"Thanks for bringing me out here," I told Isaiah, still smiling as I reached up to to kiss him softly on the lips.
Josie
"That's... Good," I mumbled with a laugh, then stood up and held my hand out to help him up. "I should probably... Get going before they get mad. I'm Josie, by the way."

Isaiah
"No problem," I murmured before our lips met for a tender kiss. This clearing was officially awesome. It was weird she'd never known about it, though. I mean, she'd lived here a lot longer than I had.
Noel
Somewhat reluctantly, I took her hand. I couldn't figure why I didn't want to take her hand. After all, this was probably the first and last time I'd talk to her and the only time we did something even remotely close to holding hands. I figured it was probably something to do with my wounded pride after just getting my ass handed to me. "Thanks," I murmured again as she introduced herself. She was popular and she was acting like I wouldn't know her. "I know," I said simply, dropping her hand now that I was standing. "I'm Noel." I grabbed my sketchbook off the ground since it had dropped about the same time that I did. Part of me wanted to ask her to stay, but I knew she probably wouldn't, and it wasn't like her friends were exactly all that enthralled with me right now in the first place.

I pulled away slightly to rest my head against his chest. It was nice being out there with just the two of us, and I didn't really care that people were probably wondering where we were.
Josie
"I knew that already, too," I told him with a soft laugh. "Well... I'll see you around." I waved slightly as I turned around and headed off for the parking lot. I couldn't say I'd talk to Noel later because I knew well enough to know Alyssa would make Tasha her new Beta: the girl who got the popularity without the work. That meant if Alyssa got run over by a bus or something, Tasha would be in charge, and nobody would be very fond of that.

Isaiah
After letting my thoughts wander a bit, I realized it was way after school and I was in trouble. "Shit," I muttered, pulling away from Lyssa a bit to check my phone. Sure enough, I had six missed calls, all from Sam. "Wanna babysit with me?" I asked Lyssa with a small smile. She'd seemed to like Lane, after all.
Noel
"Yeah," I mumbled as she walked off. I nearly followed her since my truck was that way, but then I realized that would be kind of creepy, and I'd have to pass their car to get to my truck in the first place. Instead of risking another confrontation, I sat on the first row of bleachers and started sketching again. Still her, but this time with a tiny smile on her face. In all honesty, I was creeping myself out. Maybe if I got a life I wouldn't have thos constant problem of being a creeper. Hah. That was funny.

I figured he was talking about Lane since Isaiah didn't strike me as the kind of person who would have an actual babysitting job. "Do I get to keep him this time?" I asked with a grin.

I laughed and walked over to the car, opening her door for her once again. "I don't know; you'll have to ask Sam about that one," I told her, sending my sister a text message. "We're babysitting at her house this time, though." Im bringing lyssa with me. I texted simply, figuring she wouldn't really care so long as I was there. I was basically the only person she was comfortable having babysit Lane.

"Where's her house at?" I asked him as I got back in the car. Something told me Sam wouldn't actually let me have Lane, so I didn't plan on actually asking, but that still didn't mean I couldn't borrow him, right?

Isaiah
Once both of us were in the car, I backed up and pulled out of the clearing, driving back to what I'd call the "city". It was where the stores and such were. "Around here somewhere," I said. "She has an apartment." I didn't know what we'd do, either; it wasn't like she'd been here for long, so she hadn't exactly had time to unpack. I also wondered why she was going out, why she needed a babysitter. Sam loathed not being near Lane as much as possible.

I nodded a bit as I looked out the window. It was weird, but I honestly couldn't think of a friend I'd had before that lived in an apartment.
Liam
After I was dressed and ready to go -which was definitely too long, mainly because I had to decide what clothes I even owned that would be considered 'date-worthy'- I realized I wasn't sure if I was supposed to be picking Sam up or if we were meeting at the club. I ended up just picking up my cellphone and dialing her number.

