"Where are we taking her?" I asked curiously, following along.

Spencer

His story brought back the flash back of my parents murder, and I imaged the pain they went through. ''That is why I hate leeches." I said in a cold tone, before realizing current company. ''Oh, well not all. That must of been so awful to go through." I said in a chipped voice. I didn't like the emotions I was going through around Jude. He was like an extraterrestrial a being from another world. Yet I felt sympathy for him, and actually enjoyed his company. What the hell is wrong with me? I asked myself.

Ezra

''But of course, who doesn't like a little mystery roleplay," I said with a smirk. As we tailed the strange guy and girl leaving in a rather quick step.

Syrius

''To the big bad dragon lady," I said with a smirk.
''Well hurry up, I don't feel like walking all day in these heels." the girl piped up in a bored voice.

[Callie]

Shane

"My point exactly," I said with a smile, following after him.

Jude

I raised an eyebrow. "What did they - we... do to make you hate us anyways?" I asked. For some reason, around her, I was forgetting that I was a vampire. A creature of the night. Damned. "And that's why I had to kill Thomas... in case you were wondering."

Sydney

"Ofcourse I know what youare...but im still deciding on what side of the coin you lay, I really dont want to kill you but if mine or anybody's life is in danger then im afraid I will." I looked at him knowing it would be a shame if I had to destroy him.

Spencer

I gave him a small smile, then told him the sad tale. ''I was just a little girl. And I heard a commotion. I assumed it was a burglar my family is very well of you see." I took a deep steady breath. ''But that thing was a burglar it was a monster." My tone grew colder as I continued. ''I watch him drain my mother 's blood. My father tried to fight him off of her, but the leech broke his neck and then finished my dad off too. I even tried he must of decided he was full so he just tossed me into a wall, and broke three of my ribs." I sadistic smile spread across my face, ''But I got my revenge, I hunted that leech with no forgiveness, and when I finally found him. I tortured him for hours until, finally leaving his weakened state to roast in the sun." It felt nice to open up about this with Jude. But I assumed he'd run away now. Which is probably for the best, right?

Syrius

''It's so nice of you to come willingly, love." I said in a silky voice, she simply rolled her eyes and followed behind Arielle.

Ezra

I crept silently behind the group, at a nonchalant pace with Shane. ''What do you think they're up to?" I whispered.

Jasper

''Sure, you jest." I said with mock horror. ''If I was the bad guy you'd already be dead." I said in a false menacing voice. Before flashing her a huge smile.

Arielle

"Are you using your powers on her, or is she actually coming by herself?" I whispered in Syrius's ear as I sped up a bit to keep up with him.

Jude

I winced slightly at the thought of the sun. I'd made the mistake of it touching me slightly once, when I'd just been turned. It had left a third degree burn on my hand that didn't heal for a month. "That sounds... well, painful." I did miss the sun though. Sometimes. Not that I'd tell her that. I didn't want to come across as a sap, or, worse yet, a weak vampire.

Shane

I shrugged. "A hypnotic kidnapping?" I guessed. "Or a siren," I added under my breath.

Syrius

I sighed, ''Her own free will it seems." I said with mock disappointment.

Jasmine

I was bored with these two siren's, but knew running away wouldn't do anything. I just trudge on after them.

Ezra

I smirked, ''Well Siren's aren't know for their battle skills." ''Why do they even want that girl?" I asked a bit confused.

Spencer

''He deserved it." I said in a flat tone. But what if the vampire who had killed your family had been Jude? My subconscience asked me as I looked at him for a moment. That'd be different he didn't ask to be made into what he was. I assured myself. I smiled slightly. ''So being a vampire, do you know of any suspicious activities going on lately?" I asked him in an easier voice, I didn't like the idea of comparing Jude to a leech.

[Callie]

Shane

I shrugged. "I'm fresh out of creative ideas. Once I get back from the store, I'll let you know."

Jude

I thought for a moment, then slowly shook my head. "A girl that tried to steal my wallet did say something about getting back to headquarters, though," I told her.

Ezra

''Hmmm, maybe she knows some stuff. Maybe they're a deranged gang of sirens." I said smirking a bit at how crazy that sounds.

Spencer

''You let someone steal your wallet. Are you even a vampire?" I asked teasing him. Though the headquarters thing sounded odd.

Arielle

I gave the girl a weird look, biting back asking why she'd do that.

[Callie]

Shane

"Maybe. Ya never know these days," I said with a small smirk.

