"Thanks," I said dryly as Adrienne looked cautiously at her piece. "Oh, just eat it, for God's sake!" I rolled my eyes and took a bite of my own piece, making a face when I realized that Helena was right.
Des ate her pizza happily with no complaints.

In my opinion, Kellan was just a jerk. Zerona knew it too, yet she thought every guy was hot, so it meant nothing.

"Alright, we'll see you then," I said, hanging up the phone and going out to the living room, where Adrienne was laying in the middle of the carpet and Helena was sitting on the couch. I handed her phone back to her. "They'll be here soon," I said with a sigh. "You should let me invite your brother so I'm not the only guy. I mean, he needs some action, too."
"What makes you think you're getting any?" Adrienne asked, amused, from the floor.
I ignored her.