I practically fell out of my chair when the phone rang. Figuring it was Isaiah, I snatched it up and took a deep breath. "You asshole, I tried calling you like five tim - " When I wasn't interrupted, I stopped and drew my mouth into a thin line. "This isn't Isaiah, is it?" I asked. Well, that was what I got for not checking the caller ID.

I raised my eyebrows at first, almost sure I didn't have five missed calls. My phone had been in my pocket the whole day! I let out a small laugh when I realized she wasn't actually talking to me, "... No. I'm pretty sure I'm Liam."

I wrinkled my nose. Smooth move, Sam. "Uh... then I'm sorry for bitching at you like you're my little brother," I answered with a slight laugh. "He's not here yet, but... he should be soon." At least I hoped so. If not, he was definitely in for it the next time I saw him. He was supposed to be here a half hour ago. I'd texted him the details last night and everything. When it finally hit me that Liam was probably calling me for a reason, I nodded to myself slightly. "So, what'd you need?" I asked, keeping my eyes on Lane as he doodled scribbles on the page. He'd told me that he was trying to draw me a leprechaun, but so far, it wasn't looking too much like a leprechaun. Maybe a dragon mixed with a seahorse mixed with a pigeon mixed with some sort of Pokemon.

"I was actually calling to see if you wanted me to pick you up?" I asked her. I didn't actually know where she lived, so hopefully if she said yes, she'd give me her address before hanging up...

Sam"Yeah, sure," I said and told him my address while I smoothed down the dress I had on. It'd been a while since I'd even had a reason to dress up, so it was nice to do so every once in a while. "Um... does Tori need a babysitter or is your neighbor doing it again? If not, you can just bring her over... I'm sure Lane wouldn't mind. And Isaiah would deal with it." Sam's dress.

"I can cancel with my neighbor. Tori would probably want to hang out with Lane more anyways," I remarked with a small smile. She was sitting on the couch next to me right now, pretending she was on the phone with someone too, using her little Barbie phone that didn't actually work.

I laughed a bit. "Alright. I'll, uh, see you soon then?" I asked as Lane turned around and looked at me with wide eyes. "Tori?" he mouthed, dropping the green crayon to the ground. At least he got one of the colors for the leprechaun...

"Yeah, I'm on my way now," I told her before I hung up, then put my cell phone back in my pocket. Luckily I had a GPS system in the car, so it wasn't going to be too hard to find where she lived. One of the few perks of being in the mafia...

I stared at the phone after he'd hung up. What, was this a movie? They never said goodbye in movies either. I set it down on the table, then jumped when the buzzer to my apartment went off. I hurried over to the door and looked through to see Isaiah... and his girlfriend. Oh well. Two teenagers and two kids. Worked for me. I buzzed them in, and there was a knock on my door a few moments later. I opened it and let them in. Isaiah was gaping. "Are you wearing a dress?" he asked as he walked inside. "No, this is obviously a thong," I said sarcastically. He wrinkled his nose and I could practically hear him telling me that that was a mental image he didn't need.

I smirked slightly at Isaiah's face as I followed him inside. "I think the dress looks great," I told Sam with a grin. Why was she wearing a dress, though? I wanted to ask, but what if she thought I was invading her personal life or something?

"Thank you," I said and curtsied. "I think I like her better. Can she be my sister instead of having you for my brother?" I asked Isaiah teasingly as he stuck his tongue out at me and plopped down next to Lane. "So what's with it? Hot date?" he asked with a grin. I bit back a smirk. "... Yeah." I wasn't going to tell Isaiah about Liam. As far as I was concerned, he could find out for himself. "Um, the baby food is in the first cabinet and in the sides of the fridge. He's supposed to be in bed by nine and that's usually when he gets tired. If not, you can just sing him to - " "Sam." "What?" "I know," Isaiah said with a small smile, nodding at me. I don't know why, but I nearly teared up. It was good to know there was someone who knew just what to do and that I could easily trust.

I laughed at her remark of me being her sister. I was pretty sure my life would be entirely different if I'd grown up in the mafia, though. "Hey, Lane," I told him with a wave as I sat down next to him. "What are you drawing?"

