"Well thats good....Ive got to wait for my bags and you should say bye to whoever and i'll wait for you." I smiled

"Ive missed sausage rolls and salad." I grinned

Chris

"Eh, salad's not my thing, but I can agree with you on the sausage rolls," I told her with a grin.

Erik

"... I think most people here are pissed at me, so..." I smiled slightly. "Probably not the best idea."

Damon

"Where do you think they are?" I asked her.

I shrugged. "Beats me."

Trent

"Sure about this?" I asked with a grin. Normally I wouldn't of even asked, but something told me if she was just drunk she'd literally murder me in the morning.

"Not at all," I mumbled, pressing my lips to his. "Just stop talking," I instructed. I didn't want this to be hindered by pointless words. Like he'd said, I'd needed to be distracted. And that's all this was, right?

"Me too," I said, also shrugging.

I smirked slightly as I worked on unbuttoning her shirt. I could do that.

When everything was over and it was a few hours later, I woke up. Huh. I hadn't realized I'd fallen asleep. I looked over to see Trent next to me and grimaced, crawling out of bed and quickly putting my clothes back on. Nice. Just help your friend's boyfriend cheat on her. You're a great person, Jaimie.

I opened my eyes slowly, not really sure what I was supposed to say... 'That definitely wasn't meaningless, but now we're going to leave and never see each other again.'? Yeah, that wouldn't work. "Sleep well?"

I hardly held back a laugh at that. Yeah. Right. "Yeah, fine. Yourself?"

"Really well, actually," I remarked. Though it wasn't that much of a surprise. It was just ... comfortable with her in my arms. Why the hell did I have to ruin all of this?

I nodded. "That's..." I swallowed the lump in my throat, "good."

I stood up, putting my clothes back on before going over to her, "Why do you keep doing that? Making it like absolutely nothing's bothering you and you don't need anyone? I'm not an idiot, most of the time."

"Because it's true," I answered as if it were obvious. "I mean... I've gone this long without anyone, right?" I let out a harsh laugh. That was how it was. Dad did whatever he did, Mom fucked guys and let them drink from her, and I fought. Nothing any of us did concerned the others.

"You're wrong," I told her stubbornly. "Sometimes you do need people."

"You know the first place we should check? Their rooms," I suggested. "Jaimie and Alexei might be packing or something."

I glanced up at him. "And when would that be?"

Damon

"Who first, then?" I asked, changing direction to go to the dhampir dorms.

"Jaimie's is closest," I pointed out.

Inka

I looked at him and laughed "Or we could find somewhere to sneak off too."

Ellie

I smiled and then muttered "Mmm pastry and sausage two of my four favourtie things...."

"Maybe right now, for instance," I told her seriously.

"What's the other one? Considering one of them is me," I said matter-of-factly.

I smiled slyly at her. "Works for me."

Damon

"True enough," I said.

Jaimie

"How's that?" I asked dryly.

Trent

"God, you don't even notice!" I told her frustratedly. "You need someone to be there for you, and yet you just push away anyone who cares about you!"

"Because no one cares, Trent!" I exploded, frowning at him. "Not my mom, not my fucking dad, that's for sure, and I don't have any other family. No one here gives a shit either. We all care about ourselves, and we're our top priorities! We might act like it, but we don't give a shit about anyone else!"

I pursed my lips and headed in that direction.

"I give a shit about you," I yelled back.

Inka

I smiled and then walked over to my mother "Mum look after him." I smiled shoving my son into her arms and then turning to Eric and smiling "Me and Eric need to say bye to some people."

"Well lets say it involves you still." I smirked and laughed

I just grinned.

Chris

"Hmm. Whatever could it be," I wondered aloud, smirking slightly.

Damon

"What's going on?" I asked, hearing yelling coming from one of the rooms. The voice sounded like... Trent?

Jaimie

I just went speechless for a moment. He was lying. He had to be. The only person Trent gave half a shit about was Adrienne. I couldn't speak, though, because I'd looked at him - he wasn't lying.

I listened carefully. "Sounds like something's going on," I obsevered, walking over to Jaimie's room and knocking on the door. "Jaimie?" I called.
