Terrance
I looked down at the ground, grimacing slightly. "She's the elf that Isaac conscripted earlier today, Dameon."

Caralyn
"Plan on getting me out of this?" I asked innocently, taking a step back. He just shot me a glare, like this was my fault or something. "Where's Isaac?"

Terrance
"Over by the fire," I said. "Dameon, think about this, please. Before you go and say anything to him, remember he's trying to do what's best. If we didn't have all these recruits, there's a chance we lose. If we lose, the Blight takes over and everyone dies. If we don't recruit these people, they die anyways. And he wouldn't've recruited them if he didn't think they had a chance." If I listened to myself, I knew it probably sounded like I was pleading, but I knew Isaac was trying to do what was best, even if it involved risking a few people's necks. If it saved Thedas, wasn't it better?

Dameon
I frowned. Terrance had a winning argument, whether I wanted to agree with him or not. If Caralyn was a Grey Warden, there was a good chance she'd get killed in battle. But if we didn't have enough of them, she'd end up dead anyways. "I still think we don't need her here. She's not going to be of much help anyways."
Caralyn
"Excuse me?" I asked, staring at him incredulously. "I could take you down in seconds!" What was with me? First I wanted out, and now I wanted to prove I was worth keeping? I'd gone mad.

Terrance
I shrugged. "Maybe she's changed since you left. It happens sometimes," I remarked quietly, frowning a bit at him. I hated arguing with Dameon, but I hated it even more when he went to confront Isaac about what he did. He'd saved me from the Chantry, and he'd been like a dad to me ever since. People acting like he was useless or in the wrong got on my nerves, honestly. Sometimes even if he was in the wrong. But he wasn't. Not this time.

Dameon
I nodded slightly, "Well, then I guess we'll have to see. I'm still going to at least talk to Isaac."

Terrance
I sighed softly. "Well, it's not my sister. I guess if I had one, maybe I could see what you were talking about. Besides, we both know I can't stop you from doing anything you're set on."

Dameon
I smirked slightly, "True enough." With that, I walked off to where Isaac was. "I need to discuss something with you," I told him quietly.

Terrance
I looked back over to Dameon's supposed sister, Caralyn, and shrugged slightly. "I'm... sorry. About earlier. If I offended you or... or anything."
Isaac
I looked up to Dameon and nodded slowly. I assumed he wanted to have a talk about why I'd recruited women into the Grey Wardens. "Take a seat," I said, motioning to the spot on the log beside me. We had time before the battle began... I hoped.

Caralyn
"You're fine," I mumbled. Sure, Dameon, just leave me with the socially awkward one. Thanks.
Dameon
I sat down on the log silently for a moment, making an attempt to word this correctly beforehand. "I understand you need to recruit... different people for the Grey Wardens, and I'm trying to respect that. But the girl you found today... She's my sister."

Terrance
"Thanks." I stared at the ground for a few moments before looking up at her. "Still got your escape plans?"
Isaac
That caught my attention. I looked up at him, and my face fell. "Your... Dameon... I'm sorry."

Caralyn
I nodded with a smirk, "Obviously. Planning on joining me or something of the sort?"
Dameon
"You didn't know, I don't blame you," I replied quickly. "There wouldn't happen to be a way you'd get her out of this before it gets bad, would there?"

Terrance
I shrugged. "I don't think I could if I wanted to. I was just wondering if you were leaving Dameon stuck here with me. You really wanna put the poor guy through that?" I asked her with a small smile.
Isaac
I shook my head sadly. "Once you're in, you're in. You know that," I said, running a hand through my hair. I didn't want to put any of them through this, but I guess it was a price we had to pay to save the world.

Caralyn
I bit back a grin, and looked at the ground so he wouldn't see how amused I was, "True. He'd be in utter turmoil with the lack of sanity here."
Dameon
I nodded slightly. There wasn't much of a point in arguing further when I already understood that he couldn't do anything.

I scratched the back of my head and grinned at her. "I'm pretty sure he's already lost his; he might fit in."
Isaac
"I'm sorry," I repeated, frowning.

"Don't get too cocky - if you don't escape, it'll just spread to you," I told her with a smirk. "Speaking of, I'm supposed to bring you and the other recruits back to Isaac."
Isaac
I frowned slightly. "Either way. Would you mind helping Terrance round up the rest of the recruits?"

I stopped smirking, "... Why? What does he want?"
Dameon
I nodded, "Alright, if I can manage to find him again."

IsaacI chuckled. "I think you should work on finding the recruits, rather. Or... at least the mage," I said, frowning slightly. I didn't like giving orders really; specific orders even less, but if Terrance was forced to go find a mage and she got on his nerves, things probably wouldn't end well, and that would be bad. TerranceI grimaced at her. "Well, I'm supposed to get you so we can begin the ritual." I just hoped she wouldn't try to resist at the ritual... That had happened once. The man had tried to draw his weapon, and Isaac had been forced to kill him. If she was really this opposed, though... I didn't know if he knew that she was. "You could try appealing to him to see if he'll let you go. I know Isaac; he won't try to keep you here if you really don't want to be here." OOC: He'll make her stay if she has nowhere to go, but if she doesn't want to be a Warden, he'll see if he can just get her a spot in the king's army. I recommend she has a change of heart right about now. For her own sake.