Jude

I laughed. "Sadly, yes, the last I checked. And I didn't let her take it - I went after her."

[Jadey!]

Sydney

"I do not die easily...But yes I joke...I know what side of the coin you lay...I can see truth in your eyes." I smiled

Jasmine

I looked at the female siren and smiled knowingly. ''I knew going with you two was the only way I'd live." I said in a bored tone, as we crossed the street to city hall.

Ezra

I noticed where they were going. ''Maybe they're cops and she has a fine?" I asked though that sound more bogus than my first guess.

Spencer

''Still, you're a vampire who got pick-pocketed it's pretty funny." I said with a smile. I was growing bored of sitting so I stood up and stretched. ''So do you have any more friends you think we should come visit?" I asked with a smile.

Jasper

I smiled at her. ''Well, good I would definitely say I'm far from crazed and blood thirsty anymore."

[Callie]

Shane

I chuckled. "Undercover cops?"

Jude

"None that I can find," I retorted with a dry smile, freezing as I smelled a familiar scent outside. I'd thrown the front door open in a second, but there was no one there. I frowned, then happened to look down and see a blue piece of paper. I carefully picked it up and opened it. It was written in fancy script and I had a sickening feeling in my gut of exactly who it was before I even saw the signature.

Jude,

Still trying to pretend you can actually fit in with the humans? Such a pity. You should embrace your strength, you know. It's quite easy. And I mean actually embrace it instead of pretending like you are. You may be strong, but you could be so much more.

I felt a sort of growl in my throat, but pushed it back and looked up. He was toying with me.

"Its nice to meet another vampire so in control of himself." I nodded and gulped down my drink an looked around "I am unsure why your in the slum side of the pub, but most of the time I agree its more fun."

I smiled and shrugged. Just then the group went inside. ''Should we keep following them?" I asked?

Jasper

''I do love meeting some odd balls every now and again," I said while giving her a lazy smile. ''But I'm still looking into some of the rumors I've been hearing lately."

Spencer

Well, that was different. I thought as I followed the direction Jude took off. I saw him outside looking annoyed. ''Are you okay?" I asked in a causal tone. I assumed for any normal human seeing a vampire randomly take off would be unsettling, but for me it was pretty dime a dozen.

[Callie]

Jude

I nodded, shoving the note into my pocket. "Morgan was here."

Shane

I looked at the place and shrugged. "Your call, Holmes."

Spencer

''Really." I said surprised. ''What should we do about that?"

Syrius

After arriving in Iris' office, I noticed a pretty brunette leaving.
''Ah there you are, and with our friend terrific."

Iris

''Nice to see, you're well Arielle." I said in a polite tone. ''I was getting worried something had happened to you.
''And you must be Jasmine, please do sit down we have so much to catch up on."
I looked between Arielle and Syrius, ''You may leave."

Syrius

I rolled my eyes at Iris and held the door open for Arielle.

Ezra

Just as I was about to think of what to do next I noticed, Rose was leaving city hall. What the hell? I though. ''How about we see what she was up too." I said pointing at my sister.

Arielle

I stepped outside quickly, staying close to Syrius. If I stayed far enough away from her, maybe she'd leave me alone.

[Callie]

Jude

"Well," I started with a smirk, "for starters - " I shut up as I heard a scratching noise, looking around. Then I realized it was coming from my pocket and I drew the note out. New words were rapidly appearing, still in Morgan's handwriting.

P.S. Picking up your adorable 'shifter girlfriend for a date soon. Maybe I'll talk to you later. Or on the date... if you can beat me there.

What did he...? Shit. I brought my cell phone out of my pocket and called Shane, waiting anxiously for her to pick up.

Shane

"Weird," I commented and drew my ringing phone out. "Yes?"
"Hey, where are you?" came Jude's voice from the other end. I still occasionally got surprised when he used a cell phone. I mean, he was just... Well, he was a vampire, he was old!
"Outside city hall..."
"Good. Stay there. And away from any vampires that aren't me," he said, hanging up.
I made a face. "Weird," I repeated, turning when I felt a hand on my shoulder. It was some random guy that was relatively hot; yet creepy. "Whoa, buddy. You gotta know me before you get all touchy," I told him seriously, narrowing my eyes.
He just chuckled.

"Rumors huh?" I frowned an looked around "Sometimes I dont get why people start them in the first place thats how people get hurt or killed." I frowned and let my hand rest on my leg.

My eyes narrowed at the guy next to Shane. ''Can we help you?" I asked in an unpolite tone.

