The Dark Gift

Truda

After around three minutes I figured that people would have forgotten about us or thought that we were dead. Either way, I swam back to the surface and looked around.The place was getting emptier.

Ivan

"Oh God, boring," I exclaimed with a sigh. "And how were you planning on keeping her alive for three days? Got any supplies back here... of mortal food?"

[Callie]

Blade

I surfaced after her. "Aww, they're leaving. Perhaps we should've socialized more?" I suggested, but I was smirking. Like I cared. The fewer of them, the better. The stench of drugs, alcohol, and sweat was less, then.

Vladimir

"No, we'll have rest stops. She'll listen to what I tell her," I said confidently, looking at the girl, who just scowled at me.
"Yeah right," she spat.
"Oh, I think you will. I have no reservations about turning you into what we are, my dear."
She blinked and went silent, staring at the ground.

Truda

I snickered. "Maybe, but probably not. If we did, I'd probably killed myself. Humans have not impressed me tonight."

Ivan

I laughed loudly. "He sounds pretty serious, I'd listen to him if I were you," I told the girl.

[Callie]

Blade

I smiled at her. "Well, you're not alone. Not that they usually impress me."

Mikah

I just scowled again, the guy's plan starting to come together in my head. He was going to threaten me so I let him do whatever I wanted. I would be the... what was it... czarina?... of Russia, and he would threaten me so he could use my power to do whatever he wanted there.

Ivan

I put my feet on a vacant seat in the limo. The girl was going to be trouble, I could tell. Thankfully we were not only stronger than her, but we also outnumbered her. I couldn't help but to smirk. This would probably not be an easy mission, but at least it would be fun and dramatic.

Truda

"True," I said with a shrug. Then I added, "Let's raid their house." A grin spread across my face.

[Callie]

OOC: Limo? XD

Blade

I grinned back at her. "I like the way you think," I said, climbing out of the pool and pulling my shirt on. I'd put my jeans back on later, when my boxers were relatively dry.

Vladimir

I leaned against the side of the van and sighed softly. "So... What's your name?" I asked the other vampire courteously.

OOC: O.o I don't even... I didn't mean to write that

Truda

I got up, as well, pulling on my shirt as I wandered into the house. It was quite nice... a bit small but otherwise okay. After finding a stair that went to the second floor, I bounced up the steps, taking two at a time.

Ivan

"Ivan," I said simply.

[Callie]

Blade

"So enthusiastic," I remarked as I followed her up the stairs, with visibly less bounciness in my step.

Vladimir

"Well, Ivan, it's nice to meet you; I'm Vladimir. Or Vlad. It makes no difference to me." I glanced over to our other companion. "And you, my dear?"
She glared at me before answering sullenly, "Mikah."

Truda

I got on to the second floor much quicker than Blade and it didn't take me long to bounce into one of the bedrooms, either.
"Hello."
Oh crap. I swirled around toward the door but it was already closed. I was trapped in here. Or I could jump out the window. I'd probably save for an emergancy escape route. There was a man sitting on the bed in the room. Surprisingly, he was human, not much of a opponent. Though, on the other hand, he was holding a gun and a stake, so it was obvious that he wasn't just another stupid human. It was a vampire slayer.
"What?" I asked.
"Relax, I just want to talk to you. At first." He smiled.
"Talk then."
"I've come to deliver a warning, or an opportunity; depends on how you view it."
"If you're hired by that stupid mortal group, tell them I don't care."
His smile got wider. "Oh, no. You got it all wrong. I'm sent from very unlikely sources."

Ivan

I nodded my head slightly, not even looking at her. "Well, look at us all connecting. Maybe this road trip won't be so bad after all."

[Callie]

Blade

I let out a sigh as I made it up the stairs and saw Truda nowhere in sight. "Where...? I don't like hunting games unless they're with humans, my dear," I called as I looked around the hallway.

OOC: So oblivious. xD

Vladimir

I laughed. "Maybe you're right."

OOC: And feel free to fast forward. xD Unless you have any important conversations you want to initiate between them. I can even get rid of Vlad temporarily if you need me to. XD

Truda

"Oh, really?" I asked and furrowed my eyebrows together. "Just tell me and leave, I don't have too much time."
He sighed. "I'll tell you when you can leave. If you didn't think so, you would have gone by now."
I pursed my lips and then said, "Fine."
"A vampire was killed last week," he said.
"And I care because...?"
"It was The Unholy's bodyguard."
I sat down on the chair next to a desk, just by the window. "Well, that sucks to be them."
"Yeah, but they think it's the first sign that someone is trying to bring them down."
Before I could slip in a sarcastic remark, he'd continued:
"They want you to find whoever that is."

OOC: We can skip Don't have anything super important now

OOC: It should totally have been Blade because he was bored. xD Unless Alex has plottiness.

"Truda," I called with a sigh, crossing my arms and deciding to stand and wait for her to magically appear.

OOC: Alex did not have plotiness And that works! Jade, we were actually just gonna skip for our two characters - not a global skip, but you can skip as well if you want And I vote that Callie can start the Vlad/Ivan/Mikah skip

Truda

I sighed in frustration. What was taking Blade so long anyway? He could be my knight in shining armor... or vampire, whatever.
"Fine," I said instead. "I'll find the person and then you'll leave me alone."
The guy nodded once before he calmly went over to the window, opened it and dropped down.
I gritted my teeth. I could have killed him when his back was turned but The Unholy would probably just find me again with someone more powerful.
I opened the door to the bedroom and stepped out in to the hallway, seeing Blade on the other side. I scowled at him.

ooc: Well im not bothered, I just thought so my charries dont have to talk to each other...lol...I was thinking maybe Callista bring her relative Gaby back with her...to meet Alexander and then Ryan and Mia could move onto the rave lol.

