This is a story I'm working on and I thought it would make a good roleplay because the vampires are quite different :]
For ages vampires and mortals have been able to live in the same world. It has not often been peaceful but somehow we have managed to find a balance. Humans slay vampires and vampire slay humans. That's the way it has always been. Though recently The Unholy, a clan with all the oldest and strongest vampires, have begun to get cocky. They have followers all over the darkworld and they want to take over the human race, they want to control them. They believe that the strongest race need to rule the world in order to create the perfect society and they feel that mortals are starting to get too weak; they are being corrupted by all of their feelings and needs.
Recently the balance have started to shift, a lot more vampires are being created now. People say that The Unholy are building a vampire army but it's just rumors...
Information to The Dark Gift and stuff:
Vampires
[/b] The vampires are not eternal. They become around 5000 years and when they "die" they turn into dust.
- The same thing happens if they are exposed to sunlight, poof and they're history.
- The vampires are not invicible. They are stronger then mortals, of course, but they can't lift a car with their pinky.
- The biggest reason to why they can take more hits then a human is because their skin is like a shell. It is hard and protects them from harm a lot of the time. Though if you're able to cut their skin through stabbing them (for example) then they will definitely feel it. They feel pain almost as much as mortals but they can handle the pain better. They can ignore it so it feels a bit numb.
- The vampire's powers lie more with their other senses. They are faster, have better hearing, better vision etc and that is what makes them great killers.
- If a vampire gets hurt they need to drink human blood. The worse the injure, the more blood they need.
- The only way to kill a vampire is to stab their heart.
- If a vampire's brain gets injured in some way (let's say someone shots them) they are not killed. They are merely immobolized (coma-ish) and the only way to recover from it is if you get human blood. Since they can't get it themself someone else need to get human blood for them.
- No vegetarians! If a vampire doesn't drink human blood they will die eventually. Though they rarely die from thirst because if they go long enough without human blood they will become crazy and then they will do almost anything to get some blood.
- Vampires do drink animal blood sometimes but that is the last solution if you have no humans around you. Animal blood only buy you more time so that you can find human blood.
- Remember, just because they drink human blood doesn't mean that they're evil :]

Bio: Mia had a really normal, quiet childhood. Her father and mother are the best, she has an older brother and a younger sister (though they act more like twins). Her grandmother was slightly insane, she kept talking about vampires all the time. She told Mia about how she'd fallen in love with one so she had let him drink her blood. Her parents found her grandmother slightly annoying but Mia loved her. Her stories were entertaining! She met Ryan in high school and they became best friends. They still are.

Personality: Sarcastic, selfish, loud, hot-headed, flirty, intelligent.
Bio: When Ivan was a human he heard of the vampire clans in his city and he was immediately fascinated by their lifestyle. He searched for them and when he was 20 he found them. They were feeding on a few humans on the woods and Ivan told them about his wish, he wanted to become one of them. The leader granted his wish but only after torturing him insanely and Ivan thought they were going to leave him to die and if they would have waited a few more minutes to change him he would have died. Then they left. He laid in the woods for a few days as the transformation happened. On his first day as a vampire he was so thirsty, so weak and that was the day his younger brother, Anthony, found him. Ivan was egoistic, he thought of his own survival and he drank Anthony's blood. He was going to kill him but accidentally turned him into a vampire instead.

Becoming a Vampire:
- There is only one way to become a vampire and a lot of vampires are created out of accident. A vampire needs to drink a humans blood and drink all of his/her blood. When the mortal is drained the transformation will begin. It will take a few days and the vampire will be very vulnerable during the transformation because he/she will be in a coma and that is why the vampire is easiest to kill during it's transformation. On the last day of their transformation their heart will stop and they will be in need of blood asap. The way to stop the transformation is to stab it's heart.
Mortals
- These are just regular humans. Most of the humans don't know about vampires or they jsut believe they are stories but some mortals know that vampires are real.
- There are a few mortals that even think of themselves as vampire-hunters :]

Especially since the humans begun to hunt vampires and shun them to the shadows. After that things started looking up, the humans forgot about vampires and continued with their dull lives. He begun to spend time with other vampires and he soon realized that he was one of the oldest vampires to this day. That made him feel powerful. He is sick of having to hide, he wants the whole world to know that vampire exists. Then they can live in a perfect world.
