My eyes glittered with a slight malice, seeing that I was putting her on edge. "We all do, don't we?" I said, my voice icy. "I wonder what's got you all messed up in there, hm?"

Eventually, I managed to find a seat in the corner of the auditorium, by myself. Just how I liked it.

Jordan

"We should probably get to the auditorium," I remarked, looking up at the loudspeaker near.

Yvonne

I heard some announcement vaguely from my spot on the bench. Something about "rules" and "auditorium", but that was all I could make out. Reluctantly, I got up and headed inside to go find the auditorium.

"I guess so," I replied with a shrug, then heading off in the direction of the auditorium. Well, I thought I was going in that direction, anyway. I was just winging it, and I had no idea where I was going at all.

"How about I take you to the auditorium instead and then take you to that room." I smiled and looked at her "It's a handy power to have when I can control it other than that its down right annoying."

" Thank-you...Thank-you.....Thank-you....." I chirped happily and then smiled "Wow...full turn out this year i mused looking at the screen as the corridor emptied....I think we shoud go check out the welcom speech this year and the newbies....see if theres any hotties." I laughed

"I'll see you when you find the auditorium... unless you wanna follow me. I saw a sign that said 'Auditorium' on it on my way in," I told her with a slight smile, taking a few steps backward.

"I'll find it on my own, thanks," I called over my shoulder, rolling my eyes as I walked.

"Just shut up, because you wouldn't care if I told you." I frowned. Either that, or she'd be so horrified that she'd never speak to me again. I wouln't mind that though, since out first impressions weren't good.

I walked through the door, smiling at him. "Uh..." I said, not quite sure what to say.

"That's a good idea!" The screen dissapeard into a bunch of little string and formed back into my Aura as they dissapeared. "Now how many boys do you plan on wooing this year?" I said with a smirk.

I laughed. " Control huh? maybe I could build you one." I looked around and then turned back. "Yeah, if you could take me to the auditorium that'd be great. I would probably end up in a cornfeild in nebraska if I went alone!"

"You have never seen your father cheating. You've never seen your mother use a gun. You've never seen your fathers body being thrown away. You've never had to run away because you can't deal with having to watch your mother being arrested, and being asked to be a witness when you're only ten!" I snapped back at her, almost crying.

I sobbed, finally losing the grip on my emotion. My aunt told me not to get wound up when people asked about my family. I started crying, because that had messed me up so much I hadn't had a day when I hadn't screamed. She hadn't cared.

I raised my eyebrows. Though I usually didn't give a fuck about other people...this girl's life just seemed so messed up. I had to have some compassion for her. Standing up from my seat, I slowly wrapped one arm around her, gently stroking her hair with my other hand. I didn't say anything, knowing I wasn't good at comforting with words.

I smiled a bit and shook my head at her, turning around and eventually getting to the gym. I scanned the bleachers before dashing up them to Rhys. "Hey," I said.
He didn't answer.

After wandering around like an idiot, I found where I was going. I walked into the auditorium and sat as far away from everyone as I could. I just wanted to be left alone.

The lyrics played into my dream. "Come together, right now, over me." I heard those words over and over. It was kinda annoying. I mean I like the beatles, they're classic, but I don't wanna hear the same verse constantly. I woke up and looked around. It took me a second to relize where I was. "Damn, I STILL don't want to go to this assembly...."

I didn't know her name, but she seemed to act like she gave a damn. Or at least half of one. I froze when she touched me, the tears still running down my face.

I nodded. "Sounds good. I just avoided my dad." Mainly, anyway.

"Sheesh, I'm not going to kill you," I muttered when she tensed up, letting go of her and standing warily next to her.

"... You want me to shut up?" I asked him, arching an eyebrow.
He shrugged. "I don't really care what you do, JJ. S'your choice."

OOC: Imma start this assembly

Principal
"Ahem!" I shouted over the kids voices.
"Now this is a new school year, and there are many new students. Its just as well because the darness is spreading and more innocent people are being killed. The demons have grown large in number and are angry about schools like ours that are meant to protect the people who end up getting killed. In this school if you don't work hard, you might die. You must stay alert and focused always. The demons are not the obly thing to fear, for in the school you may have to be against the students."
I didn't like to admit the students were being consumed by the darkness too.
"Your friends are also becoming demons. The darkness has claimed them. But only few will succumb to the offers. You must see the difference between right and wrong.
Now you are all aware of the dangers you must be aware you may have to share a dorm if you wish. All of the new kids really tend to crowd the school. Also this year there will be a ball for our Hundreth anniversary! You can join the planning commitee in the lounge of your dorms!"

Upon hearing the whole darkness thing and possessing the students, I glanced over to Rhys, who was just listening. Normally, he would've been making fun of the assembly with me, like we did at all our other schools. Not now.

We got to the assembly just before the the principal started talking. I swallowed hard when he mentioned the Darness possesing the kids. I knew he was talking about me. I wasn't evil though. I clenched my jaw and held my marked hand in a tight fist.

I peeked in the auditorium. I don't think I was missing anything important. I shrugged. "Who cares anyways? Its like highschool all over again." I thought out loud

My eyes flahsed dangerously when she mentioned the darkness and I fought the urge to snap at the head. I itched my hand and traced the pattern of my mak before looking to Shimmer "Shimmer your fine..." I whispered to her and placed my hand on her shoulder.

"I think we're abit late...but basically all you'll have missed is about darkness taking over and you may fall to it or not...but you need to choose good....we're losing people to the demons.....oh and theres a ball for the hundreth anniversery." I whispered to her reading the heads mind.

I turned to Hope. "But you know what she's talking about though," I whispered back and held up the gloved hand that hand the mark on it

"Fancy fancy, now what the hell am I supposed to where to the ball?" I asked out loud quizically. "They should've told us we needed dresses."

"Well....I have a catalogue with suits and dresses in....You can choose one and i'll get it for you....my apology for reading your mind...before I met you!" I smiled

I looked at her and nodded sighing quietly "Yeah but we're not evil...." I smiled knowing I was struggling already with fighting the darkness....I was just waiting for it too win now...but I hadn't told anyone about the battle raging within me.
