Rise of the Kingdom

[Louise]

Elaine

My sister laughed. "You know what? You entertain me so much, I've changed my mind. Let's go," she replied.
I fistpumped the air. "Yes!" I exclaimed, and ran outside and waited for Liliana to follow.

[Emmy]

Zarek
I yawned again and stood up, stumbling to the side a little and rubbed my eyes. "Did mom make breakfast?" I asked. "Yeah," came the reply.

[Louise]

Liliana

I sighed. "This is going to be a long trip," I murmured to myself, as I threw a bunch of neccessities (food, water, shelter...you know, the works) into a bad. I then followed Elaine, who was skipping happily in the direction of the Earth Kingdom.
Yep, this was definately going to be a long trip.

[Emmy]

Zevlin
I sighed and put my earthbending scroll down. Maybe I'd actually try the bending today, instead of reading the paper over and over.

[Louise]

Elaine

It took us ages, but we eventually got to Zevlin and Zarek's house. I turned around and made a face at Liliana. "What are you doing here?" I asked.
Liliana returned the look to me. "You said we're going. Not you."
"I only needed you for the trip. Your assistance isn't needed anymore."

Liliana

I rolled my eyes. "Whatever. I'm going to find some food and water. Don't do anything stupid with your boyfriend, ok?"
Elaine blushed. "He's not my boyfriend!" she retorted.
I shook my head and laughed. "True. You wish he was," I replied, and walked off.

Elaine

I groaned. Uh, Liliana could be so annoying at times! I knocked on the door.

[Emmy]

Zevlin
Since Zarek was doing...something, I walked up to the door, scroll in hand and opened it. "Hello...? Oh." I blushed faintly. "Hi, Elaine."

[Louise]

Elaine

I waved. "Hi Zevlin! Is Zarek home?" I stood on my tiptoes and peered around, looking for him.

[Emmy]

Zevlin
And once again she asks for my brother. Mental sigh. "He's in the kitchen doing something," i said stepping aside so she could come in.

[Louise]

Elaine

"Oh cool," I said absentmindly, walking in that direction.

[Emmy]

Zevlin
I watched her go and went outside, shutting the door quietly behind me. Practice time, I think.
Zarek
I looked up quickly when I heard footsteps coming my way. I was sharpening my sword, so I held it up threatingly before I saw who it was. I smiled. "Hi, Elaine!"

[Louise]

Elaine

I jumped at the sight of the sword. "Hi Zarek. Please don't kill me with that thing." I didn't like sharp objects or anything like that.

[Ashley (;]

Lauren

I followed along the border of the Fire Nation, helping keep up with guarding duty. Apparently the Fire Lord thought I'd be good since I'd kill anything that got in my way. What a wonderful reputation...

Richmond

"Richmond, you're never going to get anywhere if you keep using the equipment like that," my father chastised me.
"It's a shovel, not 'equipment'!" I told him angrily and threw it on the ground. "I don't even want to be in this God forbidden place!"

Kara

I watched a couple of the waterbenders practicing strategy techniques on each other. If I was able to be a waterbender, then maybe I could find a way to get back at them for almost killing me...

Brandon

I landed down on the ground somewhere unfamiliar. I had to guess Earth Kingdom territory by the forests, but I didn't carry a map with me.

[Louise]

Liliana

I explored for a while, and ended up somewhere that I knew was just open ground. Not the best idea to be here, but...hell, I was curious. I continued further.

[Emmy]

Zarek
I smirked. "Sorry. Was just sharpening it." I placed it back in the hilt and looked her over. "Growin' up, I see? What brings you here?"

[Louise]

Elaine

I looked down at the ground sheepishly. "I just felt like spontaneously visiting, that's all," I murmured.

[Ashley (;]

Richmond

"Pick it up and get back to work," Dad yelled.
I rolled my eyes and let a pile of rocks crush the shovel before running off.

[Emmy]

Zarek
"Ahhh. Just random. Got it." I heard a faint rumble outside. "hah! Sounds like Zevlin's trying to bend." I smirked at this.

[Louise]

Liliana

I could see, in the faint distance, an army of Firebenders heading towards the Earth Kingdom. I turned around and began to make my way back. I needed to get to Elaine, she needed to be safe.

Elaine

"Is he ever not bending?" I asked, tilting my head in confusion. "He had a scroll in his hand when he answered the door."

[Emmy]

Zarek
"Yeah, most of the time he was studying that scroll. He finally got the courage to try it."
Zevlin
I moved my hands in a circular motion, and then brought them up. A circular boulder followed suit. I smiled. It was working, so far.

[Louise]

Elaine

"Do you practise too?" I asked.

[Emmy]

Zarek
I shook my head. "Don't see why I have to, when i've got my sword."
Zevlin
I placed one foot forward and thrust my arms out, throwing the boulder right at a nearby tree, making it crack in half and fall over the opposite direction from the house. Reading pays off, I thought with a smile.

[Louise]

Elaine

I smiled. "Oh, cool." I cautiously walked over to the sword. "When did you get this? I don't think you had it last time I was here."

[Emmy]

Zarek
"Dad brought it home a few months ago. Zevlin got a dagger. It was right after Kenley died..."

[Ashley (;]

Richmond
I glanced up to see what the noise was and saw the Fire Nation. Dad motioned for me to come back, but I knew I needed to help. For once in my life I could take action. I turned and kept running for the village.

[Louise]

Liliana

After running for a while, I tripped on a rock and went tumbling. "Oww," I murmured, and my eyes burned with tears when I tried to get up again. Great, just great.

Elaine

My face fell. "Oh..."

[Ashley (;]

Richmond
I stopped running and kneeled down next to a girl I found lying on the ground, "Are you alright?"

[Louise]

Liliana

I tried to get up again, but to no avail. "I think I've twisted my ankle or something," I answered.

[Ashley (;]

Richmond
I frowned and wrapped an arm around the girl to pull her up. "We're not that far from the village, luckily. Did you see the Fire Nation, too?"

[Louise]

Liliana

I nodded. "I did, and that's why I ran. It's probably why I wasn't noticing where I was going and tripped over, too." I winced in pain as I stood up.

[Ashley (;]

Richmond
I picked her up in my arms and kept heading to the village. "I'm Richmond, by the way."
