I has ideas. I don't know which one to choose, though. No stealing though!

1. A plain life with ordinary goings on, until her parents break up, and her mother loses her job. The broken family is forced in to a scruffy neighbourhood, renting a tiny apartment in an infamous block. The girl is desperate for an escape, and when she discovers a terrified, soaking boy behind her mothers new apartment. As this boy reveals his past to her, and draws her deeper in to his dark underworld, will the line between good and evil be so clear?
2. Running away was the hardest part of her life. But it's what happens after her escape from an abusive mother and an alcoholic father that scares her the most. Her new-found family of runaways aren't all who they seem, and maybe a few of her new friends aren't even what they say they are? But, of course, they have to be human, don't they?

I think i'm going to write a zombie novel. *hmm*

Right, so I decided to change my plot. I already posted this on boolprop's NaNoWriMo forum, but I figured I'd post this here too, since I'm gonna run into some problems with the plot later. I think.

When my FMC was little, she had a very vivid imagination. She could sit for hours, talking to her reflection. Her parents thought it was cute, but as she got older... not so much. They got worried that she had too big of an imagination or that she had brain damage or something because she kept treating her reflection like it was a real person.
During her teen-years, FMC was afraid. Of herself. Her reflection, technically. She knew that it wasn't normal, but she was certain that her reflection answered her. It was her but... yet it wasn't. She was also getting creeped out by the fact that her reflection became more and more... sinister. Just by the way she stared back at her, it sent chills down FMC spine.
Terrified by the entire situation, FMC started to avoid all reflecting surfaces. She covered mirrors, she never walked near puddles of water... you get the idea. She almost perfected this, forgetting the girl that was her, but yet so different.
Then it starts to come back... whenever she gets close to a mirror or such, she can hear whispers, mumbles, sometimes screams. She doesn't know what to believe, maybe it's the girl in her reflection?

I added two secondary characters. Since Bonita, Jason, Gunner and Saber are all based off my sims game (fun fact!) I just remembered Bonita's adopted sister, Blanche, and her adopted daughter, Sunset. So I added them in. They're going to appear in the second half of the novel, I think. They're not that important, anyway.
