I squinted and, far in the distance, but coming closer, was the Fire Nation. Shit. I went around to the back of my house and moved my hands in circular motions, so that I could move the boulder around. I actually got it to move!

I saw the Fire Nation marching towards the Earth Nation and thought one thing: Kialish and Sin. I had to warn them, no matter how much Sin got on my nerves, so I broke into a sprint, running for their house.

I eventually got there, passing the Fire Nation, and dove like I was playing baseball into the backyard. "Holy - Dice, what are you doing here?" he asked, eyes wide as he slowly set the boulder he was moving around on the ground.
I stood up and took a deep breath. "Warning you that the Fire Nation is marching its ass here right now."
"I know."
I looked at him, surprised. "Why aren't you running?"
"I'm going to fight," he answered slowly, raising an eyebrow at me.
I shook my head vigorously. "Ki, you can't fight! You'll get yourself killed."
He glared at me. "I know how to fight, Dice. I won't get killed."
"Well, obviously you don't plan on it, but you need to fucking run."
Ki just sighed, looking irritated.

I pointed to my ankle. "I twisted my ankle, duh," I replied.
Elaine made a face. "Trust you to do something stupid and ruin my whole day," she murmured, and walked off. I just rolled my eyes at her.

I hid behind a tree and repeated my earlier movements, sending a boulder crashing right in the middle of the marching army. They firebended at the spot i was at and I jumped away just as the tree burst in flames.

I took a deep breath and concentrated on lifting the boulder up and throwing it at the army. Dice stood sort of frozen; not that I blamed her. If my own people were attacking my best friend and his - well, her - kingdom, I wouldn't know who to side with either.
