Blade
"You rolled your eyes," I said, pretending to pout. "It hurt my feelings." I put a hand over my heart dramatically. "And the librarian didn't fill you up enough?"
Mikah
"I probably will. But I'll survive... maybe," I said, referring to the fact I was in a limo full of vampires who could probably just kill me on a whim. Not that I thought they would, since apparently they needed me.

Truda
I put my hand over his heart. "I must have broken your heart, it's not beating," I said dramatically. "And I eat a lot of such a tiny girl."
Ivan
I didn't comment on her surviving or not, 'cause I knew for a fact that she wouldn't. "Aren't a little excited that we're in a new country though? I thought this was the kind of stuff humans adored."

Blade
"Exactly my point!" I exclaimed, then raised an eyebrow at her. "Apparently so. You wanna go on your own, or are you dragging me with you?"
Mikah
"I'm not exactly a tourist on this trip."

Ivan
"Well, it's still worth to see..." While you can see it.
Truda
"I can always drag Abel with me if you don't wanna go," I said.

Blade
"Abel will just slow you down," I decided and grinned. "I'll come with." I winked at her. "Besides, the company's good." It'd been a while since I'd flirted, and Truda was far from ugly, so why the hell not? And if she didn't like me that way, then she'd tell me to stop and I would. Maybe.
Mikah
I just shrugged. "Have you been to Russia before?" I asked him, peering out the window.

Truda
"Then come along, stud," I said and walked out of my room and the opened the front door. I zipped up my hoodie and put the hood on me. A girl with pink hair was easy to recognize, so I wanted to at least try to stay hidden.
Ivan
"No." I shifted my weight, turning myself toward her. "But I had relatives there. When I was younger. A long time ago."

Mikah
"You didn't visit?" Okay, so he had a point: Russia was beautiful. The architecture and the people and the landmarks and... everything.
Blade
"Stud, huh?" I said with a laugh, heading out of the room after her. Abel was passed out on the couch with the TV on low. I scribbled a note telling him where we'd gone and left it on the coffee table in front of him.

Ivan
"No. I might have, if I hadn't..." I scowled. "Well you know."
Truda
"That's what you want to be, no?" I asked, batting my eyelashes as we walked out the same corridor we just came through earlier.

Mikah
"Yeah," I murmured, turning back around to look at him. "I suppose getting your blood drained until you were almost dead wasn't exactly in your plans, then?" I had no idea why I was talking to him, but I was at a point where I just didn't even want to think about it.
Blade
I followed her outside, looking at the back of her head. I couldn't decide if that was a rejection or not.

OOC: Poor Blade IvanI couldn't help but snicker. I wasn't sure how she'd react if I told her it had been in my plans. "Well, it all turned out for the better," I instead said. TrudaI walked in silence as I kept looking around me. I was in the mood for-- Hot, I thought as I saw a guy in his early twenties walk on the other side of the road. Come to mama, I said as I felt my fangs growing. I didn't realize I'd stopped walking.

Mikah
I raised my eyebrows at him and cocked my head. "Did it? What did you have to give up to get there?"
Blade
Not exactly looking where I was going, I crashed into Truda. "Why are we - oh. Never mind," I said and smiled a bit. Though, to be honest, I wasn't sure whether she was checking him out to see if she liked him or sizing him up to eat.

"Everything," I said honestly with a shrug.
Truda
"Dinner's ready," I said with a wide grin as I followed the guy, waiting for him to go someplace private.

Blade
I chuckled and sat down on a bench. "You kids have fun. I'll be here," I told her.
Mikah
"But was it worth it?" I asked him. He gave up everything to be a vampire. I mean, sure, you get a neverending lifespan which would be pretty cool, but you also have to kill people to survive, you're eternally damned (if you believe in that sort of thing), and you can never have your old life back.

Truda
"Thank you!" I called as I rounded a corner. When the guy walked by an alley, I was by him in less than a second, pushing him in to the dark shadows. Before her could even scream for help, I'd snapped his neck.
Ivan
"Families, love and all that stress just wasn't for me," I replied. "So I picked the better life. With no disappointment." Or at least a life where hurting people was a natural thing, then I couldn't feel bad about it.

Mikah
"Is it true what they say about vampires? How they can just... shut off their emotions?" I asked him curiously. I honestly had no idea if they could or not, and I knew a lot about vampires. I couldn't help but think that it would be nice, though - being able to shut off your emotions, being able to just stop feeling if you wanted to. It was an easy way out, a cheap one, but it was intriguing. I knew that I wouldn't give up what I had, though. To not feel would be nice sometimes, but to give up everything so I didn't have to deal with the crap of everyday life? What if I couldn't even feel the joys of it anymore, either?

"No," I said and scowled at her. "But when you don't have to use your emotions they get locked inside. It just takes years." I folded my arms over my chest, looking out the car window again.

"Locking them inside so you don't have to feel them does?" I asked. I'd noticed the scowl, and in the back of my mind, I was kind of scared, but hey, I was probably going to die sometime in this place anyways.

I shot her an effortless grin. I could tell she didn't think very highly of us vampires now, but at the end of all this she wouldn't think being one would be so bad. Everything is better than death.

The car pulled to a stop, and everyone started getting out. I looked away from the vampire that had originally kidnapped me when he grabbed my arm to pull me out of the car. He seemed to do that a lot lately. The girl who had the voice that matched the one in my dream walked around to stand next to me. "I'm going to make us an appointment; I'll be right back," he promised, kissing her on the cheek before walking into a huge building. You could feel its presence, no matter if you could actually see or not.

I was last to get out of the car, but eventually I stepped out and closed the door behind me; crossing my arms over my chest. I looked at almost anything, but not the girl. Speaking to her in the car had been enough.

"Stay here," I told the girl, walking over to Ivan. "You should leave," I told him, biting my lip.

"Vladimir's planning to kill you. He doesn't want to have to share any power," I blurted, resisting the urge to turn around to see if he was behind me. I hated betraying him like this, but I didn't want anyone else to be hurt. I loved him... but the man he had once been, the man I loved, was long gone.

I nodded. "I am. The way I see it, you've got three options. You can stay here and wait for him to stab you in the back, you can go off on your own, or you can help Hanley and I save her," I told him, jabbing a finger back to the girl. Hanley raised a hand from his spot against the car with a small smile. I was glad I'd told him to come in case things went bad and I needed back-up. Vladimir was older and he could beat me in a fight - not without difficulty, but two against one would be harder for him.

"Help her?" I asked, even though I'd heard her perfectly. Honestly, my first instinct was to run straight away; leave all of them behind and return to the US. Then, I looked at the girl and I immediately decided to stay. "So be it," I hissed.
