I watched her for a moment before shaking my head at myself and walking off to find Nick and Ty. Again.

"Are you ok?" I asked her simply, ignoring the thank you. What mattered was if she was alright.

"....Who was he, and how do you know him?" I asked off the bat. Holly sighed and asked for something strong.
"He was Silas."
"WHAT?!"
"Yeah..."
"Oh my God. Holly, I'msosorryandohmygodwowishouldgokickhisass--"
"Harley....chill. I'm fine."
"Are you sure?"
"No." she said truthfully and drunk up. I felt really bad now.

Slade

I ended up finding Nick first. She was at the bar, downing a beer. "Drowning your sorrows?" I asked her with a slight smile.
"Yeah. I mean, hanging out with you so much, I have plenty of them."
"Ouch," I said, but smiled at her. "You ready, kiddo?"
She rolled her eyes and stood up. "You can hardly call me kiddo. Where's Ty?"
"Hitting on someone is my guess."
"... I'm not betting against that."

"I'm fine," I said quietly, shy. No, I was technically emotionally scarred now, completely frightened for my life, and almost in a depression from how much I missed Alex. But whatever.

Harley
"The night's drinks are on me," I announced.
"Aw, no, harley, it's your birthday!"
"Yeah but you just met a guy who left you for five years. I say it again I buy the drinks tonight."
"You know I love you right? No homo."
I smiled. "Of course, Holly. Same."

I saw Nick and Slade walking over this way, and I stood up. "Well... it's... nice meeting you, I guess," I said with a slight smile. "Enjoy the show, yeah?" I said to her before walking off to meet up with Slade and Nick. "We ready, then?"
"I was born ready," Slade said with a smirk, leading us onto the stage. So much for practicing. Like we hadn't done so a ton already, though. We all started playing, and the doors were opened, people pouring inside and getting pumped. Slade had on his usual smirk, and he adjusted the microphone.
"Alright, you guys. I don't have much to say, so just hear me out. If you know the words, I want you to sing along. Loud. Because we are gonna rock this place so hard that it's gonna think of us as the greatest band that ever lived. We are The Restricted Standard" - insert cheering - "and we're here to rock your socks off. And yes, we mean those socks." With that, he started playing the guitar, signaling the start of our first song. "Oh, by the way, this one's relatively old. It's called Holly, for those of you that don't know it."

I stiffened, and Harley literally squealed, and started on a ramble about how that was so cute. I didn't even stop her this time. I listened closely.

I wasn't sure I wanted to stay after what had just happened, but I sat back down, hoping to collect my cool again before I left. I looked up at the band on staged and watched them play, trying to be enthusiastic.

Jake
"Pfft," I said to myself. Naming songs after girlfriends or real people is so overrated.

I slipped in the doors quietly to not disrupt the band. Okay, scratch that. Today's had the whole place cheering. Wait... Silas?!

OOC: Skipping to chorus just for Emmy.

Slade

The song was so sweet. And so obviously written for some girl the singer must have been in love with. I closed my eyes and counted the beats of the song in my head.

Bleh. So sickening sweet.

Harley nudged me and grinned. "OHMYGODHOLLY--" she rambled more, except she was yelling this one. I nodded and laid my head down on the table. I shouldn't believe those lyrics, but I did.

Right, right... No nerves. I hopped down from the stage and walked over to where I saw Holly and her friend, continuing to play the guitar and sing, smirking slightly at her.

I smiled slightly. Yeah, it was definitely the same Silas we knew and loved. Well, knew anyways. Though Holly probably loved him. I'd never really thought she'd gotten over Silas in the first place...

I sat up and dared to look back at Silas. He had that little smirk of his on his face and was singing directly to me. Harley looked like she was about to pass out, I could vaguely hear her scream "YOU OWE ME ONE HOLLY!!!!" But I was more listening to his words.
Could I trust them?

I couldn't help but go, "Aww." I understood that either that song was written for the girl he was singing too, or he's trying to butter her up.

Jake
Dude. That is a fantastic way to get a girl. Amazing.

OOC: So now they're done with songs. xD I'm lazy. Pretend they did more than one.

I was back up on the stage for the second song after I winked at Holly and walked back up, and then we played a few more before taking a bow and going to mingle or whatever with the crowd. Well, after we packed up our instruments. Some other band was on after us.

I debated getting up and leaving now, but I wasn't too sure if I should yet. Something was holding me here for some reason. Like I should be expecting something.

"Well, aren't you going to go talk to him? He sung a freaking song for you," Harley was drunk.
"No."
"Why nottttt?" She grinned.
"He can come find me. I don't want to."
"Lazy ass!" Harley went to go talk with other people. I sighed, but smiled.

OOC: Seriously, she's making me wanna make Alex and have him come back.

Slade

I made my way over to the bar and ordered a beer, sitting next to Holly. Then I turned to look at her. "So... can I have a second chance?" I asked her softly.

OOC: That would be interesting. xD My plot was either have somebody make Alex or have some random guy enter her life and help her move on.

I stared into my drink and finally just downed it all. "Yeah, I guess." I said just as softly, if not more.

I sat down next to the girl from earlier. "What are you thinking about?" I asked, not exactly expecting an honest answer.

"You guess? I suppose I'll have to deal with that, huh?" I said with a small smile, taking her hand in mine and looking at her until she looked over.

I tensed at his touch. I hadn't felt it in so long. When he wouldn't let go, I looked over at him. "Yeah, you will have to deal with it..." I mumbled.

"Holly, be honest with me. Do you want to start over? Because I can deal with that. I'll be on my best behavior. I promise." I smiled a bit at her.

"Start over?" I asked warily. "What do you mean?"