Spencer

''Um, need help?" I asked uncertainly.

Jasper

''Yes, well these aren't so much malicious as simply people going on, and on about the enslavement of the human race." I said with a small smile. ''All I've gathered is that their leader knows some serious strong magic, and has a lot of influence."

Jasmine

I was completely bored with this whole thing.
''Cut the bullshit lady. What do you want?"
''How dare you speak to Iris like that!"
''Now, now Alice. Jasmine is our guest."
How did she know my name?
''How do you know me?"
''Sweetie, I keep tabs on everyone I find useful. Now why don't you tell me about Rosefalls!"
''It is nothing more than a charred crater. The destruction was unstoppable, no survivors. Well one survived. The soul of Eyno is still present and closer than you think." I said I felt my vision voice end and looked around confused, when I realized the angry glare the purple haired woman was shooting me. She, was, wait no. Was she? I shook my head.
''Oh please do go rest, miss Primerose." I heard the blonde witch say in a sugary sweet tone.

Syrius

I smiled at Arielle. ''So what now my sweet?"

Jude

I looked over to Spencer and smiled slightly. "Only if you're willing to experience how a vampire runs."

Shane

"No," he said breezily, running cold fingers down my arm. What a creep, I thought as I recoiled. "Just waiting for a friend of mine to show up. A... Jude? You may know him." He smiled, and I wanted nothing more than to shift and tackle him to the ground to get him to shut up and tell me what the fuck he wanted with Jude.
"So what if I do?" I retorted. "Watch it, bloodsucker. I won't hesitate to rip you to bits."
"That would expose yourself, though," he replied silkily.
"Does it look like I care?"

Ezra

''Why don't you listen to the lady." I said in an artic tone. ''And back off." I then wedged my way inbetween them. Shifting might raise suspicious but in December a sudden snow storm would be nothing.

Spencer

I just rolled my eyes and hopped on his back. ''I'm not some stupid teenage girl, so bring it on." I whsipered semi playfully in his ear. Truth be told I had half way experienced a vampire in mid run, before I staked him.

Jasmine

I smiled, maybe Iris wasn't a complete bitch, ''thanks." I murmured as she had someone take me to a five star hotel.

[Callie]

Shane

"Because I don't listen to smartass young women," he said with a roll of his eyes.
"Alright, that's it," I said, lunging for him.
Then someone grabbed my arm and yanked me back. I glared at whoever it was, then realized it was Jude. "Get a life, Morgan."
"How can I when I'm dead?" the guy retorted.
Jude narrowed his eyes. "Alright, what do you want?"
"I want to talk. Maybe even apologize."
"Uh huh," Jude said sarcastically, crossing his arms. "Go away. Before I kill you."
"With as weak as you are? I'd like to see you try," Morgan said with a smirk. Then he was gone, and Jude looked like he was trying to choke thin air. He made a face and dropped his hands.

Ezra

I was just about to blast the guy with a nasty blood freezing spell, when the vampire from earlier had shown up. With a girl on his back. Don't see that...nevermind. After that I was a bit confused as to what went down, but was glad Shane was okay.

Spencer

I hopped off of Jude effortlessly once he stopped. And not even dizzy. I thought as I found my center quickly. I was pissed that the vampire Jude was after got away. That makes two now. I thought, while debating on seeing if I could steal his wallet just to make fun of him. I shook my head and noticed two other people. A striking looking shapeshifter, and a handsome witch.

[Callie]

Shane

I walked up to Jude and slapped him across the face. Unsurprisingly, he didn't flinch. "What were you thinking?" I demanded. "I was going to kill him."
He rolled his eyes. "He's a lot stronger than you think, Shane."
I rolled my eyes right back at him and opened and closed my hand a few times; the sign for "blah blah blah". Then I turned and arched an eyebrow at the pretty blonde girl he'd brought with him. "And who's she?" I asked Jude with a sly smile.

I didn't know this girl was, but after that stunt I immediately liked her. ''I'm Spencer, and it's very nice to meet you." I said with a genuine smile.

[Callie]

Jude

Shane grinned. "I'm Shane. Nice to meet you too. Oh, and this is Ezra," she said, gesturing to the guy that I'd seen earlier.
I looked at her warily. "No. Shane, I know what you're thinking - no."
She returned my look with an innocent one. "Friends are good, Jude."
"Not when you're going to make friends with Spencer," I said, shaking my head. "She'll end up killing me because you're a bad influence."
"Would I do that to you?"
I just shot her an "oh, please" look.