Blade

"There you are," I said when Truda walked out of a room. Then I frowned at her. "Disturbance?" Had there been a human in there or something?

Vladimir

"And here we are," I said grandly as the van stopped in a back alley. I threw open the door and put some more tape on her mouth, pulling her out of the van with me. "For now, we're stuck in this warehouse. Once we prove her ancestry tomorrow, we'll be living in the palace. We'll tell them you're to be her consort, and I, the general of the armies," I said with relish. The idea of commanding people who, when, and where to fight sounded like a grand idea to me.
For the first time since I'd had her with me, the girl looked absolutely frightened.

Truda

"No shit, Sherlock," I hissed. "A vampire hunter was waiting for me in the room."

Ivan

"Finally," I said and jumped out of th car, stretching a bit when I got out. "Sounds like a good plan to me, what do you say, Mikah?" I grinned mischeviously at her, winked and stroked her cheek once. "Not a good turn in your life, I suppose."

Callista

I carried Gaby into the house, Id been waiting for her to close up shop for hours but she just did not give up and I was worried incase of the sun, but luckily an hour before dawn she emerged and I grabbed her and ran "Im home!"

[Callie]

Blade

I made a face, then arched an eyebrow at her. "Shouldn't you be dead, then? Or did you kill him? Or her?" I assumed she'd killed... whoever it was, but you could never be too sure.

Mikah

I just glowered at him, then let my mind go into overdrive. Vampires slept... right? I'd make a plan while they were sleeping, and then I'd get out. I had until they woke up, after all. But I could not and would not stick around here and let them try to control two countries through me. They'd have to turn me into one of them first.

Alex

"Hello," I replied calmly, not even looking up from the book I was reading. Reading might seem like a waste of time, especially since I've read so many books over the years, but I was bored.

Truda

I shrugged. "Well, he'd probably have killed me first then. But that wasn't why he was there. He was on a freaking mission." I rolled my eyes. "It's pathetic that The Unholy have started working together with vampire hunters."

Ivan

I walked next to Vlad and Mikah, my hands locked behind my back. There was a bounce in my step that hadn't been there for years. Finally things were exciting again! And it only took about 65 years.

[Jadey!]

Callista

"What you reading?" I asked placing Gaby down on the couch.

[Callie]

Blade

Again, I made a face. "Vampire hunters? If that's not a sign of desperation, I don't know what is. What was the mission, anyways?"

Vladimir

I opened the door to the room with the two cots on it, then closed it once we were inside. I shoved Mikah into the corner with a chair and took the tape off her mouth, but kept the handcuffs on her. "Sleep tight, my dear," I said mockingly, climbing onto one of the cots and laying down.

OOC: Do vampires sleep? o.O

Alex

"World History, volume 11," I replied, shooting a glance at the new girl who entered the room. I didn't know her.

Truda

I sighed. "Someone killed their bodyguard, so I need to find that person and kill them." I grimaced.

Ivan

"Don't let the bed bugs bite," I said quietly before laying down on the empty bed. I put my hands behind my head, trying to closer my eyes and go to sleep.

[Callie]

Blade

I hid my shock pretty well, deciding now might not be a good time to admit that boredom was a killer. Literally. "They only had one bodyguard?"

Mikah

I settled down in the chair, waiting for things to really quiet down. They had to fall asleep soon. Hopefully before I did.

OOC: When she goes for it, you should probably have Ivan catch her.

I shrugged. "Probably not. But they think of it as a warning... a major threat to their little group."

Ivan

It didn't take long before my eyelids were very heavy and then it was extremely easy to just let go and fall deeper in to sleep.

Callista

"Intresting I cant remember which one that was." She frowned

[Callie]

Blade

I rolled my eyes. "Since they're really old vampires, shouldn't the bastards be able to protect themselves?" I muttered bitterly.

Mikah

When it seemed like their breathing had slowed, I carefully sat up and pushed myself out of the chair, wishing that my hands weren't handcuffed behind my back; things would be much easier if they weren't. I made my way to the door, moving my hands around to my right side to try and open it silently.

Truda

"Well, whatever," I said with a lighter tone. "I'll just kill whoever it is and then they'll get off my back. That's what matters." I nodded.

Ivan

Somehow everything was silent, but my eyes still opened up nad my mind came back to reality. It really was silent. Too silent.

[Callie]

Blade

I smiled at her. "Well, whatever works, I suppose. What were we doing again?"

Mikah

I couldn't get a grip on the doorknob with my hands like this, but I was not going to go over to Vlad's sleeping body and try to get the key off him. No way, no way. I'd just keep trying to get a grip on the doorknob, thank you very much.

Ivan

As I sat up, I noticed very quickly that Mikah's bed was empty. I silently got up, not going to wake Vlad. I could take care of this myself. I didn't make a single sound as I stalked toward the exit, I was a vampire after all. Then I saw her silhouette. I smirked and then leaned over and turned the doorknow.
"Problem?" I whispered in to her ear.

Truda

"We'll have to find him," I said simply. "So... have you ever tracked someone before?"
