"Because I have free will," I said sarcastically. "Are you coming?"

"I... I... what?" Thomas said, falling to the ground and looking at me with wide eyes. "Jude... what..."
"You heard the beautiful woman, Thomas. Start talking," I said, walking around him and smirking slightly.
He stared at the ground, refusing to look at me. "What about?"
"The dead hobos, of course..."
"What dead..." he sighed. "Jude, we both know... that wasn't... me..."
"Shh," I said over him. With that, I detached the leg from a nearby chair and shoved it through his heart. I was right next to his ear when I whispered, "Payback's a bitch, Thomas" in his ear. I straightened and saluted the girl. "Thanks for the help, my dear," I said with a sly smile before making my escape out the nearest window. I didn't know where to go now, but it was obvious that away from the scene of the crime was the best choice.

''Really?" I asked just then I heard a loud crack and a muffled moan. ''Did you hear that?" I asked as I ran off towards the sound, I found a guy laying on his back looking utterly bewildered. So that's where the smell came from

I lit a match and threw it on the body. Leeches were better than gasoline when it came to starting fires, before escaping the house just as quick. You win this round leech, but I will have your heart on the end of my stake before this is all over I thought before heading east ward until I was in the slums.

I was wondering around the town, having many womens heads turn to stare I winked at each one. But lucky for them I didn't need anything from them at the time. I really did wonder where Arielle could have gone, Iris was probably getting pissed.

"Misbehave? You're trying to use your siren charms on me, when your God-given gifts would probably work just as well!" I sighed. This wasn't working out correctly. I was not supposed to be complimenting the siren. "Fine. I'll just leave you here, then."

I was just walking around, minding my own business (let's go with that, okay?), when I saw a guy fall out of a tree. Bored, I naturally walked over to make sure he was okay. "That was classy. You gonna make it?" I asked him, glancing at the other guys that had apparently beaten me here.

I stopped to look at the girl who showed up. She was definitly a nice treat to the gang of merry men. ''No what is it?" I asked Storm confused.
''Don't mind me I'm totally fine here." The guy interjected.
''That's good did, your neck break your fall?"
''Luckily it was thanks for your concern smart ass."
I couldn't help but laugh at him.

I heard the blare of the fire engines as they started putting out the fire. I had an odd hollow feeling. I didn't grant leeches mercy, but I had a feeling my little dumbass had some 'splaning to do the next time I found him. Well shit looks like I'm playing guardian angel after all. I thought annoyed as I debated looking for some hobos.

I looked the girl over again, and then at the guy as he dusted himself off, but looked rather bored with us. ''Shapeshifter I take it for you both?" I asked. He nodded, before turning into an eagle and taking off. ''I wonder who the unlucky vampire was?" I asked as I looked to see smoke billowing near the slum area.

I nodded. "Yeah. I won't take off flying, though." Then I shrugged. "No idea. Maybe a hunter got a hold of him."
"It happens to the best of us," said a solemn voice from behind me.
I whirled around to come face-to-face with Jude. I eyed him warily. "What did you do?" I asked him cautiously.
"Me?" he asked, wide-eyed and innocent. "Absolutely nothing."

With that she hit me in the back of the head I sighed.

''We still can't find Arielle, however our little guest is checking into a hotel, should I send the boys over to grab her?"
''No, no, not yet. We need to make sure we have the right one first." I said smiling mischievously, as I looked for a soul splitting spell.

I saw the library nearby and stopped, taking the blindfold off. I waved at her and paused awkwardly. "Thank you," I said, feeling... uncertain. I wasn't used to not killing whoever we interrogated when we were done. Why did I want to save this girl?

I just laughed as she headed off. "Ouch," I remarked to myself before glancing over to Shane, then turning the other way and starting to walk off somewhere that would hopefully be more interesting. Like... off to sniff out that lovely vampire hunter, for instance. In other words, she was definitely more interesting.

I smiled slightly at the guy. "And you have no idea how thankful I am that you're volunteering. You got bored of the shameless flirting from Jude too, then?" I grinned at him a bit.

After beating the punching bag into submission, I decided to shower off, I smelled like burnt leech anyway. I plot down on my coach after getting out of the shower and putting a fresh pair of clothes on, I also wondered vaguely of that vampire I run into. I decided to take a quick cat nap seeing how I was going to have to babysit some hobos tonight, Great...
