I looked at the ground as I walked into the school, only looking up to take in my surroundings. There was a guy near the gate that directed some girl and I to our dorms, telling us where to go. Hoisting my backpack further onto my shoulder, I listened to him, heading inside. On the way to my room, though, I stopped dead. He was talking about here?
The guy looked up and his eyes went wide. He pushed himself up and walked over to me, grinning. "Long time no see, Rhys."
"Hey, Jordan," I said simply, taking his hand to do our supposed super-secret handshake. I smiled slightly at him. "So what's this place all about?"
"Eh, it's the usual school for the supernatural."
"That's helpful."
Jordan laughed and grinned at me. "C'mon, drop your shit off and I'll give you a tour."

Yvonne

I stared in awe at the building where I was supposed to be staying. It was huge! I couldn't go inside yet. Nope. It was... well, it was intimidating. So I just stood there stupidly, staring. Well, until this guy came over to me and another guy and told me where to go to find my dorm. I started off to do so, but then I found a little bench by some trees and it just looked so pretty around there. So I walked over and sat down on the bench, looking up and blissfully closing my eyes for a few moments. It was gonna be a great year.

I couldn't be bothered to wait and see if I had a room mate this year, so I went outside, and sat down on a bench, watching people arrive.

I walked out of my room and through Dorm 8's halls. I shoved through the people to walk out the door.

After tacking a few posters on the wall and arranging my furniture, I sat down on my bed, keeping the door open. I looked around the room blankly, not wanting to leave or stay, really.

I just put my things on the ground and stared at Jordan, who shook his head at me. "Just pick it up, I'll show you the dorms first," he said, heading upstairs. I grabbed my things once again and followed him.

I heard a few people complain but they recognized me. Most people for some reason heard of me at one point or another. Most likely because I never left this school, and I had never been off school grounds. I walked out the door and headed towards the starlight pool.

I unpacked all of my bags and tinkered with my phone. I was so bored of it, I had taken it apart often and even added my own little extras in it. I figured there was a room for people like me who like to build things. so I walked out of the building and headed towards one of the main buildings. I had my head down and bumped into someone. (Can be anyone)

I looked down at the girl who had walked into my and I grinned slightly before frowning.
"Sorry Kasin....Ummm the room you want is on floor 2 of the main site and is run by mr. mianagi....he's really good at all that technical stuff." I gulped and bit my lip before grabbing my bags again and looking at her "I did it again...sorry."

Hope

I looked at my clothes as I placed them in the same closet I'd had since I came here and then I searched avidly for my gloves which i'd thrown down somewhere when id shut the door, I wanted to go and find Shimmer one of the people i'd become friends with in my time here. After five minutes of searching I spotted them slung over the door handle and I laughed and pulled them on before leaving the orange painted room and pushing through the people on dorm 8's corridor. As i pushed I spotted a face I knew in the crowd and began fighting my way through even more, until i decide fighting was stupid and freezing time would be much easier. Concentrationg really hard I watched as everyone but Shimmer slowed and stopped. (Shimmer wouldnt be affected because of her controlling time too.)

I noticed everyone around me slow to a stop. I smiled because I knew only one person who could do that. I turned around and smiled even more. "HOPE!" I hadnt seen her over break, she was probably tho only person I had ever been very close to in this school. "What have you been up to?"

"Wait, what for?" I was confused when he said sorry. My head coked a little to the side

Looking to make sure the hallways were remotely empty, I sat up in bed and concentrated on the one image I remembered of my mother, chanting quietly inside my head. I looked up, and the spirit of my mother was there, watching my intently.
"You can't always call upon me when you need somebody to talk to, Raven," she said softly.
"I know, but I...I like spending time with you. This is the only way...I can ever see you."
She sighed. "Okay, fine. So what do you want to talk about?"

"I have a bad habit of reading minds...an its hard to control when im more relaxed....An unfortunatly...i've just pulled your name, and the place you were thinking of going from your head." I sighed

"Breaking boys hearts ofcourse." I giggled an looked at her "Only kidding i've been trying to keep my mother down the straight an narrow but it doesnt seem to work...an then theres the whole time thing. I've stopped aging again and i keep having funny dreams but meh!" I smiled an shrugged "So what about you how's your break been?"

