"Bonkers? You sound like my grandpa," I teased, smirking. "And I'm not bonkers."

"First word that came to mind," I said, chugging the rest of my drink. "Woo, these are going fast!" I shook my head to clear it a little, then looked at her in false disbelief. "Oh, sure, you are absolutely normal..." The teasing smile fell from my face. "Actually...no...you're above average. Not like most girls." Wow, I'm surprised I haven't made a move on her yet. I'm not being pervy with her like I was with all other girls, especially Eileen.

"Am I really that special?" I asked him with a raised eyebrow. "I mean, you've only told me how different I am from most girls twice now, and I'm starting to wonder if it's a good thing or a bad thing."

I eyed her warily. "Good thing. Most likely." I was about to call the bartender for more, but he came and took my glass and filled it up without me asking.

"Most likely?" I laughed. "Okay." Then I stood up and almost fell over from the dizziness, so I sat back down on the stool. Apparently I wasn't going home anytime soon...

I raised an eyebrow. "Need some help over there?"

Dawn

I shook my head stubbornly. "I'll just stay here..."

I frowned. "All right...I don't see you gambling for the rest of the night." I felt my corners of my lips twitching into a smile.

[Callie]

Dawn

" 'Course not." I smirked a bit. "I don't gamble. Well... not tonight, at least."

Andy
I felt both my eyebrows raise so high that they were under my bangs. "Don't gamble? Why come to a casino when you won't gamble? If you wanted a drink, there are bars all across town." Sort of. Then she added the not tonight, and I managed to hide my surprised expression. "Nevermind...but why not tonight?"

Dawn

"Because I'm drunk," I answered as if it were obvious. Probably because it was - to me, at least.

Andy
I laughed. "Right. Don't want to wake up and find yourself married and broke, now do ya? Those are the usual scenarios."

Eileen
I took Bree's hand as we walked out of the daycare. "You need to pay at the end of the week!" one of the teachers called after me. Well, that would be my paycheck. Which leaves...no money for rent. I sighed, pulling Bree along. "We're going to Momma's work now, okay? You have to be very quiet and don't play when you're there. Just sit at the table." Bree nodded, understanding.

"That would be it," I said. "Can't say the married one has ever happened, but I have ended up broke."

I tilted my head slightly. "Well, you seem to be doing just fine now. I know a few poor people, and trust me, you ain't like any of them." That made me think of Eileen; she was obviously poor, the way she struggled with work and how hard she worked, and all that crap she took from her boss and the customers...Oh yeah. That was flat-up broke.

Eileen
I sat Bree in a small booth near the back of the diner, by the restrooms. "Honey, the potty is over there if you have to use it. Otherwise don't leave your seat and don't talk to anybody. Okay?" Bree nodded slowly. I set down three crayons and a kids menu in front of her. "Knock yourself out," I muttered, then ran to take orders.

"Sounds fun," I remarked sarcastically.

Adrian

I shrugged. "I haven't seen him in a few years. It might be."

Dawn

"Well, of course I am - now," I told him, nodding slightly.

"Well that's good...casinos can make you broke or rich. 'Course, I come for the bar more than the gambling. This place is huge, so it's more fun being here."

Dawn

"I usually come for drinking, rambling, and because I count on naive people," I said, holding back a smirk.

I chuckled lowly. This girl was hilarious. "I'd like to see you win against pros," I said with a smirk.

"I probably wouldn't, but hey, it's worth a shot, right? Not to mention I'm just so innocent looking, I couldn't possibly know how to play poker," I said, batting my eyelashes and smirking at him.

"Oh yeah. I'm sure the sight of you at that poker table would stun all the men there. I'm sure they would wonder why a girl, especially a girl this hot, would play such a rough game." I smirked and took another swig of the Southern Comfort.

"Oh, but that's exactly what I wanted, little do they know. Guess I shouldn't ever play poker with you, then, now that you know my secrets."

"No, probably not. But poker isn't my game anyway. I prefer pool and Texas Hold'em."

I shrugged and smiled slightly at him. "I play whatever you can earn money in and there are other people involved in the game."

"Niceee. Should I assume you lose very little?" I joked.

Dawn

I laughed and grinned widely at him. "Pretty much." I yawned a bit and almost leaned back, before remembering that it was a stool and I wasn't leaning anywhere without falling over. I decided to get down and try to walk one more time. I succeeded. As in, everything was still kind of blurry and I was still dizzy, but I hadn't fallen over yet.

I jumped off the stool, stumbled a bit and got a head rush, then stood behind Dawn. "Just incase you fall, I'm right here," I teased, but serious.

Dawn

I laughed a bit. "Thanks," I said, waiting a moment. I didn't fall over, so I took a few steps. Still good. "Well," I said, turning to look at him, "I guess I'll be off then. I should get home."

"Oh no you're not! There is no way you are driving home. Even if you feel fine, you're still under the influence and you can be arrested."
