"I think I can blame myself for not trying to go out and make friends," I mumbled. "If I really wanted friends, I probably would have tried to make some." I did, eventually. Well. I made one friend. And that was obviously a mistake.

"Ahh. More of the kind of person that prefers to be alone, then?" I asked her. I'd never been like that; I liked people too much. Slade, on the other hand, usually preferred people leave him alone to people paying him attention.

Harley
I started to say something, but didn't, as my eyes got heavy and I let them close.

Rachel
I shrugged. "I guess so. I never found anybody I related to, or anybody interesting in my eyes. Plus I lacked the courage to strike up a conversation with people."

Ty

"Yeah, that can kinda get in the way," I said with a small smile.

Kaden

I grinned at her sleeping form, and debated getting up to go inform the others of what had happened. I didn't want to scare Silas' girlfriend into a heart attack, though, so I stayed where I was.

OOC: I totally forgot what Holly and co. were doing.

I smiled slightly. "My turn to ask a question now?"

"It's been a while, Silas," I said after long silent minutes. "Where are they?"

"Go for it."

Slade

"Well, Kaden said he was leaving... Wouldn't Harley have given up trying to get cell phone service by now?" I muttered, arching an eyebrow.

"Okay, um...what's your biggest fear?" I asked softly. "Can be rational or irrational."

Holly
I sighed and ran my hand through my hair. "More stress," I mumbled.

[Callie]

Ty

I made a face. "I'm claustrophobic," I admitted with a sheepish smile.

Slade

"Heaven forbid we have a dull moment. What would we do?"

"Ah, that's common." I pushed up against him, winding my arm around his waist and pulling him closer to me. "Are you afraid?" I teased.

"If I say no, will you try to get even closer to me?" I asked, arching an eyebrow at her playfully.

Holly
"I don't think I can remember a dull moment, except maybe that night we watched Charlie and the Chocolate Factory together." I smiled slightly. "And you fell asleep on me."

[Callie]

Slade

"We fell asleep on each other," I corrected her, sticking my tongue out at her.

My cheeks turned a delicate shade of pink, but I stuck my tongue out at him. "Maybe I will."

Ty

I wrapped my arms around her waist and leaned in, brushing my lips against her ear. "Then I'm definitely not scared."

I shivered, closing my eyes, and I felt the overwhelming urge to kiss him. I moved both of my arms to around his torso, pulling him even closer to me. "Are you afraid now?" I breathed.

Holly
"Uh huh. Sure."

Slade

"Don't use that tone of voice with me, princess. You know I'm right."

Ty

I shut my eyes, breathing in her scent. Flowery. "... Yes," I whispered.

[Emmy]

Holly
"You were the one with your arm wrapped around me." I stuck my tongue out at him, the picture I saw from Micah's mind that day was still pretty clear.

Slade

I grimaced. "I don't remember that." I wondered if she'd believe me if I said I moved in my sleep.

Holly
I smirked. "It's crystal clear in my mind. That night began the battle of the hormones." I grimaced. "Are we still that stupid?"

Slade

I tried to hold back a smirk, but failed. "Probably."

Holly
I laughed. "Yeah, you're right."

Slade

"Do you want me to look for Harley?" I asked suddenly.

Holly
I was a bit startled by the sudden change in conversation, but just nodded, looking down at the floor. "Yeah..."

Slade

"I'll be back, then," I said, kissing her lightly on the forehead before turning around and leaving the room.

Sucking in a breath, I leaned forward and pressed my lips to his jaw. "And still?"

Mutely, I nodded.