Name: Solitaire Spiritchanter
Age: Refuses to say, although it's easy to figure out. She's 18.
Year: Freshman.
Personality: Solitaire is cold and withdrawn; she never lets anyone get close to her. She's never been one for friendships, actually. She's very independent, and assertiveness comes with that. If she doesn't get what she wants, she'll push the subject until you give in. If you don't, she gets nasty...and you don't want to see her when she's in a bad mood. Trust me on this.
Demoniac: Nope.
Powers: Acid Generation - her blood and saliva is toxic, it'll burn through anything it touches.
Bio: Solitaire swears that her parents didn't care much for her future - the middle child of a family of five, she always felt as if she never really belonged. Instead of being as smart and successful as her older brother, or as rebelling as her little sister, Sol flew under the radar, and wasn't noticed much by her parents. She was incredibly smart, and excelled in school - but that wasn't enough for her parents. They always told her that she was "good, but not great." She hated that.
However, the tables turned suddenly as she screwed everything up for her perfect little family. When she was 15, she liked a boy. He liked her back, and they shared a kiss...which didn't end well. The boy's mouth began to disintergrate before her eyes, as if he was just burned with...well, acid. Sol was scared shitless, because the boy ended up in intensive care for 3rd degree burns on his mouth. No one knew why, and it confused everyone. However, a scientist had heard of what Sol did, and wanted to run some "tests" on her; to use her as a guinea pig. Because she was only 15 at the time, her parents had the right of way, and they jumped at the chance. So, for three years Sol was plucked out of her home and into a science lab, where they studied her. They'd shock her, take samples from her, and test her pyschical capacity. Sol hated every single minute of it.
So, as soon as she turned 18, she decided she no longer wanted to be an experiment, and left. She didn't return to her family - she no longer trusted them. Instead, she lived in a motel for a couple of months, using the money that would have been her college fund to survive. Because, she never even completed her freshman year...so why bother about college, right? As soon as she received the opportunity to join Reaper Acadamy, she jumped at the chance. She can start over now, and finally graduate. Just as long as no one stands in her way.
Her family don't know of her where-abouts, and she'd like to keep it that way.

Weapon: It's a syringe; Solitaire calls it her "little trinket". Spitting and spilling crimson red on the floor can only get you so far - she uses it to spray the acid further.

Today was the dawn of a new beginning. Today was the day I would start afresh. Today was the day I was my own person.
I didn't have much luggage like everyone else - why would I? Most of my crap was at my parents' house, and there was no way in Hell I was going back there. Never. i swung my backpack back over my shoulder as it started to slip, then stopped in my tracks as soon as I found my room. Dorm 1. Cool, I guess. I opened the door, threw my port onto my bed, and left. Might as well learn my way around this joint, if I am going to live here.

I kept walking along the hallways. "And this is dorm one, where physical powers reign - hey, hold it." I grinned. "Sol?"

I jumped a bit as I heard my name, and I turned around and narrowed my eyes at the guy. "Yes?" I said, pursing my lips. He looked familiar, but I could not remember who it was. Not at all.

I held a hand out to her. "I'm Jordan," I told her, wondering if she could even remember me. It had been three years, after all.

"Jordan, Jordan..." I stood there for a moment, trying to remember. Who the heck was he? Then it clicked. "Oh, Jordan," I eventually answered, smiling slightly. "I remember you."

I laughed and grinned at her. "Are you sure? You look kind of uncertain," I teased, hugging her with one arm. "Long time, no see. Where ya been?"

I shook my head. "It's a long story," I sighed. I wasn't really one for sharing life stories, not since all this shit happened. It changed me.

I sat on a bench by a guy I kind-of recognised. "Hi." I grinned at him, trying to forget the stupid note.

I shrugged. "Thats pretty cool acctually. All I can do is take stuff apart and ut it back together basically."

"You stopped aging? Well at least theres no plastic surgery for you!" I laughed, but I knew what was happening to her. "My breaks been normal I guess. I just know everything about this school now. Oh and did you know the centenial is this year? They're gonna have a giant ball!"

While I was in the middle of talking, I heard a knock on my door. I jumped slightly, my head whipping to look at whoever was there. My focus lost, my mother's spirit called Bye, softly and disappeared.
The person stared at me with wide eyes - it was a young girl, freshman. "Everybody in Dorm 5 is required to go to the auditorium for a lecture on the rules," she choked out.
I narrowed my eyes but got up off of my bed. As I started to walk out the door, the girl literally ran off. I rolled my eyes and started to walk towards the auditorium, tucking a strand of blue-streaked hair behind my ear.

"Hey" I replied, grinning. Alex? Adam? It was something beginning with A, I just couldn't remember.

I looked up when the girl told us we had to go to the auditorium. I rushed down the hall, and bumped in to a girl (Raven). "Oh!" I swore quietly, but I smiled at her. "Sorry."

I turned and looked at the girl who had bumped into me. Hmm. Interesting. I raised my eyebrows. "It's fine," I said coolly. I was known to chase people away, or I'm apparently intimdating. I wonder where people get that impression.

I grinned at the guy... J-something-or-other. "Long time, no see." I said. It was a stupid line, but I used it because my mum had. I wanted to forget it, and get absorbed in my school work again.

"Hello." I started again. Her aura was interesting. Dark and brooding, like her soul. I felt a shiver run down my spine.

"Hi," I responded, now continuing to walk toward the auditorium. I didn't care if she took it as me dismissing her - heck, I would like that. But something told me she'd just follow me and keep talking.

"Yeah" I nodded, not wanting to reveal I didn't know his name. "How're you?" I asked conversationaly.

I nodded understandingly and turned around to introduce her to Rhys, but he was gone. I scratched the back of my head. "Tricky," I muttered. "Well, I was going to introduce you to my friend, but apparently he ditched me." Eh. It was Rhys. He did that sometimes.