"Leprechaun!" he exclaimed. I made circles around my ear from my spot near the door, mouthing "he's crazy" to Isaiah and Alyssa. Isaiah pretended not to notice, and I grabbed my purse from the table, trying to ignore the butterflies in my stomach. It had only been three years. I couldn't be that rusty... right?

"That has to be the best leprechaun drawing I've ever seen," I remarked. ... So maybe it didn't even look at all like one, but technically I'd never actually seen someone try to draw a leprechaun, so it was still true! I glanced up when the apartment door made some buzzing noise. "I think your date's here."

"Guess so," I said and buzzed Liam up, waiting anxiously at the door. Isaiah just looked amused. "I don't think I've ever seen you look this nervous, Sammy. Not since - never mind," he said, cutting himself off. I knew what that felt like. Neither of us wanted to talk about Nathaniel, apparently.

I stayed silent for a moment hoping she wasn't going out on a date with Jake. She was talking to him at one of the parties a while back. Then again, she probably had other places she could meet people. ... I hoped so anyways, or else the next few minutes weren't going to go over very well. Instead of just coming in, the guy knocked on the door. Weren't you just supposed to come in if someone already let you in the building?

I opened the door for Liam and let him in while Isaiah busied himself with making some strangled kind of noise in the back of his throat. After a moment, the noise stopped and he looked at me calmly. "You didn't mention that it was Liam you were going a date with," he remarked, looking between the two of us. I just shrugged. "Well, you found out, didn't you?"

I grinned at Sam with a wave as I walked inside. I knew Isaiah was going to be babysitting, but for some reason it hadn't exactly crossed my mind that I'd run into him. Now I wasn't sure what I was supposed to say... Or look at, considering he definitely wouldn't appreciate me checking out his sister or making a remark about how much I liked the dress. Instead, I set Tori down on the ground, letting her wander over to Lane and some blonde girl I didn't remember seeing before. "You didn't need to get someone else to help because of Tori," I told her with a slight smile, feeling sort of bad. The girl just looked at me like I was insane.

"No, no, that's Isaiah's girlfriend, Alyssa," I said, surprised that I actually remembered her name. I was seriously gonna have to try and do that. Isaiah was still staring at me like I was crazy. "Isaiah, that's Tori, Liam's little sister. She's Lane's friend and, uh... I'll see you after we get back!" I said, shoving Liam out the door and following him as I shut it behind us. That really could not have been any more awkward, could it?
Isaiah
I looked between Lane and Tori and over to Lyssa. "... Guess we're babysitting two kids." Funny how Sam had forgotten to mention that, along with the fact she was dating Liam. He was a nice guy and all... nice as you could be when you were in the mafia, at least... but I didn't want things to get fucked over for Sam again. Considering what Liam did, Antonio had more control over him than he did with Nathaniel, and look at what happened to him.
OOC: Lyssa might wanna know why Isaiah cut himself off at, "I don't think I've ever seen you look this nervous, Sammy. Not since - never mind." Just saying. xD

Liam "I didn't even know he was dating again," I remarked with raised eyebrows after she shoved me out of the room. After all, we'd been in California for ... I wasn't sure how long it had been, but it definitely didn't seem like enough time to get a girlfriend. Alyssa "Uh... Hi," I told the little girl who was apparently named Tori. She looked up at me, then ran over to Lane and gave him a hug. "Geez, I feel unloved," I remarked, smirking. This was going to be an interesting night... OOC: Okay, she will in the next post.

I shrugged a bit. Liam made a fair point, and I hadn't thought to ask Isaiah. "Apparently it was long enough for him," I said simply, even though I didn't think so. Last I'd checked, he still wasn't over the whole thing with Liz. Not that I'd expected him to be. Maybe he just... got over things faster than I did.
Isaiah
"Awww," I said and put an arm around Alyssa, grinning, Lane hugged Tori back, then ripped a page out of his coloring book and handed it to her. "See? I told you he'd have a girlfriend in no time."
