"Uhh, do I get a sword?" I said angrily.

[Callie]

Constance

I tossed her a dagger from my boot. "Sorry. It's all I've got."

Bridget
I caught the dagger clumsily. "Oh crumpits, Its fine though," I told Levi.

[Callie]

Levi

I nodded slightly and waited. "Come out, come out, wherever you are..."

[I'macoolcat]

Bridget
I heard the footsteps coming closer...they were moving slower now, taking one step at a time.

[Callie]

Levi

I sighed and slumped slightly, not standing at alert so much anymore. I didn't have the time or patience for this. Hadn't whoever it was realized by now that we knew they were here?

Bridget
"Are you not the least bit concerned that you're going to get killed?" I hissed.

[Callie]

Levi

I shrugged. "Not particularly. We can take them. Whenever they decide to show themselves."

[I'macoolcat]

Bridget
So cocky, thats whats going to get him killed. "Whatever you say." The footsteps were getting louder and closer.

[Callie]

Constance

I rolled my eyes at Levi. "Come on, let's just go and meet them."
"But - "
"Come on. I don't have the patience for your smartass attitude at the moment, Levi," I hissed. He seemed to know better than to argue at the moment, and he follow me towards the footsteps.

Bridget
I trotted along behind Constance and Levi, making sure that if there was going to be a fight, I would get there last.

[Callie]

OOC: *doesn't know what to post*

ooc: Hmm. Have some people just leap out like BAM attack.

[Callie]

OOC: Okay. I love how you phrased that, by the way.

Levi

People suddenly appeared from the trees, and Constance immediately hit one with her arrow. I got into a fight with another with my sword. There. Now things weren't quite so boring.

Bridget
Someone came at me with a sword, obviously not realizing who I was. They swung at my head, missing by only an inch or two. Well if thats how they want to play, fine then...

[Callie]

Constance

I whirled around and managed to stick someone in the tree with an arrow before he did the same to me. Then I turned to see Levi decapitate someone with his sword. Well, that was pleasant, but he'd saved my life. "Thanks," I said briskly, loading another arrow into the bow as he went to help our captive.

Bridget
I elbowed Levi back. "No," I said angrily. While dangerously swinging my sword at the guy in front of me. "I want to take care of this guy all by myself," I said while taking chopping the guys head off.

[Callie]

Levi

My eyebrows went up, but I stepped back and worked on fighting some other guy. "That was nicely done," I said conversationally, like I wasn't fighting someone or in the risk of dying.

Bridget
"Thanks," I grunted as I spun around to start a fight with another guy.

[Callie]

Levi

The number of people was quickly diminishing, and I had to wonder how they'd noticed that we'd taken the girl so quickly. Last time I'd checked, they weren't the most observant people.

Bridget
As I stabbed the person I was fighting I heard a voice call my name from behind me. "What...?" I turned and saw my father approaching me through the remaining few fighters.

[Callie]

Levi

I managed to decapitate another guard, then held my sword at the ready for the guy coming towards us while Constance shot an arrow towards one more man, then also pointed her bow towards the guy, loading another arrow in so she could shoot if it was necessary, but he hadn't tried to kill us yet, so...

Bridget
I narrowed my eyes and pointed my sword at my father. "State your buisness," I said coldly. He started laughing at me. "Bridget, put the damn sword down and come with me," he said through fits of laughter.

[Callie]

Constance

"The only way she's going with you is if you've got the ransom money," I told him coldly, taking a step forward.
"Five thousand dollars," Levi added. "Hand it over or leave, and maybe we won't kill you."

Bridget
I scowled. "I'm not going with him even if he does pay...which he won't," I said, while eying him warily.
"You want, five thousand dollars for this little thing?" He pointed at me.

[Callie]

Levi

"Wow, you're a great dad, aren't you," I said, rolling my eyes. "Christ, I'd be a better dad than you. And that's saying something."
"Well, if you're not going to pay the money, I suggest you leave. Because you've already went and attacked our camp while we were relaxing," Constance said pointedly.
"Yeah... she's not very forgiving when people disturb her resting," I said, referring to Constance. I lifted up the bottom of my pantleg, where there was a large scar from an arrow. "See?" I was pretty sure she'd just aim for his head or his heart, too.

Bridget
"Come on, can't we negotiate? I mean, we've already had a couple neighbors asking about Bridget, saying they saw her take the woods path and that she didn't come out, so, you see the situation i'm in," my father told Levi and Constance.

[Callie]

Levi

I pretended to think for a moment. "Sure. But we're rogues. Not sympathetic." I glanced over to Bridget for a moment, then back to her father. "Tell you what. I'm feeling sort of generous. Sort of. You have two minutes to try and convince her to go back with you. If you can, you can take her. If not, we'll just have to keep her. We'll have sleepovers like best friends and everything."

Bridget
"I like sleepovers," I said through clenched teeth, "You're two minutes start now."
"Oh come on Bridget, don't be difficult," My father complained. "Me and you're mother will miss you if you don't come home to us."
"Tick tock tick tock," I said threateningly.

[Callie]

Levi

I tried to hold back a smile. She really didn't want to go, did she? "Pointer for you: try and make her believe that and maybe she'll come with you," I told him as Constance lowered her bow reluctantly, realizing she wasn't going to get to shoot him for another two minutes, at least.
