The assembly seemed to be over, so I left Jordan there and crept out of the auditorium, not wanting to hear any more about the darkness. I kept my eyes trained on the ground as I walked, accidentally knocking into some girl (Yvonne) who fell to the ground. "Sorry," I mumbled, holding a hand out to her to help her up.
She took it and just looked at me for a minute before opening her mouth to talk. "It's okay. I'm - "
"I'll see you around," I said quickly, walking off. I could feel her eyes on my back; apparently I'd piqued her interest.

When I opened my eyes, Rhys wasn't there. Not that I hadn't really expected that. I was more surprised about the fact that I had fallen asleep, which, overall, was a pretty smooth move. I hopped down the bleachers, narrowly missing some people who yelped, moved over, and shot me dirty looks. I paid no attention, just headed for the door, accidentally knocking into some dark, but pretty girl (Raven). "Ah, shit. Sorry," I muttered.
