If you were a hired assasin you see their eyes before they die. All of their fear and sadness is stuck with you for the rest of your life. I had my hand clutched on the pommel of my blade. I was prepared if he was going to try to fight me.

OOC: Redcliffe Village, Jade.  And Isaac is set on her not coming. If she shows up at the camp after following him silently, though, he'll take some persuading, but he won't send her back. So she could just say okay, then walk off, and then follow him real quiet-like. xD IsaacI shook my head. "I have no idea what you're talking about, but I won't get you involved with..." I shooky my head again, then went back to walking quickly away, though some part of me told me I'd be stopping again to tell her off and try to get her to leave once more. |

I crossed my arms. "That's not fair." I watched him walk away but I decided I was going. I didn't care what he said. So I just stayed quiet and followed him from behind. I would hide everytime he would look back

Surprisingly, I didn't have to stop. She was gone, without another word. I smiled slightly, relieved. Dying at such a young age was something I wished I didn't have to put onto anyone, let alone people that were around 18. That meant they only had about half their life left. Some Grey Wardens made it pretty old, though. I used to know that had made it to 53 before his dreams came back and he died.

I didn't get why I couldn't go. I had been sent after some dangerous people. He didn't seem like he was stopping anytime soon, and was confused as to where we were going. I thought, for a second, that maybe I should turn back, but I followed him out of curiosity

I reached the Korcari Wilds first, and headed through them simply because I didn't feel like going through the hassle of verifying my identity with the guards today. I walked into the camp and looked around. Terrance and Dameon seemed to still be showing the new recruits around, so I sat down by the fire.

"What the..." I mumbled when we went through the wilds. We finally got to what seemed like a camp and the guy sat by the fire. I figured he wouldn't kill me with all these people around so I went and stoof right behind him. "So this is where I'm not supposed to go?"

"The cause of the Blight. It makes the darkspawn come to the surface, instead of just the Deep Roads of Orzammar. It takes them a while, but eventually the darkspawn find an Old God - I can't really figure out how to explain that one - and somehow... combine it with something else to make an archdemon. The cause of all the chaos."

I chuckled. "Yes, this is the Grey Warden-dom. I should mention it's not all it's cracked up to be. But that's more for you to find out after your Joining." I ran a hand through my hair as I realized how many people would be going through the Joining tonight. It was almost as many as there was when I did. I wondered how many of them would make it. Only one out of my group had died, but, according to Isaac, there were usually more than that, especially in such large groups.

The whole Blight is dangerous. And wrong." I was running out of arguments, but I didn't want someone so young throwing the rest of their life away to kill these evil beings that should be somewhere beneath the Earth where no one had to see them in the first place!
