" I yelled when I found one. I grinned and hit select, and the TV changed to a scene with Abby's lab.

Personality: Serious, sarcastic, cold, loner, tough, untrusting.
Bio: Silas has been living on his own since he was nine years old, when his mom died. He never knew who his dad was, so that was out of the question. He could've stayed with his mom's ex-husband, but that guy wasn't really his dad, and he sort of disappeared once Silas's mom died, anyways. So he left, and wandered around all on his own. Silas started to steal for a living, and he still does. He's actually quite sneaky, and a damn good pickpocket. In other words, if Silas gets them talking, they won't realize their wallet's gone until Silas is safely gone... as well as their wallet. Lately, Silas spends a lot of time around a small sort of pond/lake place. He's always felt very... at ease near water, so that's where he can usually be found.

"Good timing," I said with a grin.

Michaela

I shrugged. "I have no idea."

Silas

I munched on the apple in my hands as I headed for the usual lake. It was about the time I was usually out here, so I didn't actually expect anyone to be there, since there never was. Apparently, though, I was wrong. I saw two people up ahead of me (Dallas and Michaela, in case you didn't figure it out xD), but neither looked like thry had much on them.

I smiled. "Just felt it huh? We must be bonding." I put my arm around her shoulders. "I'll walk you home."
Holly
I grinned. "I rock." I said simply, putting the remote back on his coffee table thing and curling up in the chair.

I made a face to myself about him seeing my crappy apartment, but I nodded anyways. I didn't want him to leave yet. As we walked, I saw a boy walking the way we'd just left. "Hey!" I called. He didn't look very old... he couldn't be more than 16.
He seemed to be thinking about listening or not when he stopped and turned to face us. "I, uh... are you alright?"
He just nodded.
"Well... where are your parents?"
"Dead," he answered bluntly.
I frowned a bit. "Come here," I said gently.
He took a step closer.
"I'm not in the mood for games; come here," I said firmly.
I could've sworn I saw a smirk on his face as he walked the rest of the way to Dallas and I, but it disappeared as abruptly as it had come.
"Who are you?"
"Silas Adams, at your service, ma'am," he replied, sounding amused. "And, if it makes any difference, my dad's not dead. At least, I don't think. I never met him. My stepbrother's probably alive somewhere, too."
"What are their names?" I asked patiently.
"My stepbrother's name's Micah Jones. My mom told me my dad was named Jayden somethingorother." he shrugged.

I took a step closer to Michaela. I didn't trust kids out here in the middle of the night like this. I wondered what Michaela thought she could get out of this. But then I heard then father's name. "Wait wait wait WAIT. JAYDEN?" I asked incredulously, my eyes widening.

I walked up the streets, heading to my apartment. I'd just fed. I should be okay.

Silas

"Yup..." I said, raising an eyebrow at the guy. "What, is he Satan in a human suit or something?"
The girl just looked confused.

Micah

"Suuuure," I said sarcastically, grinning.

[Emmy]

Holly
I looked at him and stuck my tongue out. "You're just jealous." I sat in the chair for another minute and frowned. "Okay, I've gotten bored. Again. Seeya later." I said jumping out of the chair and walking out. I wondered where I should go. I shrugged to myself and started down the street, soon coming upon two guys and a girl. Immediately I knew something was wrong with the younger one. I couldn't hear him.
Dallas
"No. Jayden....he's the vampire/werewolf hybrid that leads the mystics of the city. But you look human. Why would he have a human son...?" I asked mostly to myself.

[Callie]

Silas

I shrugged. "Maybe he has fucked up genetics? I mean, give me twenty bucks if I'm right, but aren't you supposed to be a werewolf or a vampire, and not both?"

Michaela

I thought about this to myself for a minute. The kid was a smartass, but he made sense.

Micah

"Okay, seeya later!" I called after her, continuing to watch NCIS.

Dallas
"Good guess, but nah. Number One Rule: Don't fall in love with humans." I imitated his voice perfectly for the rule recitation.
Holly
I tried harder to burst into his mind but I couldn't do it. I was getting frustrated! Why couldn't I do this???!!!! Calm, Holly....calm down.....One more try....

"So either I'm a mystic and I didn't know it, or..." I grinned mischieviously, "he broke his own rule."

Dallas
I laughed at the thought. "You're definitely human. Ha-ha, Jayden broke his own rule...wait till he hears about this."
Holly
"Alright, what the hell?!" I marched up to the guy and tapped his shoulder. "Why can't I read your mind?"

Silas

I turned to look at the girl. Why couldn't she read my mind? Weird shit. "Because I'm half unicorn," I told her very seriously.

"Or maybe not human...." I mumbled, looking at Michaela.
Holly
I clenched my fists. "THAT explains alot." I said sarcastically, poking his forehead to see if I could get better reception or something. Nope. "Gahhhh, I've never had to work to read someone's mind before."

Silas

"I thought it did," I said with a shug. "If you give me time, I'm sure I can come up with something much better. I was dropped on the head as a child, maybe. Tried yo eat a surround sound system. Or my personal favorite, I put bacon in the soap and that was the end of it."

Michaela

I shrugged and grinned at Dallas. "You really think he's half unicorn?" I asked teasingly.

"HMmmmmmmmmm...." I pretended to think for a minute then grinned. "Probably not or he'd have horse legs."
Holly
I had to laugh at the last one. But it still didn't answer my question. "You're a weird human." I said bluntly.
Jayden
I heard a few voices around the corner that I recognized. Holly and Dallas. What were they up to now...?

"I know; I make it seem effortless." I smirked.

Michaela

"Maybe he has a horn but his hair's hiding it," I suggested with a grin.
