OOC: Okay. xD But warning, Rachel might not be in a right state to give her toast.

Rachel
Alex snarled at her, a strange, guttral(sp?) sound that startled me. But in literally two seconds his clothes were back on and Nick was pushed out of the doorway. He seemed to be walking so heavily, pounding his feet on the floor even, but yet made no noise as he headed down the stairs. A minute later I heard the front door open and close.
"Ohmygod," I gasped, collapsing onto my bed and hiding my face in my hands. I had been raped. Raped. By somebody I had loved. Somebody who had said he loved me.

Nick

I made a great show of brushing myself off before walking back over to Rachel and handing her her clothes awkwardly. I decided not to bring up my toast problem yet. For some reason, it seemed a bit unimportant compared to what Rach had just gone through. "I'm sorry," I said; "are you okay?" had been my first choice, but it was really a pointless question. "I'm sorry" seemed to fit the situation better... especially when it was quite obvious that someone wasn't okay.

OOC: Did you really think Nick would be so heartless as to bring up the toast right away? xD ... Don't answer that.

I pulled into the parking lot and waited for Kestrel to get there before getting out.

Kestrel

I saw Jayden before I got there, and I quickened my pace slightly, grinning when I reached him. "Hey, handsome," I said jokingly; I did that sometimes, just because it either got on his nerves, made him blush, or made him laugh. Vaguely, I wondered which it would be today.

Jayden
I looked up at her and blushed, even though I tried to hide it. "Shaddup, woman." I teased and got out of the car.

I laughed. "You know you love me," I said, heading over to the door and opening it for him. "C'mon, let's get something to eat."

Jayden
She honestly didn't know how true that was, but I would never tell her that...Kestrel wasn't one for mushy lovey-dovey stuff like that. I followed her in quietly.

Rachel
My breathing was coming in short, quick gasps, and I felt like a train was running over my chest and lungs. "I can't...I can't..." I was unpure. I was dirty. Nobody will like me now, not even Ty. Ty. Oh God. How could I ever face him again, knowing what I was now? Did this count as cheating on him? Oh God.

[Callie]

"I told you I ran into your son, right?" I asked conversationally as I looked up at the menu.

Nick

I hugged her lightly, frowning. I didn't know what to say right now, but I knew she needed someone there for her right now.

OOC: Mind you, I'm assuming she put her clothes back on... 'coz Nick doesn't swing that way. Sorry, Jake! xD

I burrowed my face into Nick's shoulder, sobbing heavily. I felt so gross. So...not me. "I'm dirty," I whispered.

OOC: xDD Yeah, we'll assume she put them back on, because I forgot to add that in there. Though, I mean, she's pretty upset so she wouldn't really do anything. But she was wearing a bedsheet...

Nick

I bit back a smartass "take a shower", because I knew that was insensitive. Instead, I patted her awkwardly on the back. "You couldn't help what happened," I assured her.

"I could have," I mumbled. "I always wanted Alex, but I never got him. And now I selfishly declined him, and he took matters into his own hands."

Nick

"I fail to see how telling him you didn't want to have sex was selfish," I murmured, arching a curious eyebrow at her. "How could you have stopped him? Bloodsuckers are strong, Rach. Real strong."

Rachel
"I didn't...I didn't know he was capable of that," I whispered. "I didn't think he would try to use his powers on me even if I had known. He's always tried to avoid the fact that he is what he is."

Nick

"Apparently, he's embraced it," I said before I could stop it. I hit myself in the head. "Sorry, sorry." I sighed. "I'm hardly comforting, am I? We should just... get you showered and then back to sleep," I suggested quietly.

Rachel
I nodded. "Yes. Please." I got up, keeping the bedsheets wrapped around me. I didn't think she intended on helping me shower - we weren't exactly that close - so I grabbed a silk, thin-strapped nightgown from off of my floor, some clean underwear, and shuffled to the bathroom.

Nick

"I'll be here!" I called awkwardly. "Or raiding your fridge. Whichever."

[Emmy]

Jayden
"You forgot to mention that..." I said frowning. I didn't like that she saw him, not at all.

Rachel
I didn't answer her as I closed the bathroom door behind me. I let the sheets drop from around me, and I turned the hot water on before stepping into the shower. The warmth of it sent shivers along my body, and I ignored the fact that it would scorch my skin. My mind was racing, but yet felt numb as I thought about the past hour. Why me? I was glad Nick had come when she did. The thought that Alex could have continued until he...relieved himself...scared me.
My mind, however, kept flashing back to Ty. What was I going to tell him? I decided that I couldn't, but I wouldn't stop Nick from doing it, though I doubted that she would.
In fact, maybe I should just avoid Ty all together. He shouldn't be around dirty, unpure me. Having to lie about this to him would be hard enough, but trying to pretend that I was something I wasn't was even worse.

"Turn that frown upside-down! It wasn't bad. He didn't try to kill me. I didn't try to kill him. We joked around, teased each other a bit. His girlfriend didn't try to kill me. It was like a big family reunion... annoying old geezers not included!" I purposely didn't tell him about Kaden. For some reason, I didn't really want to talk about him to Jayden.

Nick

I headed downstairs and opened the refrigerator door, eventually finding some leftover spaghetti. I heated that up and began to scarf it down, thankful for some substance in my stomach.

After what felt like hours of being in the shower, I finally scrubbed down my body with a bar of soap, but not bothering to clean out my matted, tiny curls. Shutting off the water, I stumbled out and dried myself off with a towel, putting on my thin nightgown and pulling my hair into little, wet pigtails. I grimaced at my reflection in the mirror, not sure who that was looking back at me anymore. With a sigh, I headed downstairs to find Nick eating some spaghetti left over from...was it last night? Or some nights before?

I looked up from my food and smiled sheepishly at Rachel. "I got hungry."

Jayden
"Where has he been all this time? I've seen Holly around, but not him..."

Rachel
I nodded wearily, not saying anything as I flopped onto the couch in the living room. I looked glumly down at my nails, picking at my cuticles.

Nick

"Uh..." Yeah, it was becoming evident pretty quickly that I wasn't a master during emotional situations.

Kestrel

I shrugged. "I think he's got a band or something now. Goes by the name Slade so the cops don't realize that a former murderer's back in town."

Rachel
"You don't have to say anything," I said softly, my voice sounding small and weak. "You can just take your food and go, in fact. I don't need you here."

Nick

I raised my eyebrows at her. "Rach..." She didn't seem like she was fine. She needed someone. You just weren't okay after something like that.

OOC: We both know the only person that can really comfort her is Ty, but she's not willing to tell him. xD

Rachel
I shook my head. "It's fine. You don't have to feel awkward by being here. I was going to go to sleep anyway."

I couldn't help but smirk. "What a good dad I've been..."

Nick

"I... okay," I relented, setting the spaghetti dish in the sink and heading for the door. I paused with my hand on the knob. "Rachel... I'm here if you need someone," I told her before turning the handle and walking out.

OOC: Yeah. Poor Ty will be so clueless. Jake and Nick need to run into each other again... :/

"Actually, I think it was my fault. I made him get the money, so he stole, so he got caught, so he went to jail and killed someone, so he left town. It's a chain reaction, really," I said nonchalantly.
